  • Limo service from Abe to JFK
    Aug 1, 2013
Any ideas about limo service from Abe to JFK..not bus or flying

By "Abe" you mean Allentown? Do you realize that's over 100 miles and 2 hours by car? A limo service for this would be several hundred dollars. You can call around for quotes though.

Alternative tranport: 1. Trans-Bridge Lines Trans-Bridge Lines (1-800-962-9135) with daily service to: NYC, EWR Airport, JFK Airport, Wall Street, Jersey City).

  • DC to Annapolis

Is there a commuter train that runs from Reagan airport to Annapolis?

The closest train station to Annapolis is the Odenton MARC station which is still 16 miles from Annapolis, To get there from DCA, you need to take the DC Metro Yellow Line from DCA Airport to Gallery Place and then the Red line to Union Station. From there you need to transfer to the MARC Penn Line to Odenton. After you get to Odenton you'll have to get a taxi or someone else to take you to Annapolis.

  • Late flight - how to get ground transportation
    Aug 25, 2014
Flying in late to MRY, arriving at 11:30 pm. How do we get ground transportation? We are vacationing 11 miles south of Carmel. Are we stranded at the airport overnight until Rental Car agencies open?

Rental car agencies usually stay open until the last flight arrives.

Monterey Airport usually has last flights by 10pm. Do check with your airline. There is an Inn right at the Airport Road, within walking distance & taxis take about 15 mins. to Carmel. For more information open

  • Best taxi service to Rome centre
    Jul 16, 2013
From gate 709 to taxi service then to Rome do we accomplish this?

FCO's terminals have boarding areas B through H, with corresponding gates (i.e., gate H19) There is no gate 709 - the highest gate number is 30. After going through 'non-Schengen' passport check, and picking up your bags, you can board outside of the Arrivals level your taxi. Other options: 1. Airport Connection Shuttle between the Airport & all of Rome's hotels at a fixed price (a private taxi costs at least 70 EU). 2. The Airport's train station is in Terminal 3's concourse (leading to H gates), where the Leonardo Express train to Rome runs twice an hour, non-stop, to the main train station 'Termini' in Rome.

  • Time from landing to train
    Jul 18, 2013
I am landing in Terminal 3 from Lisbon and need to take the train from FCO to Roma Termini. How much time should I allow? I'm scheduled to land at 10:45 am and want to catch the 11:38 am.

Yes, I definitely think you could make that train if your flight is on-time since you won't have to go through immigration.

If I need to check baggage, do you think there will still be enough time?

who or how is the cheapest way to get to galveston

The City of Galveston has developed a way to book a car between them. However, the cheapest would probably be to rent a car.

Allstar transportation service has really good rates to Galveston. They kjnd of specialize in running that route.

  • getting to union station
    Jun 16, 2013
i'm arriving at T3H5 with AA; what's the nearest exit to a taxi and how do i get there? i checked ord maps, no clear way out will 1 hour from landing (hopefully on time) be enough to get to union station by cab (b4 morning rush hour)? thanks for guidance

In general, the taxi stand is right outside of the baggage claim level.

Traffic is bad most of the day in Chicago between O'Hare and downtown. However, a taxi can probably do the trip in less than an hour.

  • Bus to Civitanova Marche
    Sep 13, 2013
I am arriving at Terminal 5. Is there a bus to Civitanova Marche? If so, where is the bus station located and can a reserve a seat in advance?

No flights arrive in Terminal 5. If your are arriving on a US flight it will arrive in Terminal 3. It's very unlikely there's a direct bus considering that Civitanova Marche is quite far away from Rome (and quite small). I recommend taking the Leonardo Express to Rome Termini and then another train from Rome to Ancona and then a city bus to Civitanova Marche.

You can get a bus within a few blocks from Termini. I think that there is now also a connecting service from Terminal 3 to the main departure point mentioned above in Castro Pretorio. See the link below:

The TerminaLink train connects the terminals inside security and the Inter-Terminal Train connects the terminals outside security.

What is the easiest way to get to the airport?

Get someone to drive you or call a taxi if you don't have your own car. By car/taxi it would take only half an hour but public transit would take 2 hours.
