  • getting to union station

i'm arriving at T3H5 with AA; what's the nearest exit to a taxi and how do i get there? i checked ord maps, no clear way out will 1 hour from landing (hopefully on time) be enough to get to union station by cab (b4 morning rush hour)? thanks for guidance

In general, the taxi stand is right outside of the baggage claim level.

Traffic is bad most of the day in Chicago between O'Hare and downtown. However, a taxi can probably do the trip in less than an hour.

  • Bus to Civitanova Marche

I am arriving at Terminal 5. Is there a bus to Civitanova Marche? If so, where is the bus station located and can a reserve a seat in advance?

No flights arrive in Terminal 5. If your are arriving on a US flight it will arrive in Terminal 3. It's very unlikely there's a direct bus considering that Civitanova Marche is quite far away from Rome (and quite small). I recommend taking the Leonardo Express to Rome Termini and then another train from Rome to Ancona and then a city bus to Civitanova Marche.

You can get a bus within a few blocks from Termini. I think that there is now also a connecting service from Terminal 3 to the main departure point mentioned above in Castro Pretorio. See the link below: http://www.startspa.it/linea_roma/roma_ascoli.htm

How to get from Terminal C to Terminal A

The TerminaLink train connects the terminals inside security and the Inter-Terminal Train connects the terminals outside security.

What is the easiest way to get to the airport?

Get someone to drive you or call a taxi if you don't have your own car. By car/taxi it would take only half an hour but public transit would take 2 hours.

Is there a shuttle from the airport to pier 52 to catch the ferry to bremerton?

The baggage claim level of SEA's main terminal, at the South Lot, has the Bremerton-Kitsap Airporter.

  • Travel into Midway

I will be traveling from 1244 N Dearborn Pkwy into Midway on Thursday morning. I need to be there around 10am. I am not taking a flight however, I am boarding a Charter bus to Peoria. As I have never been to this airport or Chicago in general, I was wondering what the easiest way to get to the pickup area would be via public transportation. I assume this Charter bus leaves where all of the others do (lower level by skywalk/parking building. Would I take the red line to Orange line? Where would I go from there? Thanks so much for your help!

Cost from ACY to Cape May, New Jersey?

It's 45 miles, so I would guess around $100. This company's rate from Atlantic City to Cape May is $95. It may be slightly cheaper or more expensive from ACY airport. http://a-1taxi.net/Rates.html

  • From ORD to Kalamazoo with a small dog
    May 12, 2013

Flying from Finland to ORD in June with a small 7 pound dog and we'll need to get to Kalamazoo. Have found out that neither Amtrak nor Greyhound accept animals. Flying and some car services are quite expensive. Any pointers for an affortable transportation are highly appreciated.

If you google 'Transport Chicago Ord to Kalamazoo, you get, among other options a taxi fare quote of $58 (plus customary tip).

$58 is awfully cheap for such a long trip. Can you drive? If so it would probably be cheapest to do a one-way car rental from ORD to Kalamazoo airport.

Unfortunately I don't have a licence. And yes 58$ sounds too good to be true as all companies I found charge around 300$. But will check it out. Thanks

Indian Trails also has a Chicago-Kalamazoo bus - it doesn't say on their website that they don't carry pets, so you could call and ask. http://www.indiantrails.com/
