DOes everyone goes trough securityMay 13, 201340We are flying in to Chicago( from Minneapolis) and are going overseas to europe - do we go trough security both in minneapolis and chicago?FLYposted on Mon, May 13[ Reply ][ Like ]Your arrival is either in Teminals 1, 2 or 3, your departure may be in Terminal 5, the International Terminal. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/ord then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text, which includes transfer options, terminals, concourses & gates, as well as current airlines.momay13posted on Mon, May 13If you can let me know the airlines you are flying I can help you with how to do your connection.ZAPposted on Mon, May 13American airlines from minneapolis to chicago ( arrival 19.35) Departure SAS 22.05. So do I get all the way out of the terminal 3 and where do I find the train or shuttle? I have 2.1/2 hour which i suppose should be doable? I quess i wont have to trough security until in terminal 5. What about our luggage? Do we carry them to terminal or do we leave them at terminal 3?FLYposted on Mon, May 13Yes, you will have to exit security and then take the ATS train from Terminal 3 to Terminal 5 and go through security again. If your tickets were booked on one reservation American should be able to check your bags through to SAS. Otherwise you'll have to claim them and take them on the train to T5.ZAPposted on Mon, May 13

Terminal 2 - Morning FlightMay 11, 201320How long should I allow for security for a 10:20 am flight on a Saturday morning? Or, how early should I get to the airport if I'm not checking baggage and already have my boarding pass?BGposted on Fri, May 10Didn't realize that this wasn't specifically for O'Hare, so wanted to clarify that I'm flying out of O'Hare Terminal 2.BGposted on Fri, May 10

Immmigration and customs are quick..but even with two hours between flighst the security at Ohare takes so long we barely make our connecting flight.. I have Global entry security but it does not seem to help...am I missing this lane? or where iis it at? TSA does not seem to know what I'm talking about. Thank youStanposted on Sat, Apr 131 person likes this post [ Like ]At ORD, the new Pre-Check lane is in Terminal 3, Security checkpoint 8, near door 3G (as stated at ifly.com) - TSA should have known.suapr13posted on Sun, Apr 141 person likes this post [ Like ]

Terminal AccessMar 3, 201320I have a long layover at the Phoenix Airport. I have passes to the United club in Terminal 2, but I will be flying out of Terminal 4 on Southwest. These terminals are not connected. Will I be able to through security in Terminal 2 even though my ticket is not for an airline in that terminal?JELposted on Sat, Mar 2At PHX, to get from T2 to T4, you must leave the secure area & catch the shuttle bus at the curb - as the Red Carpet Club at T2 is most likely in the secured area, you would have to go there through security check, as well as on your return via shuttle to T4.samar13posted on Sat, Mar 2

Hotel Room in Santiago AirportFeb 26, 201310I have a 10 hour stop over in Santiago International Airport and want to hire a room for about 6 hours. I don't want to leave the airport or to go through customs. Does anyone know if this service is offered at this airport?JPOposted on Tue, Feb 26Open http://www.holidayinn.com/hotels/us/en/santiago/sclap/hoteldetail/directions - one of Holiday Inn's is on Airport. However, whenever you exit a terminal, you will have to go through security check on your return. For more airport information, I suggest you open www.ifly.com/scl then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text. (Presuming you mean Santiago, Chile (not Spain)tufeb13posted on Tue, Feb 26

check in timeFeb 13, 201310i am disembarking from a cruise on a monday in july in amsterdam. The ship arrives at 7am. My flight is scheduled to leave at 10:50am back to the states. Is this enough time to check in and clear passport control and still make the flight. It is peak season.shelbyposted on Tue, Feb 12If taking a bus from the Cruise ship to AMS Airport, do figure in at least 1.5 hrs for transfer. Getting to your airline counter and checking in another hour. Going through security check and on to your connecting gate another 40 mins. It may be a good idea to pre-arrange for taxi at cruise ship. For detailed terminal information I suggest you open www.ifly.com/ams, then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text.wefeb13posted on Wed, Feb 13
