ID'sMar 9, 201221i renewed my drivers license a few recently and the new picture ID hasn't come yet. I am flying from round trip Stewart to Kansas City MCI.I have a temporary license from NY state, my (6 days) expired picture license, my birth certificate and SS card. Do you think I will have a problem w/security? IS there someone I should talk to directly to make sure? We have planned this whole trip and have reservations, etc. I really don't want the fact I am carrying a temp license to mess up our trip.ditaposted on Thu, Mar 8[ Reply ][ Like ]The DMV is notoriously behind - take the temporary license with expired picture, a copy of your birth certificate & SS card, and you will be fine. To top it, you can take along a utility bill matching your name and address of your ticket.thmar12posted on Thu, Mar 81 person likes this post [ Like ]

Feb 22, 201222can my boyfriend travel from nyc to miami with just a identification id or does he need more things ?sindyposted on Tue, Feb 212 people like this post [ Like ]Hey, my girlfriend has the same exact question, I'm in NYC and I lost my Colombian passport ( I'm only a permanent resident) and need to travel soon enough and we were wondering the same thing. I have a S.S. and my Drivers Permit which it's technically a license because it has the same i.d. numbers on the license i've also previously lost. I just want to fly from NYC to Miama for 2 - 3 days or soJSR1765posted on Tue, Feb 21

Frankfurt - Newark - ClevelandFeb 14, 201210Hi, I'm arriving at EWR with a flight from Frankfurt operated by Continental Airlines for United AIrlines, at terminal B on Mar 28, flight UA0051. My final destination will be Cleveland, but EWR is an intermediate stop for change of aircraft. The flight to Cleveland has the same number UA0051. I have 2 hrs and 38 min between flights. Do I need to clear customs, and if so, re-check my bags? Is there enough time to do all that? Thank you!Ralucaposted on Tue, Feb 141. On arrival you need to go through passport check, pick up your bags, go through customs clearance and recheck-in your bags before proceeding to Terminal A via the Airtrain. At most this will take an hour, leaving you time for eating and/or shopping. The Airtrain stops in the center of the A gates.1039posted on Tue, Feb 14

Time needed clearing ustomsFeb 8, 201210I will be arriving LAX Sunday 22nd April QF15 6:40 with a flight then to ABQ on QF3007 at 10:05. Does this give me enough time to clear customs etc and get to my connecting flight? I am not a 'young' person anymore!JPposted on Tue, Feb 7The customs clearance (if you are an international arrival at the U.S.) takes no more than 30-45 mins. However, keep in mind that that the nine terminals at LAX are arranged in a U-shape, with the Tom Bradley Terminal ("TB or TBIT") being in the center, terminals 4-8 to the right and 3-1 to the left. All terminals are served by a shuttle which comes around every 12-15 mins and takes 2 mins for each stop - the LAX bus Route A, starts at TBIT, stopping at T4-T8, continuing on to T1, T2, T3 and back to TBIT. T5, 6 & 7 are connected by tunnel; T7 has a walkway to Satellite 8 and T6. T3 & T4 are connected in the secured area to TBIT. Where you land & transfer to depends on your airline: Look at your ticket for gate number: T1 has gates 1-14; T2 21-39; T3 has gated 2039; T4 gats 42-49; T5 50-69; T6 60-69; T7 70-77; T8 80-88; TBIT 101-123. Hope this helps.HH39posted on Wed, Feb 8

Feb 4, 201210we are looking at booking a trip to phoenix from regina with stop in denver - layover is 2 hours 12 minutes - Is this enough time to clear customs? Our other option is regina to calgary then denver - 55 minutes layover in denver - would we clear customs in calgary? Any advice would be appreciated.janiceposted on Fri, Feb 3Check if Regina has U.S. Customs clearance - Calgary does, that way you won't need to clear at Denver, saving you 30-45 mins. Also make sure your airline transfers your bags (if connecting to another airline). International arrivals without prior US customs clearance need to go through passport check, pick up bags, go through customs clearance and recheck-in their bags for connecting flight.1039posted on Sat, Feb 4
