Travel into MidwayMay 20, 201300I will be traveling from 1244 N Dearborn Pkwy into Midway on Thursday morning. I need to be there around 10am. I am not taking a flight however, I am boarding a Charter bus to Peoria. As I have never been to this airport or Chicago in general, I was wondering what the easiest way to get to the pickup area would be via public transportation. I assume this Charter bus leaves where all of the others do (lower level by skywalk/parking building. Would I take the red line to Orange line? Where would I go from there? From ORD to Kalamazoo with a small dogMay 12, 201340Flying from Finland to ORD in June with a small 7 pound dog and we'll need to get to Kalamazoo. Have found out that neither Amtrak nor Greyhound accept animals. Flying and some car services are quite expensive. You'll either have to arrange for a taxi (flat rate is about $100) or Take the CTA Orange Line to Washington and Wells, then take the METRA UP-W train from Ogilvie Transit Center to Elburn, which is 15 miles east of Sycamore. It does appear there used to be scheduled bus service from O'Hare to Kankakee operated by a company called Lincolnland Expess, but it shut down in 2012.ZAPposted on Mon, May 6

However, if you have to claim your baggage then re-check it with Emirates in D (and you don't arrive in Terminal C or E on United), then you can take your baggage on the Inter-Terminal Train which runs outside security.
