Arriving on a Saturday. Should we take a bus or light rail to downtown?? Where would we catch it fro Terminal 4

These are your present options: A free shuttle bus connects to the 44th Street and Washington Street METRO light rail stop from all three Airport terminals. These buses which also accommodate baggage, are silver & black, showing a 'METRO Light Rail & Airport Terminals' display, and running daily tailored to the light rail schedule. Or you can take bus Routes 13, 15 & 40 to the City. The SuperShuttle runs 24/7 on a schedule and vans leave every 15 minutes, 9am-9pm. Van terminal access is at Terminal 2--north curbside; Terminal 3--north & south curbside; and Terminal 4--level 1, north and south curbside.

I am arriving on flight AA2793 from SFD (Sioux Falls, SD). I depart for Dubai on flight DK222. What terminal will I arrive at? And what terminal will I leave from? My final destination is Dhaka Bangladesh on flight EK221....can my bags be checked all the way through from Sioux Falls, SD?

    1. Prior to arriving at SFD research your airlines for their rules on transferring bags to another airline's departure flight - not all airlines do (in which case you would need to retrieve your bag on arrival & re-check it in at connecting terminal, if connection is not in same terminal. 2. At SFD, make sure your bags are tagged for all stopovers and end destination. 3. You need to look at your ticket to see which gate you arrive at/depart from. American & American Eagle are in Terminals A (gates A13-34; TB (gates B9-31) & TC (C8-32). You depart from SFD at either TD (gates D6-40, or TE (gates E2-38). If arriving at any of gates C1-C32, you can walk to the area of the D40 gate. 3. All gate areas are divided by the Skylink station in the center, which is an elevated train.

  • Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 transfer

I am considering booking a flight that arrives at terminal 2 (domestic) connects with a flight that departs (to Europe) from terminal 1. The time between flights is 1h 15min. I am concerned that if I need to go through security, that this is not sufficient amount of time. I am not very familiar with JFK, can any of you who let me know? Thank you

    1. Note that each time you leave the unsecured (post-security) area of the terminal you are in, or the terminal you are going to, you need to go through security again. Only passengers arriving at the U.S. need to go through passport check, pick up bags, go through customs clearance & then re-check-in their bag if connecting to another flight. 2. On arrival at T2 take the Airtrain located outside of the Arrivals area to T1 where it arrives at the Arrivals level outside in the center. The Airtrain comes around on average every 8 mins.

How do I request assistance from one gate to another?

It is best to make this request when ordering the flight ticket; however, you can also alert the flight attendant onboard the plane that you will need assistance to your gate.

Can you tell which terminal the airline Spirit uses?

Spirit airlines is in Terminal 6. (the u-shaped 9 terminals at LAX have the Bradley terminal in the center, T3-T1 to the left and T4-T8 to the right.

my daughter is arriving on us air and needs to change to continental international to Copenhagen. What is the best way to go to another concourse

She will arrive at Terminal A and depart from Terminal C. She needs to take the Airtrain stopping close to gateway A2 (near gate 28 to Terminal C, where it stops at gateway C1, near gate C71. The train only takes a few minutes for each stop.

  • HOW TO GET TO BAGGAGE FOR UNITED AIRLINE

where do I go to pick up my baggage from terminal 7 United Airlines, and then the fast route to get to Tom Bradley international

    1. Only if United does not transfer your bags to your connecting airline flight, will you have to pick up your bag (ask when checking in your bag, and have bags properly tagged for stopover at LAX & end destination). If you need to take your bag along: on arrival at T7 follow signs down to the Arrivals / baggage claim level, claim your bag, then proceed to Bradley and re-check bag in there at the proper airline counter. 2. In either case you need to exit your arrivals terminal 7, and take the LAX bus Route A on lower arrival level island (in front of each terminal), under sign 'LAX shuttle airline connection', which runs every 12-15 mins. Your next stop will be T8, over to T1, T2, T3 & Bradley - 5 stops or 12 mins.

Anyone know how long it would take to get off Terminal 1 and get to International Terminal G? I have one hour to switch from Frontier to ANA. I think we should walk it.

