I am departuring from JFK airport terminal 4. However, I will like to purchase a bottle of Absolut Amber which is only available at JFK airport terminal 8's duty free zone. How can I go about in purchasing the item? Apprciate any help.

  • International arrival - restaurants and customs

I'll be arriving at JFK from Johannesburg (Terminal 4) 3hours before my husband's flight gets in. Would like to share car service home with him and don't mind waiting, but will need to pick up luggage at baggage claim. Will I need to exit secure area to do this or will I be able to collect my bags and relax at a post-security restaurant while I wait, then go through customs later? (I know there is a food court pre-security, but I would rather wait at a "sit down" restaurant). Any other ideas for comfortable waiting is appreciated.

  • Retrieving luggage and eating

Can I retrieve my bags and then find places to eat without going back through security?

Yes you can - security screening is only at Concourses A & B. Most restaurants are on level 2, but a snack bar is close to the baggage area on ground level.

My wife Dipti Bhakare was travelling by Jet airways counter no 8 at 11 pm on 9/9/13 and during security check her credit cards were robbed by the security personnel. Want to take strict action against this security guard with the video camera footage. Very unreliable airport security and poor airport management. C/c sent to DGP of police, airport security and media.

    Aug 3, 2013
Is there any flower shop in the airport upon arrival flight? I'm planning to get flowers for my girlfriend when I arrive from California.

    E-mail IAH info@fly2houston.com - state which terminal you arrive at (A,B,C,D or E ??)

  • Can 8yo. travel by herself?
    Jul 28, 2013
We'll be using Singapore Airline to send our 8yo. daughter to Australia from NY JF Kennedy by herself. What's the next step I need to do to make sure everything is going smooth?

At JFK, when checking in, ask the attendant at the Singapore airline counter for a 'non-flying boarding pass' enabling you to accompany her to the gate. Singapore Airline uses Terminal 4 whose concourse level has A2-A6 at left & gates B20-31 at right. To make sure, you may want to inquire at the Australian embassy whether you will need a passport and/or Visa for her (as is now required in Europe).

You also need to make sure she is flying as an unaccompanied minor. An 8 year old cannot travel alone who is not registered as an unaccompanied minor.

  • Fabulously Fresh

Fabulously Fresh in Terminal A: The only vegetarian option offered in Terminal A is a wrap at this place and it is always soggy and falls apart upon opening the box. Does anyone there actually eat what they sell? Rhetorical question, obviously, because if they did, they would know that they are failing to offer customers healthy food that is also edible in the conditions of an airport. Super frustrating!!! The Euro Cafe in the middle is no better. They place all the food under the register so anyone that wants to buy it has to wait until someone is pushing them to pay -- no time to see options and select anything before getting to the register. Very few vegetarian options, and the entire process just to buy something is almost not worth bothering. If it weren't for my frequent, distant trips, I would never buy anything. Both these businesses are examples of poorly run operations, offering customers less than acceptable service, and products as inidicia of decision makers who don't understand customers even remotely. I seriously HATE vendors in Terminal A at DCA, and the only positive thing I can say is that I'm glad there is something, even if completely frustrating time after time after time.....

  • Shopping between terminal
    Jul 15, 2013
My flight will be departing from terminal 1. Is it possible to check in at terminal 1 first and then go to terminal 2 for a shopping? how much time should i need to prepare for traveling between terminal?

While Terminal 1 at CDG represents one building, the Terminal 2 complex of de Gaulle Airport consists of six passenger terminals (T2A-T2F & two satellite concourses /referred to as 'Halls' L & M. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/cdg and click on 'Terminal Map', then scroll down to the extensive details.
