  • Can a local nonflyer eat w/me?

I have a 2 hour layover in CLT and a friend wanted to come see me for dinner, but I cannot tell if any airport food/restaurants are available for us outside of security (ticketed) checkpoints. help?

2 hours probably isn't enough time anyway, unless maybe your friend wanted to pick up some carry-out and you eat it in the check-in area.

Hi - does anyone know if you can purchase Duty Free goods at LAX when you land? Basically duty free on arrival as opposed to departure.

    No, you can't.

I'm flying in via US Airways and departing via Cape Air. Do I have to leave the security zone to get to the USO?

STL has two terminals - T1 & T2. The USO lounge is located in Terminal 1, lower level, to the left of the baggage carousels, next to the Post Office - meaning, yes you need to go through security check if you continue your journey. (If connecting flight is in T2, take the free shuttle bus outside.

I was very disappointed when I called to inquire if I could order food over the phone for a friend staying at the airport and the reply I received was "sorry can't do it bye bye" and then was hung up on.

This is not Pizza Hut's website.

I'm flying in this May 2013 and was hoping to purchase a navigator Garmin brand. Do you have it in your shop?

This website is not associated with any shop - nobody from the particular shop will read this.

I have been here twice and both times I experienced horrible customer service. If I didn't need nail polish, I would have never gone in there. This time the woman "helping" me was on the phone the entire time. For whatever reason, my credit card was not working, so instead of getting off the phone to explain, she decided to do hand motions to relay the message to me. POOR customer service! I will do without the nail polish next time.

Can I purchase alchohol in the duty free store, after security, and take it on the plane with me. Flying Air Tahiti Nui to Tahiti. Will it be delivered to the plane or do I take it with me on the plane?

Yes, you get to take after-security duty free purchases with you.

I am a Canadian flying from LA to Vancouver, then onto Regina. The AIR CANADA agent told me I could not buy duty free licquer because my luggage was being checked through to Regina and I would not be able to carry the licquer onto the plane from Van to Regina. I told her that the normal procedure is to pick up your luggage in Van and then go through customs where you can then place your liquer into your checked luggage. ( she was rude when I suggested she had it wrong). Based what she said we did no buy the licquer. When we arrived in Van. a AC agent said we had to pick up our luggage. We said it was going straight through to Regina and he said no. He also told us that the AC agents in LA have been told on numerous occasions that they have it wrong. He said there a lot of people coming from Hawaii, Australia etc. to LA and are being told the wrong information and therfore missing out on duty free liquer.
