  • A seven hour connection
    Sep 10, 2014
Is 7 hours just way too much for a connection at DFW (I mean as far as restaurants, lounges and other services are concerned)? I either have to pick flights with connections that are too short and stressful or ones that have long connection times at DFW. So how bad could it be? Both flights would be with American Airlines btw. Thanks!

DFW has a lot of restaurants and the skytrain allows you to visit all five terminals without leaving security. If I were to be stuck at a US airport for 7 hours DFW wouldn't be a bad choice.

I experienced the rudist bar tender ever. We waited aproxiamately 15 minutes for a drink then ordered another drink and was given the bill before we even got the drinks. When my husband questioned it the bartender began yelling at him. She stated she had to take care of the people that were leaving when we watched her serve others in the bar that were obviously sitting down just drinking. We were at a table. Very poor service and very rude. I fly through ac all the time and i will never recommend this place to anyone

Stopped at DD on 8/28/14 @ 10am for coffee. The 3 employees working were very fast, pleasant and accurate with orders. Great job!

One of the slowest fast food restaurants I've been to (store gates 1-12). My husbans and I stood in line for 25 minutes. Only had two people running the floor and employees had attitudes (I'm sure it's because they had no help).

This weekend, I had the great pleasure of eating at Humpy's and my server En-En was so welcoming towards my son and I. Her hospitality was impeccable, and after learning that our flight was delayed 8 hours, her kindness was very refreshing. Being in the airport business myself, it was good to know that there were exceptionally kind people working here. If you are in the area, I highly recommend this restaurant and my server! You won't be disappointed. -Javier Vega

Food market restaurant has good food but takes FOREVER. We ordered 3 burgers and pasta and it took 28 minutes to get our food. They had no to go boxes. We nearly missed our flight. Total cost of meal = nearly 100 euros.

I have a 2 1/2 hour layover in MIA and want to buy a camera, does anyone know if there is a camera shop in the airport? Or are they something that is sold in duty free?

Ridiculous prices in a bar called Chills for a beer. Just a little Budweiser cost me about 9 dollars. Even in expensive Europe is the price much cheaper!!

Beers in all airports in the US are very expensive.

  • Restaurants before security in Terminal 1

Are there any restaurants before security for someone to eat breakfast? Meeting a friend with a long layover and do not want to leave airport.

Hon, don't think Dickey's is real Texas BBQ. It isn't. If you've just gotta have one last rib for the road, well, don'tsay I didn't warn you! At best, it's 2 star fare.

  • Whats to buy, eat shop for in Term. 5
    Aug 3, 2014
I have never flown out of FCO but from what I have read online Term 5 is a box to hold outgoing American bound flights.. With nothing to offer .. Is this true and where can I spend the last of my euros before going to Term 5.. ie Term 3 or something..

After you go through formalities in Terminal 5 they bus you to the Terminal 3 satellite. There are shops there.

  • Simply Good

Simply good at Stavanger airport, you better dont pay in Euro's it will cost you more then when you pay with NOK, 59 NOK will cost you 9 euro!! Exchange rate = 1 euro = 8.3 NOK so you will pay 2 euro more for only one coke and one sausage roll RIP OFF!

  • Food and drink available without going through security
    Sep 25, 2014
Is there anywhere on the arrivals level of any of T's 6,5,4, or TBIT that sells soft drinks? The starbucks I found in T5 didn't have soft drinks.

The TBIT lobby just has one level - you could walk into the food court in the TBIT.

    Thanks again ZAP!

Is the foodcourt in TBIT on the departures or arrivals level?

Just as ZAP said there is a food court with a variety of restaurants, and stores on the arrivals level of TBIT. It's a great place to pick up something if you aren't ready to go through security for your flight!
