You need to contact United's lost & Found department.

Can I leave secure area between connecting flights? ( I have three hours) I want to go to lobby area to see my new grandson before continuing my international flight

Yes you can leave the secured area at IAD, but you need to go through security check again when returning to your connecting flight. Make sure you allow for plenty of transfer time - On arrival, look at the overhead screens (and your ticket) to see which Concourse you will depart from (open www.ifly.com/iad - then click on Terminal Map, scroll down to see details.

I would like to know if there is a system like in JFK that I can leave my baggage at a storage at ROC on paid basis ??

As Rochester Airport is smaller airport, you may want to contact it at te. 585-753-7020 (fax 585-752-7008) ahead of time, or ask on arrival where you could leave your bag.

I am triing to spend time with my son who have not seen in 3 years who has a layover for 6 hrs but would like to be able to eat and talk there at the airport because we are not from around that area.

As you did not mention the name of the Airport / City, I suggest you open www.ifly.com - enter your airport - then select under Quick Links (left of the Airport name) "Flights & Airlines"; "Terminal Map" (scroll down for descriptions), and "Airport Services".

this is the worst choice of food I have ever seen in any airport. Bring the old restaurants over to the new terminal - I refuse to spend 1cent in your airport til things change

I agree - $15 for a mixed drink - really???? $11 for a turkey sandwich - are you kidding me???? A so-called Mexican restaurant with no nachos & $5 tacos???? $16 for seared ahi tuna which is the same price as downtown - who cares???? - can't ever recall seared ahi tuna being a must in an airport - especially in Sacramento. Starbucks employees not allowed to accept tips????? That is obviously not a job you can move out of your parents house on. Whomever is in charge of the food in this airport should be fired immediately!!!!! No wonder this state is a disaster and it all starts here in Sacramento........what a joke!

  • getting to Intl Gate on time

Will be arriving from Las Vegas on United Flight at 17:51 and United assures me that we can make it from arrival gate to the International departure of United to Frankfurt Germany that leaves at 18:30. Am worried we'll never make it. Anyone know how far domestic united terminal area is from the international united area? Thanks for suggestions,.

United uses international Terminal D (gates D1-12 - at Gates D13 is a connection to gates C14-24), and domestic Terminals TA (gates A1-30), TB (gates B60--88) & TC (gates C14-45. - Look at your ticket and on arrival at the overhead screens to find your departing gate. The above-ground TerminaLink train connects all terminals inside security. You have enough time, but hurry.

is thee a subway at ont airport

    ONT is near the San Bernardino Freeway (I-10), the Ontario Freeway (I-15), or the Pomona Freeway (SR 60); it is also 35 miles from Los Angeles. There is no subway. You may want to contact either of these transportation options: Foothill Transit (tel. 1.800.743.3463); Metro Bus and Rail (tel. 1.800.266.6883); Metrolink (tel. 1.800.371.5465);

We are leaving Terminal 1, 2 hours before our son is arriving. We would like to leave a car key for him to take the car home. Is there anywhere secure where we can do this?

LAN Capital Region Airport only has one small terminal - Leave key at the Information desk or - absent an information desk - ask security check personnel.

  • International arrival to domestic depart

We are flying by AA from the UK and transfer to an onward AA flight to Fort Lauderdale. If our baggage is routed to final destination, will we need to go through customs and passport check at ORD? Also if there is only 90 minutes between our flight landing and departure to FLL will we have enough time to transfer between terminals?

    1. You arrive at Terminal 5, Concourse M (gates M1-21) and depart from Terminal 3, which has Concourses G, H, K & L with corresponding gats (i.e., gate G21). 2. As an international arrival, you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in bag (the tag should indicate layover and final destination Airport Codes). This should take 35-45 mins. 4. After exiting the Federal Inspection and luggage re-check areas, proceed up one level to the Airport Transit System where you can easily connect to Terminal 3. The free A free ATS shuttle train running every few minutes can take you there. You have enough time.

Is there a full service U.S. Post Office in each terminal that is available to anyone? It seems to say there is but isn't too clear... it says there are Business Centers in each airline's lounge (but lounges are not available to everyone are they?) I have two things I'd like to ship but I don't know if I'll be able to. Help!

Where is the best place to drop him off and how to I alert the people at American Airlines that they need to meet us at the car with the wheelchair.

Look at the LGA map http://www.panynj.gov/airports/lga-airport-map.html - then click on Terminal B where you see the connection from the parking garage closest to Concourse D & its gates (which is for American Airlines - tel. 1-800-433-7300. Call your Airline.
