I have one night layover in LAXMar 14, 201330Hi there! I have one night layover in LAX and I am looking for a way to store my luggage in LAX airport while I spend a night at a hotel but I dont want to take all my luggage with me any suggestions? Thank you so much!pamelacalposted on Thu, Mar 14[ Reply ][ Like ]There is no airport storage for baggage in LAX - you'll have to bring it to your hotel.ZAPposted on Thu, Mar 14Do you have any recommendations for a hotel close by? I have a layover because my flight is to Shanghai next day and I flying from Ecuador. So it is a long flight and I just want to have a good nights sleep maybe somewhere around Santa Monica Beach? And are ther e shuttles? Thank you, Ive been in other states in the US but first time to LA.pamelacalposted on Thu, Mar 14Santa Monica Beach isn't too far away but none of the hotels there would have a shuttle to LAX. I've only stayed at a LAX airport hotel and it was at the Marriott I think. There are lots of large high quality hotels right by LAX (Crowne Plaza, Radisson, Embassy Suites, Sheraton, Hilton), which all have a shuttle.ZAPposted on Thu, Mar 14

Internationl connection questionsFeb 24, 201310We are flying from Seattle, US to Beijing, China via YVR on Air Canada. Change planes in YVR then to Beijing on Air Canada. Do we need to recheck our luggages at YVR? Do we need to go through Canada customs (we are US citizens)? We have 2 hrs layover with two kids, will that be enough?LWPposted on Sun, Feb 24

Layover @ YYZFeb 22, 201311We have a 22:45 arrival into Toronto in April and don't leave until 7:55 on a conecting flight. By the time we claim baggae and clear customs it is hardly worth getting a room. Is there any suggestions or longes open through the night at Pearson?rmahonposted on Fri, Feb 221 person likes this post [ Like ]Airline Lounges at Toronto Pearson Airport: Star Alliance, Skyteam and Oneworld member airlines maintain lounges inside the passenger terminals, which are accessible to their preferred customers and holders of certain elite cards; however there are also several 'pay-in' lounges, accessible by all passengers, regardless of status and airline. 1. Terminal 1 has 3 Maple Leaf Lounges accessible to certain Star Alliance customers and located in the following areas: (a) International level 3, Node F; (b) International / USA, level 4, Node F; and (c) Domestic. 2. Terminal 3 has (a) the American Airlines Admirals Club, British Airways' Galleries Club and Galleries First lounges – all three accessible by certain OneWorld customers; (b) the KLM Crown Lounge, accessible by certain Skyteam customers, and (c) the Plaza Premium Lounge, a pay-in lounge accessible to all passengers.frfeb13posted on Fri, Feb 22

Violinist needs area to practiceDec 19, 201210I arrive at ORLY at 8:15 pm for a 9 hr. 45 minute layover (leaving again at 6am)... I don't have a lot of money for a hotel, but I do need a room to practice. Is there anywhere I can practice in the airport with a mute? Or maybe a hotel is the best option if I can find one for around $60. I don't see the point in spending more if I need to leave it at 4am to catch my international flight. Need ideas. Thankyou so much!Vitalliposted on Tue, Dec 18

1 hour connection in IAD, by UnitedDec 19, 201221Hi! Flying from London with United – Flights 923, arriving Sat 11:15, I have only 1:05 time to catch next flight to Houston with United – Flights 634. What are my chances to do this connection, to catch my Texas plane? To do so is crucial, as there is a next flight United – Flights 1083 (there will be 3hrs connection time but I dont see any later flight to Houston)ZBePbposted on Tue, Dec 181. On arrival at IAD, follow signs 'TO BAGGAGE CLAIM / GROUND TRANSPORTATION'; international arrivals will board the shuttle to US Customs located in the Arrivals Building at the west end of the Main Terminal (go through passport check, retrieve bags, go through customs clearance, then re-check-in bag where indicated. International arrivals who continue their journey cannot use the AeroTrain, but need to take the shuttle bus to their connecting gate. 2. United uses A/B, & C/D Midfield Concourses with corresponding gates. One hour is extremely tight, particularly at this time of year. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/iad then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text.wedec12posted on Wed, Dec 191 person likes this post [ Like ]

Can I leave AMS with a 4 hour layover?Oct 17, 201211My first flight is from RDU (USA) to BLL (Denmark) and I have a 4 hour layover. Am I allowed to leave the airport during my layover? If yes, how much time to I need to be there before my next flight? I am carrying my luggage (not checking any), so if I leave the airport will I have to go through customs or just security? Also, On the way home (from NBO (Nairobi) to RDU (USA)) I have a 1 hour layover in AMS. Is that enough time to catch my next plane? Thanks!Katrinposted on Wed, Oct 171 person likes this post [ Like ]Your itinerary seems to be: departing RDU to BLL, to AMS, to NBO - if so, you need to go through Danish immigration procedure, as you are an international arrival there. While Billund Airport is only 2 miles from the city, once you leave the secured area, you will have to go through security check on re-entering the terminal. Billund has a King Amlet Lounge - passengers on scheduled flights can use it at a fee. For Amsterdam Airport I strongly recommend that you open www.ifly.com/ams and click on "Terminal Map" under QUICK LINKS, then scroll down to the detailed text for terminals, airlines & connections. As to "not checking any luggage" - you are only allowed a carry-on bag which will either fit under your legs or in the overhead compartment of your plane. Anything else needs to be checked in. Check with your airlines for baggage charges for each piece of luggage, size and weight.weoct12posted on Wed, Oct 17

stay over one dayJul 15, 201210monday aug 27 we are from 6.30 am till 6.00 pm at the airport. any suggestion to do? shuttle to the citycentre? thanks Ann Broekmanann broekmanposted on Sun, Jul 151. I suggest that you open www.ifly.com/phl - scroll down to the end and read "To get from the Airport to your destination", for transportation options into the city; return to main menu and select from QUICK LINKS both "Terminal Map" (has description of terminals & how to get around) and "Airport Layover Ideas". Know ahead of time where your connecting Terminal & gate is, and count in the time you needed to get to the city for your return. 3. On arrival at PHL it may be a good idea to pick up some pamphlets about the City at the information counter near the baggage claim area.sujul12posted on Sun, Jul 15
