Hi, i am flying from shanghai to cdg terminal 1, then an Air Canada flight connect me from cdg terminal 2A to YUL. If i have checked bag, do i need to go through passport control? Based on the information given on this website: http://easycdg.com/passenger-information/connecting-flight-connections-paris-cdg-airport/transfer-terminal-1/ It seems i don't need to go through passport control?
My 12 year old is travelling with a group including (2 non-parent chaperones) what can she use for ID
It depends on the airline and where she is travelling. From a TSA standpoint to travel domestically anyone under 18 doesn't need ID although its best for her to bring one if she has one (government or school issued ID card, passport, birth certificate- copy is fine, etc) as it can prevent delays in the event of a question about her age. To travel internationally she needs a valid passport and if applicable a visa. ID wise, airline rules mirror the TSA rules for the most part. In terms of her travel companions, the airline (or customs officials for international travel) may require a notarized letter or have an official form to be filled out by the parents or permanent guardian granting the child permission to travel with someone other than them. You would have to consult the airline or relevant immigration authorities to see if these or any other requirements apply in your case.
When I purchased my ticket on one of your airlines for my son who is 12 and me i wrote my sons nickname instead of his birth name can he get through security if his name dont match birth certificate name or do I have to call airline and change his name on ticket?
12 year olds don't need ID to go through security.
