does MDW still have the TSA lane for no carry-on/laptop only?

Not that I'm aware of - security at MDW is a mess.

I married this year but have not yet updated my drivers license. The last name on my ticket differs from the last name on my license. If I have my marriage license will I be ok?

    Yes, bring your marriage license.

My wife has a ticket that is booked under her nickname, Jodie, but her drivers licence indicates her legal name, Judith. Will TSA allow this?

Usually. You can call the airline and they can usually change it though in this case.

I'm traveling with my 2 children in a couple weeks (ages 4 and 9). First, do they need their birth certificate?, and second, my oldest does not have the same last name as me anymore, will that be a problem with security? If it will what documentation would I need to provide to prove I am his mother? We are traveling to Orlando on Delta.

No, if you are flying domestically, young children do not need any documentation. You do not need to prove anything regarding your children.
