Arrive JFK - AER LINGUS 20JUN @ 1:15pm - Will I arrived on T4? Departing JFK - 20JUN @ 4:29pm - Will I depart from T7? Is there enough time to get from T4 to T7? Do I have to clear customs and go through TSA?

What airline are you flying to Phoenix?

I fly AER LINGUS from Dublin to JFK and then US AIRWAYS from JFK to PHX.

Watch out for the fat mexican bartender...he has worked there for 25 years and if you complain to him about your terible experences going through security he will call security on you. He is one of those guys that uses the power given to him by airport security to fuck people up for no reason He worked on 5-21-13 at 2pm...WATCH OUT FOR HIM

  • Non-traveler wanting to shop
    May 15, 2013
I saw some items in a giftshop the last time I was travelling at Hobby Airport in Houston. Is it possible, even though I will not be travelling and will not have a ticket/boarding pass, for me to visit any of the gift shops or businesses within the airport? Thanks

Unless they're outside security no, you won't be able to shop there.

  • My son has a stopover .. can I meet him?
    May 6, 2013
My son has a 4 hour stopover tomorrow evening in Terminal 4. Ideally, I want to be able to meet him and have dinner together before he gets on his next flight. I'm just wondering if this is possible. I'm assuming that I won't be allowed to pass through security and go in without a ticket. If he comes out through security, are there any terminals where we can go sit down and eat without needing a ticket?

While the bulk of restaurants/bars are located in the secured areas of the JFK terminals, there are some available at pre-security. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/jfk, then click on "Airport Information", top left and on "Restaurants, Bars & Shops". Then click on any of the terminals and you find restaurants, etc. after shops (with details and map where to find them. (From Terminal to Terminal, take the 'Airline Terminals Train' serving pre-security areas.

Managers curse in front of customers & curse out employees openly. Very unprofessional. Manager claimed all the food was "fresh" it was clearly being taken out of bags & was frozen. LIAR!

  • Status of Delta Terminala C
    Apr 23, 2013
We will be leaving out of Delta Terminal C on Sunday. I'm judging the terminal from the departure point for our flight the last few days. It's a Delta Connection flight. What's the status of renovations at Terminal C. I think they're largely completed at Terminal D, but what about Terminal C? Thanks!

Delta Terminals C & D will be connected by a 650-foot bridge at post-security. Work is already in progress; when finished, passengers will be able to make quick connections. Furthermore, Terminal D's Sky Club will be expanded. Both terminals C & D will receive expanded security lanes.

What's the correct status of Terminal C as a location to wait for flights - which might be a long time on Sunday afternoon! Thanks

Sorry, what's the CURRENT status of Terminal C?

  • Can a local nonflyer eat w/me?
    Apr 22, 2013
I have a 2 hour layover in CLT and a friend wanted to come see me for dinner, but I cannot tell if any airport food/restaurants are available for us outside of security (ticketed) checkpoints. help?

2 hours probably isn't enough time anyway, unless maybe your friend wanted to pick up some carry-out and you eat it in the check-in area.
