My 20-year old son lost his VA issued ID and will be flying to Florida this weekend. He has an expired passport and birth certificate and SS card. Will this be enough to get through TSA/Security?

    It should be.

Hi I'm a US citizen but im flying from YYZ toronto to Tokyo with and 1:40 min layover at O'hare, will i need to go through customs and security again once i land if i 'm just changing planes? and if so will i able to make my flight since i only have 1hr and 40 min? Thank you in advance.

I should also note that i will not have any checked baggage so i dont need to go to baggage claim and it is all on a single ticket with American Airlines

I am the same person who commented about the 45 min layover. I dont know if you will be able to help me but, can I fly out of incheon, south korea with my Filipino passport then enter seattle with my US one? I highly doubt I can do this but for some reason my father thinks I can. Flying alone for the first time is scary enough, and I dont want to have any issues midway.

Will be traveling with my spouse who has just received his international spousal visa into the US. Will be arriving on AA at CLT and have to change to US Air in 1.14 minutes. Is this possible? Will we have to pick up and recheck luggage? This will be on a Monday around 4:30pm.

You will arrive, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk and go through security. You have 16 minutes shorter than the recommended time. It's possible, but only if everything goes perfectly.

I am sorry for posting this here. I couldn't find the information elsewhere. I am Peruvian with visa B1/B2 valid until 2020. I am travelling from Finland to Peru with stop (7h) in JFK. Do I need a permission as ESTA for EU citizens? Or is it my visa enough? Thank you!!

No, only citizens of Visa Waiver countries can do ESTA. You will transit the USA on your B1/B2 Visa.

Hi, I am flying from Boston to Paris (CDG) on Air France, and then from Paris to Venice on Easy Jet (also terminal 2b) with a 1.5-hour layover in Paris. Where do I go through customs and immigration and, if at CDG, do I have any issues with time or the fact that my tickets are with two different airlines?

Yes, in Paris you will have to go through Schengen passport control claim your bags, change terminals check them to EasyJet and go through security. You will have a very difficult time making that connection.

Dear all, we are going to Costa Rica in August, with a 3 hours top-over in Miami. As I saw, there are many things to do. Does anyone know if we will Need a visa for These three hours (we won't leave the Airport). Any comment appreciated.

3 hours isn't enough time to go anywhere. What country are you a citizen of and where are you flying from?

I am travelling from Frankfurt to Washington (IAD) with a connecting flight to Columbus OH. Is 2 hrs between flight enough to pass through security and immigration check (I have a fiancee visa, not a simple tourist visa which entails more documents to present)?

Yes, that should be enough time.
