Hello! :) I'm arriving at Dallas airport on Dec. 27 from MIAMI on american airlines (1437) and boarding to go to SAVANNAH in 2 hours and 25 minutes on ENVOY AIR AS AMERICAN EAGLE(3351) and I'll have to do the check in again (with american eagle) and dispatch my bags too. So, Which terminal will I disembark? Which terminal will I embark to go to Savannah? And about the check in, where can I do it? Are there places in the terminal or near to there? Thank you very very much!

We are planning to book a flight on Ethiopian airlines that transits through FCO. We arrive and depart on the same plane with the same flight number. There is a 1 hour lay over. Will we have to go out and back through security or just stay in the boarding area?

You will just stay in the boarding area.

On December 15 I will arrive to IAH from Amsterdam, connecting to Mexico City. My flight from Amsterdam arrives to Houston at 1:35 PM and my next flight departs for Mexico City at 4:10 PM, having 2 hr 35 min to connect. Is that enough time? Thanks!

That should be plenty of time.

My sister is flying from El Salvador to Atlanta. She has a connecting flight in Miami. I am uncertain about where to pick her up as it's an international flight. However, she will go through customs and board a different plane in Miami which makes me wonder if she should be picked up at the domestic terminal. Thanks in advance!

If she is flying American, which if she is connecting in Miami she probably is, you will pick her up at the domestic terminal,

    Thank you so much!! :)

  • 1 hr 45 min US Air to Ethiopian Airlines

I arrive at 8:45 AM on US Air. I will not check my luggage on either flight. My Ethiopian Airlines flight is at 10:30 AM. Is this enough time? These are 2 separate flights, not connecting flights. EA says to arrive 4 hrs before the flight. This US Air flight is the only one available unless I leave the night before. Thanks

It will be difficult. Since you can't check in for your Ethiopian flight online you will have to exit security to go to the Ethiopian counter, which may be closed by that time. I would fly in the night before if you have already purchased the Ethiopian flight.

International arrival at terminal 7 on Alaska airline and then have a connecting flight in 2 hours on Cathy Pacific. How do I manage? please help. My flight is tomorrow.Guadalajara to LA on Alaska airline and LA to Hongkong on Cathay pacific. Only 2 hours in between the flights.

Well, you'll arrive, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, then take your bags to the International Terminal to check with Cathay. You won't have much time to spare/.

Hi! I arrive at Dallas from Buenos Aires at 7.40am and my connection to San Francisco leaves at 8.40am on a Friday. I'm travelling with American Airlines. Will that be enough time?

No, that's totally not enough time! You need to change your reservation.

My flight lands in MIA from PLS(Turks and Caicos) at 5:20PM. We depart at 7:30 on a US Airways operated flight out of terminal E. We are flying on Sunday November 30th, one of the busiest travel days of the year coming at the end of Thanksgiving Weekend. I also heard that this was one of the busiest times to go through immigration. is that correct? Will 2 hours 10 minutes suffice? Will we be in any kind of a rush, and will we have time to grab a bite to eat? Any info would be helpful.

My wife and I are flying into and out of SFO with an hour and ten minute layover. We are changing carriers from United to US Airways, and likely changing terminals. Will we have enough time to make the connecting flight?

Also we are flying Friday the day after thanksgiving

It's probably enough time. Not a lot to spare.

Hi, i have a flight from Montreal to Rio de Janeiro with a stop in Atlanta. My connection between the flight is 1h20. Do i have enough time to make it? Do i need to pick up my luggage and go to the custom? THanks

You will pre-clear US Immigration and customs in Montreal. All you have to do in Atlanta is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

Hi, I will be flying from Toronto to Korea, connecting in Chicago (ORD) then in Toyko (NRT). I will be taking United airline (but different aircrafts) all throughout the flight so I can safely assume that I won't need to recheck my luggage in each of the connecting city. 1) Do I need to go through customs at ORD? 2) I have a layover time of 1 hour. will i have enough time to catch the next UA aircraft? 3) Do I need to get a boarding pass at ORD and NRT (I ordered the ticket from the unitedairline website)? 4) Which terminals do I need to go through at ORD? 5) Do you know if I just need to go through the security check at NRT?

You will ore-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto, all you have to do in Chicago is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. United should issue all your boarding passes for your entire trip in Toronto. You will arrive in Terminal 1 or 2 and depart from Terminal 1. 1 and 2 are connected by a walkway inside security. You will not have to go through security in ORD.
