40 minutes Connection timeDec 26, 201220Hi, I will arrive from Dayton, Ohio on the 28th Dec at 11.33am on United Express UA 5766. Then , I will have to catch a connecting flight to Singapore on UA 803 AT 12.20pm. I have only 40 minutes to go to my next flight. Can you tell me which terminals will I be using and advise me on the best way to go to the UA international terminal.Thank you.***posted on Mon, Dec 24Can's tell you ahead of time which gate you arrive at & depart from at IAD - United uses Midfield Concourses A, B, C & D with corresponding gates. On arrival, look at overhead screens to find your connecting flight and gate number; follow signs TO BAGGAGE CLAIM/ GROUND TRANSPORTATION - domestic arrivals at A, B or C gates should follow the AeroTrain sign. The train runs continuously from the main terminal to the center of each of the 3 midfield concourses A/B & C/D; D gates, however, are not served by the train, but by a shuttle bus departing at Main Terminal & A gates (at A6) and arriving between D15-21 & D9-11. Also C gates C1-30 are connected by walkway to D gates D1-32. Either way, 40 mins transfer time will suffice. For more information, open www.ifly.com/iad - then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text.tudec12posted on Tue, Dec 25

McDonaldDec 15, 201220Mcdonalds Terminal 1: Starving and rushed for my plane I ordered a chicken sandwich combo before boarding at Gate 14. The manager gazed at me from the fryer and said to me "please be patient the fry's aren't done yet". I said no problem may I have my sweet tea while I wait... certainly he said... After a few minutes the fries were done and I was all set... I quickly asked if I could get my tea topped off before I go as I had finished almost half while waiting and he smiled and said... So sorry... we don't do refills! I tried to share my concern but it fell on deaf ears - didn't have time to wait so I glared as Dr. devilish as I could and thanked him, and told him that its obvious how much he loves his job!No Refills!posted on Tue, Dec 4

California Pizza Kitchen ASAPDec 4, 201200The California Pizza Kitchen at the Sacramento Airport had terrible service. I ordered my meal and waited about 30 minutes. I enquired of the server about my meal. She had to resubmit my order to the kitchen. When it came out it was not correct. I gave the server a meal voucher with my credit card to pay the difference of the meal after the voucher. When she came back from the cash register, she informed me because the meal was wrong and late she did not charge my credit card. She would take the voucher for the full price of the meal. She not only took my voucher, but she charged my credit card for the full amount of the meal. I tried to contact the restaurant with no success. They do not have a phone number or email address listed. Even when I called directly to the airport and they connected me to the restaurants phone, there was no answer and no voice message available. I was very disappointed that the Sacramento International Airport would allow such an unresponsable restaurant to be allowed to take advantage of passengers.LLHposted on Tue, Dec 4

Watch! Sports Lounge and GrillNov 28, 201210For the first time in my life I left no tip. After being served poor quality food and a glass of iced tea I waited over an hour and was not asked or offered anything else, even a simple refill on my tea. I had to get up and go ask for a check. The male server was the absolute worst ever.Jwsposted on Wed, Nov 28

Conference callNov 24, 201210I have to make an important conference call two hours before my international flight from JFK and was wondering if anybody knows of a business center at JFK where I would have acess to a landline or alternatively a hotel nearby. THanksRocposted on Fri, Nov 23Unfortunately, JFK site does not list business services - see http://www.panynj.gov/airports/jfk-shops-restaurants-services.html - then click on each terminal & go down to "Services"; They do have airline lounges - but don't name them: located at T1 (4 on Concourse level, 3 on Mezzanine level); T3 - near gate 12; T4 - 2 on departures level; T8 - post-security, near entrance to Concourse B. Alternatively: Call the Ramada Plaza (building 144) tel. 718-995-9000).sanov12posted on Sat, Nov 24
