    My relatives are coming into SeaTac before heading on to Eugene. They have a 4 hour layover, and we would like to have dinner in the Airport, but it appears we must go through security first. Can I do that if I am not flying, but just want to have dinner with them?

    Unfortunately, non-ticket-holders are not allowed beyond security checkpoint. However, your party could meet you in the central terminal, pre-security, where there are a number of restaurants available. Of course, they would have to pass security on their way back.

    I paid $9.04 for a ready made roast beef sandwich at Gate B to take on the plane. The bun was dry/lettuce old and wilted/no mayo or mustard in it and the cheese flavorless. The beef was OK. Threw most of it away. Let the buyer beware.

    Is there an area before going thru security that has quality dining. I am flying in and have a 4 hr. layover. would like to meet a friend for lunch. Is there somewhere we can eat at the airport. I know I will have to go thru screening again.

    This is what I came up with at pre-security gate areas (of course it depends on at which terminal you need to eat): Charley's Steakery: C12; Philip's Seafood: D5; Sojouner Bar & Lounge: E29 & E9; Wolfgang Pick: A4, D31, B31; Sweet Water Brewhouse: B10; Houlihans: A25.

    My mother-in-law will be arriving at IAD from Amsterdam about 4hrs before our flight arrives from SFO. She will probably be in a wheel chair. Can anyone suggest a cafe or restaurant (outside security; she'll have collected her bag) where she can comfortably wait for us?

    Is there any place where I can buy diapers, wipes, and dishwashing soap (for cleaning bottles and pump) immediately upon arrival? I saw that a place called Mindworks sells things for "children" but didn't say what. Please help! Thanks.

    There is a Mindworks on the upper level of Terminal 5. As you don't state where you arrive, I suggest you ask any airport employee you can find (or even the next store or restaurant you see who should be able to point you in the right direction.

    I left my prescription glasses in a restaurant/bar in the East Terminal, Houston I.A.H.on Jan17th. I do not remember the name of the restaurant, but I remember that people could access it by either an elevator (to second level), or by a curved staircase. Can you please tell the name of the restaurant and possibly the phone number? ??

  • Bought merchandise& never received

    On 25th, november 2011 I bought some merchandise at Dufry , Houston Airport, on the international gates area. I paid cash for them and was told I would receive the goods at the gate. Even though I stayed for 3 hours at the airport, complayned several times, the Dufry Store never delivered them to me. When arrived in my country I wrote several e-mails to contactus@dufry.com, They said they would find a solutio, but up to now nothing!!!! It february 2012 and it happend on November 2011. It feels like a theft! They have my money, I sent the boarding pass, store receipt and answerd all the questions !!! Where is my merchandise?! Probably the Dufry Store is doing thesame wit lots of passengers and maybe making illegal profits with merchandise not delivered.

    OMG I just had the exact same problem with an employee of this gross restaurant except she was verbally abusive in telling to take my fat ass somewhere else. If she was a man, and I have my suspicions, I would have punched him. No room for this nonsense in an airport.
