GETTING TO OUR TERMINAL WITH 2 TODDLERSFeb 6, 201210Hi We're about to book the following flight. Any idea if we can make it to our terminal on time in Chicago? Springfield (SGF) Depart 6:36 pm to Chicago (ORD) Arrive 8:12 pm Terminal 2 438 mi Duration: 1hr 36mn UA Flight: 5983 Operated by: /UNITED EXPRESS/EXPRESSJET AIRLINES -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chicago (ORD) Depart 8:50 pm Terminal 1 to Munich (MUC) Arrive 12:30 pm +1 day Terminal 2 4,530 mi (7,290 km) Duration: 8hr 40mn LH Flight: 435 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------HANDANposted on Mon, Feb 61. Domestic flights of United & United Express are in Terminal 2, while international departures of United are in Terminal 1. T2 has E & F gates; T1 has B & C gates - Concourse B connects by walkway at its center to Concourse C (your ticket will show your gate numbers). DO WATCH THE OVERHEAD SCEENS ON ARRIVAL AT ORD FOR YOUR DEPARTING FLIGHT & GATE! 2. To get from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 you have two alternatives: (a) Walking from T2 to T1 -Note that all gate areas of all terminals are not connected, but the secured area of the Departures level, has, right after you walk from gate F8 past gate F1, at right end a connector to T1. At T1 you will arrive again in the secured area, where you should proceed to closeby gate B6, walk past gate B8 (at right), take walkway to C gates, turn left to gate C15. (b) taking the ATS train within the secured area, running its loop around the terminals counter-clockwise, with the last stop being T1 - you have only one stop. Even with 2 toddlers you should be able to make it to your gate between 8:12 & 8:50pm. However, if your incoming plane is late, you will have a very tight schedule.MUCposted on Mon, Feb 6

Feb 6, 201210i land in terminal 2 and have 1 hour to make flight in terminal 4 , how do i get there pleasecanadianposted on Sun, Feb 5Terminal 2 and Terminal 4 are divided by the parking garages in the middle. You need to exit T2 and board the LAX bus Route A on lower arrival level island (in front of each terminal), under sign 'LAX shuttle airline connection', which runs every 12-15 mins. Your next stops will be T3, TBIT, T4 - 3 stops taking about 7 mins.1039posted on Mon, Feb 6

Providence, RI to Rome, ItalyFeb 5, 201211Considering buying tickets but they only allow 40 minutes on United for gate transfer (no gate, concourse info available yet). Seems terribly short. Just how "makeable is this?"dusterposted on Sun, Feb 51 person likes this post [ Like ]1. United serves Concourses A (gates A1-32), Concourse C(gates C30-17, with a walkway to C14-1 and Concourse D (gates D1-29) Note, however, that currently only the A & C gates are connected in their center by the underground Aerotrain, making its continuous loop, while the D gates are served by a shuttle mobile lounge. Yes you can make it on time if you know where to go. Your ticket will indictate your arrival/departure, i.e., gate A30, C20, etc.).HH39posted on Sun, Feb 5

making a connectionFeb 5, 201210We arrive on flight 471 United, and depart flight 1131 United.. we have a 50 minute connection time, is this enough and what terminals do we arrive and depart from?NPHposted on Sat, Feb 41. You need to look at your ticket for your gate number: United serves both Terminals C & E. C gates are C14-24 & C29-45; E gates are E12-24 & E1-11. (Always check flight screens on arrival for departing gates & time). If arriving at gates C29-45 & transferring to Terminal E: walk towards gates C14-24 & proceed straight on to Terminal E. the above-ground TerminaLink train connects all terminals inside security. 2. NOTE - If you happen to be an international arrival you will be processed at the international arrivals building, part of Terminal E, where you will go through customs & take the escalator down to Baggage Claim Level 1. From there go through Exit Control and enter to the right the baggage recheck area, and straight out arrive at the International Arrivals Lobby which has an escalator down to the Inter-terminal train serving Terminals A, B & C - allowing for a very tight schedule.1039posted on Sun, Feb 5

Feb 4, 201212Landing Mcnamara terminal from Nagoya Japan going to immigration port of entry...from there going to terminal south to catch up Delta to Atlanta, how long it takes?***posted on Sat, Feb 4Detroit Metro Airport has 2 passenger terminals - the McNamara & the North Terminal (the latter is at a different location). You arrive & depart from McNamara - which has Concourses & corresponding gates A, B, & C, - Delta also serves this terminal at Concourse A, which has gates A1-38 and A40-75 on either side. On arrival you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and re-check-in bags (making sure at Nagoya that your airline will transfer bags - not all airlines do). Count on 30-45 mins for immigration procedures; add another 20 mins to connecting to next gate. NOTE: Concourse A uses, aside from 1.5 miles of moving walkways, the Express Tram serving the South station near gate A11, the Terminal station in the center near the water feature, and the North station near gate A67.HH39posted on Sat, Feb 42 people like this post [ Like ]

Feb 8, 201220arriving US airways departing E25 - how long is the walk between the furthest gate on concourse B to concourse E25?***posted on Fri, Feb 31. The Departures level of the main terminal has in the center the Atrium, a ticketing & departures area with 4 security checkpoints, and access from the ticketing area or Atrium to the concourses (counterclockwise): Concourse A to the left; Concourse B southwest; Concourse C southeast; Concourse D to the right; and Concourse E northeast. B gates are B1-16, E gates are gates E1-9, and the gateway divides to the right to gates E10-19, and to the left to gates E20-26. Follow signs - it all depends on how quickly you walk.HH39posted on Fri, Feb 3
