    It's 45 miles, so I would guess around $100. This company's rate from Atlantic City to Cape May is $95. It may be slightly cheaper or more expensive from ACY airport. http://a-1taxi.net/Rates.html

  • From ORD to Kalamazoo with a small dog

    Flying from Finland to ORD in June with a small 7 pound dog and we'll need to get to Kalamazoo. Have found out that neither Amtrak nor Greyhound accept animals. Flying and some car services are quite expensive. Any pointers for an affortable transportation are highly appreciated.

    If you google 'Transport Chicago Ord to Kalamazoo, you get, among other options a taxi fare quote of $58 (plus customary tip).

    $58 is awfully cheap for such a long trip. Can you drive? If so it would probably be cheapest to do a one-way car rental from ORD to Kalamazoo airport.

    Unfortunately I don't have a licence. And yes 58$ sounds too good to be true as all companies I found charge around 300$. But will check it out. Thanks

    Indian Trails also has a Chicago-Kalamazoo bus - it doesn't say on their website that they don't carry pets, so you could call and ask. http://www.indiantrails.com/

    There is no scheduled shuttle from MDW to Sycamore. You'll either have to arrange for a taxi (flat rate is about $100) or Take the CTA Orange Line to Washington and Wells, then take the METRA UP-W train from Ogilvie Transit Center to Elburn, which is 15 miles east of Sycamore. There is no scheduled public transportation service to Sycamore.

    Need to know the name of the Bus Service that goes from Ohare to Kankakee, il........I tried all 7 of the ones on the ohare ground transportation and none of them go there...Anyone know the name of the one bus service that does?

    There is no scheduled direct bus service from O'Hare to Kankakee. 303 Taxi offers flat rate taxi service for $103 http://www.303taxi.com/local/kankakee.html If you're looking for something cheap that will take a little longer, you can take the CTA blue line to downtown chicago (Clinton station) and take the Greyhound bus for $14-$26 or Amtrak ($7-$18) to Kankakee. It does appear there used to be scheduled bus service from O'Hare to Kankakee operated by a company called Lincolnland Expess, but it shut down in 2012.

    There are some agencies that can help you arrange for a van. I would guess it might cost a few hundred USD. It's a 4-5 hour trip. You could also fly - Aeromexico fares are about $139 USD per person one way right now. Mexican LCC Interjet also flies the route and might be cheaper.

    Hi. Im travelling on United from Atlanta to Houston & then connecting to Dubai on Emirates. How can I tranfer my baggage between the terminals? Are we allowed to take the luggage trollery in the Terminal link?

    No, you cannot take a luggage trolley on TerminaLink. However, if you have to claim your baggage then re-check it with Emirates in D (and you don't arrive in Terminal C or E on United), then you can take your baggage on the Inter-Terminal Train which runs outside security. Also, if you arrive in Terminal C on united then you won't have to take your bags on any train and can just walk to Emirates in D.

    There is no scheduled shuttle service to Kerrville, you'll have to either get a taxi or rent a car. There's also two daily Greyhound buses from downtown san antonio to Kerrville, but you would have to get downtown to use that so it probably wouldn't be worth it.

    There are no shuttles between PHL and York. Your only options are to rent a car or take the SEPTA into downtown philadelphia and then take the Greyhound bus to York. Or get a Taxi which would cost about $200.

    About how long does it take to clear the airport and get to Termini Station? Arriving via LHR from the US. I know the express itself is 30-35 minutes. How much time should be allowed to clear non-Schlengen customs, etc.? Thanks!

    At LAS, RTC public buses are available to downtown Las Vegas via Bus 108, and Bus 109 takes you to the South Strip Transfer Terminal, the Consolidated Rental Car facility and to Maryland Parkway. Beside shuttle vans, the ACE Gold Line bus runs along the Las Vegas Strip and connects with Route 109 south at the South Strip Transfer Terminal (there is no direct bus service to The Strip).
