Hi there, my first time to JFK. I am taking Qatar Airways and will arrive on 6 Apr at 915am based on itinerary. I will have to clear customs and re check in at counter for my next flight to YYZ at 1pm (Delta 4085). I would like to check if I have enough time? Thank you

That should be plenty of time. Your Delta flight will depart from Terminal 4.

Thank you for the advice. :)

I have a flight from YYZ to BCN via PHL. Do I have to clear customs in PHL and recheck bags for flight to BCN.. All my flights are with American Airlines

You will pre-clear US Immigration and customs in Toronto. All you have to do in philadelphia is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

  • Connecting Flight from New Orleans to Manchester UK

Travelling from New Orleans with AA 4307 arriving at 9:10 PM. I have a connecting flight AA 54 leaving for Manchester at 9:55PM. This seems very tight - will I have time to transfer between flights. I will have checked bags at New Orleans. Thanks

That is enough time if your flight from New Orleans is on-time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both in Terminal 3.

im flyinh united from PBI to EWR and then EWR to FRA with united as well. do i go through security again ?

No, you will not have to go through security. Almost all PBI-EWR flights arrive in Terminal C and you will also depart from Terminal C. There are a few United Express PBI-EWR flights that arrive in Terminal A, in which case you can take a shuttle bus inside security to Terminal C.

    Thank you very much!

I would like to ask you that do I require any visa or approval on Boston airport if I am travelling to Peterborough, ON. from India

If you are an Indian Citizen you will need a US Transit Visa as in Boston you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags, change terminals, and go through security.

Friday 16th September Lufthansa 19:10 PTY Panama City Tocumen International 13:15(+1) FRA Frankfurt am Main 1hour 40min layover 14:55 FRA Frankfurt am Main 15:35 LHR London Heathrow I have a UK passport.. Do I have to go through customs/security? Do I have to collect my baggage? Is this enough time?

So you're flying Panama City->Houston->Frankfurt->London? If so, in Houston you will go through US Immigration, customs, and security. You should not have to claim your luggage if you are on an International to International connection on United, but double check that with United employees in Houston. It's not clear to me how much time you have so I don't know if it's enough.

No not houston i dont mention houston in that message at all Fri 16th september depart from Panama to frankfurt then 1hour 41min layover Then board a plane from Frankfurt to london Flying with lufthansa Customs? Baggabe reclaim?

Then why did you post your question in the forum for Houston-Interncontinental airport if you're not stopping in Houston? All you have to do in Frankfurt is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. Since you're not entering the Schengen Area you don't have to go through passport control.

Ooooo my bad thought i could just ask about any flights here! Thanks!

Hesitating to book a flight because of the short layover at IAH Saturday 4th June 2016 10:30 LHR London Heathrow 13:30 ORD Chicago O'Hare International Sunday 5th June 2016 04:55(+1) ORD Chicago O'Hare International 07:43 IAH Houston George Bush Intercntl. 1 hour 21 minute layover 09:04 IAH Houston George Bush Intercntl. 10:54 GUA Guatemala City Will my bags be checked through to Guatemala? Will I have to go through customs? Is 1hour 21minutes enough time? Thanks!

Yes, that is enough time. there is no US Customs when leaving the US. You will just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate in Houston on your way to Guatemala. You don't have to do anything with your bags there.

  • Date of Flying for arrival

I am trying to find info about a flight from Darwin to Brisbane, When I change the date to what it is here in Australia, 28/2/18, your weird programme changes it back to yesterday's date 27/2/16. This is of no value to me whatsoever. Hopeless !

You are obviously an American company, , and it is 10.02 a.m. here in Australia. You arer still in 27/2/16. , but that is of no use to people wanting to use your website, ; remember it is a World Wide Web, not America wide Web, so do something to make your programme capable of realising that there are other countries that exist, even in a different time zone, and that it should be capable of supplying answers to queries, world wide.

My flight is at 1:10pm on a friday.. Will I be able to catch the flight if I reach YVR at 12pm

I would try to get there earlier than that. China Southern recommends arriving 90 minutes before your flight.

After researching how to send my child unaccompanied to visit his grandparents for what seemed like hours, a firiend told me about Weflykids which is a travel agency which only finds and books flights for kids. My agent took care of everything and the it cost me less than last summer! I'll be using them again this summer.

I arrive into FRA from MRS and have a 1hr 30min connection time before my flight to BAH. Is this enough time?

If both flights are Lufthansa that should be enough time.

  • Connecton versus Stopover in Italy

Usually domestic flights within a country other than US/CA(eg: BRI-FCO-FLR) are considered connections if 24hrs or less. A stopover is 24hrs or more. I heard Italy has a special exception and that a connection or transfer for domestic flights in Italy is 7 hrs or less. Is this true?

Flying from puerto vallarta to montreal on united whit a flight change in chicago .Is 2 hours ok. Do i have to clear costum and imigration in Chicago.

In Chicago you will arrive in Terminal 5, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then take the ATS Train to your departure terminal and go through security and to your departure gate. You have just enough time.

Hi, I am flying from RSW to CLT to LHR to BCN. So I will check in my luggage in fort Myers, understand I wont pick up my luggage in Charlotte and not go through immigration so one hour is enough in between. Then when I get to LHR will I have to pick up my luggage and go through security and immigration and recheck my luggage to go to Barcelona? I have 5 hours there so not to concern time wise. Will I have to go through immigration again in Barcelona? anything interesting to do in LHR? Thanks

You won't have to claim your baggage in London or even go through Immigration there since you aren't entering the UK. You will go through Schengen immigration in Barcelona.
