my step is traveling from mexico to another overseas destination with change of flight through houston. will he still need a transit visa? if so how would that be obtained. he is traveling on a russian passport....

Since he is a Russian Citizen he will need a transit visa. To get one he needs to contact a US Embassy or Consulate. There is one in Mexico City.

I'm a bit confused. If i fly from moncton to honolulu thru newark. On my way back home, where can I pass the canada immigration? Thank you.

On your way to Honolulu, you will go through US Immigration in Terminal C in Newark, claim your baggage, go through customs, and re-check it. Then go up to the departure level and through security and to your departure gate which will also be in Terminal C. On your return to Moncton, you will not go through any immigration in Newark and instead go through Canadian immigration in Moncton.

    Thank you very much.

  • Connecting on KLM in Amsterdam

Is 90 minutes enough time to connect in Amsterdam when flying from the US to Copenhagen as final destination?

That depends on on-time arrival at AMS. Arrivals from a non-Schengen (foreign) country: note that the passport will be checked upon arrival at, and departure from, Amsterdam Airport. On arrival, after passport control, follow signs to 'Baggage Hall' located on the ground level, retrieve your bags, & go through customs for security check. If you have nothing to declare, proceed to the Arrivals Hall through the green passage way. If connecting to a Schengen country, go through ticket control & security check; if connecting to a non-Schengen country, security check will be at the gate. Note that the transfer desks offer transfer information.