At T1 take the red-line Airtrain to Boarding Gate G - just follow signs.

Hello, i am slightly concered about our connecting flights. We are unsure of the terminals aswell. We arrive in LAX from Heathrow at 1344 and we need to make a connecting flight to Las Vegas at 1516, do you think we will make this flight?X

    1. LAX has nine passenger terminals, arranged in a U-shape around parking facilities: 'TBIT' or Tom Bradley International Terminal is at the inside curve; T3, T2 & T1 on one side, and T4 - T8 are on the opposite side. All terminals are served by a shuttle - the LAX bus Route A, starting at TBIT stopping at T4-T8, continuing on to T1, T2, T3 and back to TBIT; it comes around every 12-15 mins and takes about 2.5 mins for each stop. Note that T5, 6 & 7 are also connected by a tunnel and that T7 has a walkway to T8 & T6. 2. An an international arrival you need to go through passport control, pick up your bags, go through customs clearance and then re-check-in your bag (30-45 mins) before proceeding to your connecting terminal. Most likely, you arrive at TBIT (or TB). Look at your ticket - to see the departure & arrivals gate: T1 - gates 1-14, T2 21-39; T4 42-49, T5 50-69; T6 60-69; T7 7-77; T8 80-88; TBIT 101-123.

I am scheduled to arrive at terminal 2 via Air Canada, with connection to Honolulu via United on Terminal 8. Will I have to retrieve my luggage and check back in. If so, how long will I need and I assume the shuttle is the most appropriate means

    1. I presume you arrive from a Canadian Airport with U.S. customs clearance, saving you time at LAX. 2. Unfortunately, Terminal 2 is on the opposite side of T8, with the parking garages in between. You could walk to the other side, however, it's not a straight walk - passing two garage buildings, arriving at T7 and walking over to T8. As LAX's terminals are arranged in a U-shape, served by the LAX bus Route A on lower arrival level island (in front of each terminal), under sign 'LAX shuttle airline connection', and running every 12-15 mins, your next stops would be T3, TBIT, T4,5,6,7,8 - 9 stops or about 22 mins. At T8 you need to go through security again. 3. As to baggage transfer - make sure your bags are properly tagged with stopover and end destination and when checking in ask if Air Canada forwards bags to United flight - most airlines do.

what gate does Quantas flight 0008 leave from on Jan 20 at 10:00

Qantas serves Terminal D, which has gates D6-40 and is served by the Skylink which stops at D1, 20, D25 & D34. Your ticket (and the overhead screens in the Airport) will tell you which gate.

I arrive at terminal 5 at 1708 from Ireland and have to take a connecting flight departing at 1915 from terminal 1. will I have enough time to make my connecting flight? Do I have to collect bags or can they be checked all the way through to my final destination.

    1. As an international arrival you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and re-check-in your bag (the tag should indicate layover and final destination.) NOTE: not all airlines transfer to connecting flights of another airline - check with your airline in Ireland - if not, you need to take your bags along to T1 and re-check them in there. Count on 45 mins. 2. After exiting the Federal Inspection and luggage re-check areas, proceed up one level to the Airport Transit System where you can take the ATS train to T1, probably another 15-20 mins to your gate. You have plenty of time.

  • Paris - Washington - Los Angeles

HI, I will go Los Angeles from Paris but I must layover at the Washington Airport. So, how I find and the change the terminal or gate to take the plan domestic ? Thanks for you advice. TIROL.

You will first arrive from Paris at IAD (Dulles Airport), where you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and re-check-in bag (the tag should indicate layover and final destination Airport Codes). Make sure in Paris that your bags are being transferred by your departing airline to the connecting airline at IAH - not all airlines do - in which case you would have to take your bag over to the connecting terminal and check it in there. Note that all international arrivals at IAH are transported to the west end of the terminal for customs clearance. Thereafter, take the AeroTrain to the concourse of your connecting flight. Look at your ticket to see which gate you depart from (i.e, if it says gate Z4 - it's in Concourse Z, gate 4, same for Concourses A, B, & C & D.
