Hi, I will go to London at Jun 13. But I have no idea connection information in JFK's terminals. I think I approximately have 2h 05min for connection, and my tickets are separate. Is that sufficient for boarding at T8?

  • Do I have enough time for this connection?

I am arriving at SFO from Auckland, NZ and have exactly three hours to make my connecting flight to Washington DC. Arriving on Air New Zealand, connecting to Virgin America. I have never been to SFO before, and am concerned about the time it takes to get through customs, retrieve baggage and then make it to check in with Virgin America. Can anyone give me an idea of the flow coming off an international flight, and perhaps the quickest way to get to Virgin's terminal, or any other tips/tricks for making this a smooth process? Thanks!

You will arrive in the international terminal , go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, then take the AirTrain to Terminal 2, check your bags with Virgin America and go through security. You should have enough time.

I arrive at terminal 6 and must connect to another airline in terminal 1, 1 hour later. If I have only carry on luggage, and walk from 6 to 1, do I have enough time to make my connecting flight?

Barely, assuming your first flight is online and you check in online for your southwest flight before you leave on your first flight.

I am traveling from OAK-SEA-PEK, with alaska and hainan airlines. I found that alaska airlines is at north gate and hainan is at south gate. How much time do I need to transfer and do I need to claim my checked bag?

You need about 45 minutes to an hour. No, if you purchased your tickets together you don't have to claim your bag.

Hi, I would like to know if we have to pass security or any check point when we have a flight transfer between Terminal I and S in Hartsfield Jackson (ATL) ?

Can you post where you are coming from and going to so I can help you better? Like where are you flying into Atlanta from and where are you going?

I will be traveling with several suitcases, arriving the American Airlines terminal and needing to take the bags to Virgin Atlantic's terminal for an evening flight. Will I be allowed to take the Smarte Cart between terminals?

Yes, you can push the cart between Terminals.

I arrive on United at 7.10pm in terminal 1 - need to claim baggage and then check in for the 8.30 Emirates flight to Dubai in terminal 5. Is this enough time? can I check in the baggage at terminal 1?

No, you will need to bring the bags to Terminal 5. You will barely have enough time if your first flight is on-time. The Emirates check-in desk closes 1 hour before departure, so you only have 20 minutes to arrive, get your bags, and take the ATS Train to Terminal 5. If you can get an earlier flight to Chicago I highly recommend it.

I am flying with United Airlines from Ireland to Las Vegas with a stopover in Newark. I will have checked in luggage. I am then getting a Southwest flight to San Diego from Las Vegas. How do I do this ?

You will arrive in Terminal C and claim your bags. Then take your bags on the AirTrain to Terminal A and re-check your bags, get your Southwest boarding pass, and go through security. You can check-in online for your Southwest flight before leaving Ireland and I highly recommend doing so.

Hello - I am arriving on Air France from Nice on Monday 27 April. I arrive at 8:45am and depart via American Airlines for JFK at 11am. The tickets were purchased separately and I am not checking luggage. Will this give me enough time and how do I transfer between the terminals? Thank you!

Yes, that should be enough time. You will arrive in Terminal 2F and depart from Terminal 2A. Just follow signs to 2A.
