salonFeb 3, 201200We have roughly an 8 hour layover. We arrive Terminal 3, depart Terminal 5. The information on the website says there is a salon somewhere in the airport. Feb 8, 201220arriving US airways departing E25 - how long is the walk between the furthest gate on concourse B to concourse E25?***posted on Fri, Feb 31. The Departures level of the main terminal has in the center the Atrium, a ticketing & departures area with 4 security checkpoints, and access from the ticketing area or Atrium to the concourses (counterclockwise): Concourse A to the left; Concourse B southwest; Concourse C southeast; Concourse D to the right; and Concourse E northeast. B gates are B1-16, E gates are gates E1-9, and the gateway divides to the right to gates E10-19, and to the left to gates E20-26. Dulles airport has a main terminal with connecting Z gates and Midfield Concourses A/B & C/D. 2. United serves Concourse A, which has gates A1-A6, the AeroTrain in the center, & gates A15-32. It serves also the C & D gates: C gates C30-17, a C14-1 reached from there by walkway; D gates D1-29. 3. Look at your ticket which gate you arrive and depart from. 4. Only gates A1-32, B35-79& C1-30 are served by the Aerotrain (underground); D gates D1-31 are only served by a mobile shuttle. - Follow signs. Continental uses Terminals A, B, C & E. International Connecting with DomesticFeb 5, 201221I have a friend who is going to take UA flight 878 from Shanghai to LAX (arrive at Terminal 7) and then connecting via UA flight 6202 (departing in T8 ? Not for sure) to Sacramento. The total transition time is only 1 hour 20 minutes. Friend needs to pick up the luggage and then go through the custom inspection. Where can the luggage be dropped off for flight 6202 without going out of security check point? What will be the departure terminal for flight 6202? Upon arrival from Shanghai at LAX your friend needs to go through passport control, pick up bags, go through customs clearance & then re-check-in bags - follow signs (this will take 30-45 mins). 2. Terminals 7 and 8 are connected by walkway - your friend needs to exit T7 and at T8 go through security check before proceeding to his gates - T8 has gates 80-88.
