arrival time for checkinDec 7, 201211I am on a rip that says I will be dropped off at SFO approx 3pm. There is a nonstop United flight at 4:00 that I would lke to get, Will this be enough time to get checked in, through the gate and in time for departure approx 3:00 on a Friday in mid June?Doeposted on Thu, Dec 6[ Reply ]1 person likes this post [ Like ]Your arrival and departure depends on which airlines you use and if you need time to go through customs clearance as an international arrival. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/sfo, then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text.frdec12posted on Fri, Dec 7

Daily commutes to and from LAXNov 27, 201210I'm moving to LA and will be working at an airport (LAX) hotel. I'll have early, late, and weekend hours and I won't have a car. What bus or other public transit options are there for me to live in a reasonably close and decent place? Can I live anywhere in or near Santa Monica and make that work?mbellposted on Tue, Nov 27Congratulations on your new start! While I cannot suggest a 'dencent place' to live (my advice would be to rent a close-by motel for a week, make inquiries with your co-workers and look for a place to live when time allows. If you want to settle in Santa Monica, you can take the Big Blue Bus tel. weekdays 310-451-54444; (visit bigbluebus.com); The Culver City Bus shows an excellent map of the LA area, including the Airport (visit culvercity.org/Government/Transpotation/bus.aspx) NOTE: At LAX Shuttles, scheduled buses & Long-Distance Vans & buses available on lower/ arrivals level islands in front of each terminal under the 'LAX Shuttle & Airline Connections' sign): (a) for Terminal to terminal connection, use the A Route; (b) to get to the Metro Bus Center with connections to LA area, take the C Route; (c) to Metro Green Line Aviation Station, take the G route. Furthermore LAX is served by 2 shared ride vans: Prime Time Shuttle and SuperShuttle, operate out of LAX and are authorized to serve all Southern California counties. Good luck on your new adventure!tunov12posted on Tue, Nov 27

Marina to Monterey AirportNov 21, 201210What's the most convenient way (besides driving and leaving car at airport overnight), to get from Marina to the Monterey Peninsula Airport?Rebecca84posted on Wed, Nov 21The only option you have - other than taking a taxi - Central Coast Taxi 831-626-3333 is to park in either the short-term upper lot at $20 for each 24 hrs ($2 for each half hr) - or a Long-rm lot at $10 for 24 hrs. (Call Republic Parking at 831373-8287.wenov12posted on Wed, Nov 21

Where is the train terminal in the airpoNov 13, 201210My husband will be flying into SEA-TAC for a job interview. He's never been to this airport before. He'll be flying American. He's been informed by the potential employer to take the train into downtown Seattle in order to get to his hotel. How easy will it be for him to find the train departure point?blugrasslassposted on Mon, Nov 121. Open http://www.portseattle.org/Sea-Tac/Maps-and-Directions/Pages/Terminal-Overview.aspx - look at A gates (served by American Airlines) 2. The Link Light Rail to the City departs from the new SeaTac/Airport Station, which is connected by a pedestrian covered walkway to Skybridge 6, located on the 4th floor of the Parking Garage, which connects to the main passenger terminal's ticketing level. Trains run every 7.5 minutes during rush hours and every 15 minutes thereafter, MonSat 5am-1am & Sun 6am-midnight. He needs to get from the A gates to the Main Terminal's ticketing level. See map for Link Rail Sation: http://www.portseattle.org/Sea-Tac/Maps-and-Directions/Pages/Terminal-to-Link-Light-Rail.aspxtunov12posted on Tue, Nov 13

ohare to gary airport optionsNov 20, 2012304 of us need to get to Gary airport from Ohare midday weekday..what are my options with pricesrjposted on Sun, Nov 4How much time do you have? Cheapest option would be to take the CTA Blue Line to Clark & Lake, walk 5 blocks to Randolph St. Metra/Millennium Station and take the South Shore Line to the Clark Rd./Gary Airport Station (which is 1.5 miles from the GYY terminal). I estimate this would take about 3 hours. The next cheapest would probably be to rent a car from Enterprise or Hertz (the two car rental options at Gary) one-way from O'Hare to Gary. This would probably take 1-1.5 hours if you leave O'Hare before 3 PM. A taxi or shuttle would run about $100 and probably be the easiest.ZAPposted on Wed, Nov 7Very useful information, you worth it. Thanks for sharing.shofurlimoposted on Tue, Nov 20

Transportation to Baltimore AirportOct 19, 201210I arrive at 12:35 am on a Sunday and need to get to Baltimore's airportKathrynposted on Fri, Oct 19What you need is to get to the MARC train station in Washington, which gets you close to the Baltimore Airport; a free shuttle connects to the Airport's terminal. I suggest you go to the information counter on arrival at DCA and ask how to get to the MARC train station. This is what I got for Reagan: The Metro station's yellow and blue lines are situated on an elevated outdoor platform covered by a canopy and connected to the concourse level of Terminal B/C. During Metro's non-operational hours on weekend mornings, you can take the Metrobus instead. The Airport is also near two Amtrak rail stations, both of which can be accessedby using the Metrorail system: (a) at Amtrak Union Station o Metrorail's Red Line; (b) at Amtrak Alexandria Station, which is adjacent to King Street Station on Metrorail's Blue & Yellow lines.froct12posted on Fri, Oct 19
