Transport power chair to hotel from LAXJun 9, 201210What is the cheapest way to get my family from LAX to the JW Marriott with a member using a power wheelchair? One private place told us it would cost $350 for both ways. Can't afford that.boswellbposted on Fri, Jun 8I suggest you open http://www.marriott.com/hotels/maps/travel/laxap-los-angeles-airport-marriott/ - this is the closest Marriott Hotel to the Airport - tel. 1-310-641-5700 - it is 1.4 miles from the Airport - You may even be able to use the power wheelchair to get there as it is on West Century Blvd leading straight into the Airport. Do inquire on arrival at the information counter.frjun12posted on Sat, Jun 9

Bus from EWR to Allentown, PAFeb 1, 201320Where exactly is the Bus Service terminal to Allentown, PA. Is it in the terminal? It's part of my trip itinerary, so my wait is about 4 hrs (I'm so hoping it's inside).MABSposted on Tue, Jun 5Buses stop in front of each of the 3 EWR terminals. For schedule open http://www.transbridgelines.com/daily.htm. Alternatively, you could take the Olympic Bus service to midtown Manhattan, with its first stop at the huge Bus Terminal on 42d Street/8th Avenue, serving all buses, private and public.wejun12posted on Wed, Jun 6

Best way to go to Otsego, Michigan?Jun 4, 201210Pls let me know what bus/train to take to get to Otsego, Michigan from MDW. Thanks for your help.sehmomposted on Sun, Jun 31. You can stop by the information counter in the arrivals area of Midway Airport for transportation options. 2. Midway is served by the L train - you can board the Orange Line trains, which run to downtown Chicago and the Loop (total time 25 mins) in the terminal's station, where you can also catch the CTA buses. 3. Head for Chicago's Main Train Station and take Amtrak to Kalamazoo (459 N.Burdick Street - 12.6 km from Otsego. (google Amtrak for timetable). 4. Of course, you could also take a connecting flight to Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport - 13 miles from Otsego.mojun12posted on Mon, Jun 4

Terminal 5 -> BusOct 30, 201220Hi ! I will arrive at 11:30 am next monday at the O'Hare airport, from Mexico at terminal 5 (and I am french). I need to take a bus to Champaign then. It is possible to take it at 3 pm at terminal 5 ? (last time, I spend a lot of time with immigration stuffs...)Gabyposted on Wed, May 23Yes, at ORD you can spend quite some time going through the immigration process. However you have plenty of time. I presume you know which bus to take to Champain. If not, these are the transportation choices: 1. Trains: (a) Subway trains from CTA 'L' Blue Line depart underground of Terminal 5, and Metra North Central's commuter trains stop at the O'Hare Transfer station, which connects to the Airport Transit System by a shuttle bus. (b) the CTA Orange Line links directly into Chicago's Loop with connections to all other lines in the loop. Other regional train and bus information may be obtained by going to the website for the Chicago Area Regional Transportation Authority. 2. Buses: The Bus/Shuttle Center is on the ground level (Level 1 near elevator center 3) of the elevated parking garage. This center is the central pick-up facility for regional and shuttle buses - some regional buses pick up at Terminal 5. Pace bus picks up at the "Kiss and Fly" area.thapr12posted on Thu, May 24

getting from EWR to Fair LawnMay 17, 201220I will be arriving on a Saturday evening (international flight) to EWR and need to get to Fair Lawn, NJ. what would be the least expensive way to do this? is it safe to take the NJ train (change at secaucus) at that hour? is there some kind of shared van that is available?Ramsesposted on Wed, May 16This is what I found at Wiki Fair Lawn, N.J.: "Fair Lawn is served by the Radburn and Broadway train stations on the New Jersey Transit Bergen County Line. The stations offer service to Hoboken Terminal, with connections at Secaucus Junction to Penn Station in midtown Manhattan and to most other New Jersey Transit train lines. New Jersey Transit buses include the 144, 148, 160, 164 and 196 routes to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in midtown Manhattan; the, 171, 175 to the George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal; and the 746, 758 and 770 lines, offering local service." In my opinion, it would be easiest for you to take the bus into NYC: 1. The Olympic Bus service to Manhattan is available to downtown and midtown; the bus to midtown makes its first stop at the Bus Terminal on 42d Street/8th Avenue and continues on to the Grand Central Station.thapr12posted on Thu, May 17

AATA has best bus service to DTWMay 6, 201200Although I live in Southfield, for any trip lasting more than a couple of days, I drive to Ann Arbor and take advantage of the following deal they call AirRide: $24 r/t (prepaid) using Michigan Fllyer Park in the Fourth Ave parking structure for up to 14 days for an additional $2 (flat! not per day!).. The bus takes about an hour between the airport and downtown Ann Arbor. There are three stops. http://www.aata.org/pdf/AirRideFactSheet.pdf http://www.myairride.com/rhoneymanposted on Sun, May 6

Downtown ShuttleMay 4, 201221I will be coming in to Terminal B. Where do I find the Downtown Shuttle?LaSeñoraposted on Wed, May 2Stop by at SAT's information counter. If the shuttle leaves at Terminal A, you can walk right over as the unsecured areas of the terminals are connected. The GO Airport Shuttle (210-281-9900) is the Airports only shared-ride hotel shuttle service, departing the Airport every 15 minutes.thapr12posted on Thu, May 31 person likes this post [ Like ]
