Terminal 8 to 2Dec 27, 201120I've got 100 mins to go from United in Terminal 8 to Air New Zealand in Terminal 2. Should I wait for the shuttle or is it faster to walk if that is possible. Thx.RHposted on Mon, Dec 26[ Reply ][ Like ]After T8, Terminals 1, 2 & 3 are on the opposite side. You cannot walk over, but need to take the LAX bus Route A on lower arrival level island (stopping in front of each terminal), under sign 'LAX shuttle airline connection', which runs every 12-15 mins. Your next stop will be Terminal 1, then 2 - about a 5 minutes' ride. At T2 you need to go through security again and on to your gate.HH39posted on Mon, Dec 26

Terminal 4 to Terminal 6Dec 26, 201110We arrive at 5pm to Terminal 6, leave at 10:00. We have a membership to the American Admirals Club and were wondering if we would have time to get to it. It's in Terminal 4.nuevomexposted on Mon, Dec 26Presuming you arrive on a domestic flight (International arrivals procedure takes 30-60mins) you first concern should be the time the Admirals Club opens (call American at 800-433-7300. This Club is located close to the TSA security check across from gate 40 - meaning you need to go at T4 through security check and present your boarding pass to TSA check there. Add the time of commuting and going through security check TSA check again at T6. You may be able to walk between T6 & T4 (they both are on the same side). If not, you need to take the blue-marked LAX bus route A on lower arrivals level island in front of TBIT, under sign "LAX Shuttle Airline Connection", which runs every 12-15 mins and takes at most 3 mins between terminals. Problem is the bus departs Bradley Terminal, moves to T4-8, over to T1-3. Taking it from T6 to T4 would be a long ride.MUCposted on Mon, Dec 26

How can I meet my friend at Domestic arrDec 26, 201121Hello, I am flying Air NZ from Auckland to LA and my friend flying Qantas from Honolulu to LA. I am at terminal 2 and she is Terminal 4. Tour guide says will pick us at luggage claim area for domestic flight. The problem is I am flying international flight. How can I transfer from international arrival to domestic arrival to meet my friend?? can I walk to the terminal 4 to see her ?? she doesn't need go through the passport check etc but i do. Thank you very much.Pollyposted on Mon, Dec 261 person likes this post [ Like ]You or your friend need to check with the tour guide a which terminal's baggage claim area he is meeting and exactly where. Upon your arrival count on spending 30-60 mins going through passport control, pick up luggage & go through customs clearance. Terminals 4 and 2 are on opposite sides. One of you will have to take the LAX bus Route A on lower arrival level island (in front of each terminal), under sign 'LAX shuttle airline connection', which runs every 12-15 mins. The Bus starts at TBIT, goes on to T4-T8 goes around to T1-T3 and back to TBIT. From T4 to T2 it's 6 stops - 15 mins. transfer time.HH39posted on Mon, Dec 26

connection timeDec 25, 201130I need to make a connection from international (from Munich with Lufthansa) to domestic (Louisville, KY) in EWR with a 2 hour layover. I arrive into EWR at 6.30pm, and I believe I have to go through immigration, take baggage, clear customs, re-check baggage, hop on an AirTran (from B to A, I believe), and clear security. Can I do this in only 2h?Jazzyposted on Sun, Dec 25You did your homework! Count on about 45 mins to 1 hr for international arrivals procedure at this time of the year, just to be sure. International flights arrive at Terminal B. Look at your ticket to see which gate you depart from (i.e. B40, C75) The Airtrain station at Terminals A & B are on the Concourse level, at post-security. You will be re-checking in your bag at pre-security and need to go through security check again for Airtrain, which arrives at the following Terminals & their gates: TA close to gateway A1; TC at upper level's center. Terminal C is strictly for Continental Airways with three gateways C1 has gates C70-99; C2 has gates C101A-115A-B; and C3 has gates C12-130. Either way, you have plenty of time.HH39posted on Sun, Dec 25Thank you so much for this detailed reply. I should have mentioned that my flight will be in mid-August 2012. I just bought it today and thought the connection time might be too tight. I am also a green card holder so immigration might take longer for me than for US-citizens. Do you think any of these two factors might affect my ability to make the connection? Also, does Newark implement the "express connection" program for passengers on delayed flights likely to miss their connections?Jazzyposted on Sun, Dec 25Thank you so much for this detailed reply. is this possibleDec 25, 201111On Jan 3rd I am flying US Air 2791from Grand Junction to Phoenix, I land at 8.23pm, at 8.50pm my connection to Anchorage AK takes off, Can I make this connection and will the boarding gate be in the same terminal?Limeyposted on Sat, Dec 241 person likes this post [ Like ]US Airways comes in on Terminal 4; AK is Air Asia, which is not listed - might it be AS (Alaska Airlines) which uses Terminal 2? You need to exit T4 to catch the shuttle bus at the curb, running every 7-10 mins, & making a stop at the economy parking lots.HH39posted on Sun, Dec 25

how do you get from terminal d to bDec 24, 201110leaving dayton, ohio on a plane delayed 5 1/2 hours. can i get from d21 to b8 for a flight that leaves 40 mins after I am supposed to arrive?madposted on Sat, Dec 24As you arrive at the International Terminal, I presume you are an international arrival, in which case you need to (unless gone through US customs clearance by participating airport) go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance, then re-check-in your bags, which should indicate final destination. This procedure takes 30-45 mins (being Xmas time the lines may be long). You absolutely need to be the first person getting off the plane, running to passport control. After completing your re-check-in of bags take the Skylink. If you don't need to observe these formalities, you can pick up the Skylink train near gate D20, to Terminal B, running every 2 mins and taking at most 5 mis. If you needed to go through international arrivals procedure you are in the non-secured area after re-checking in your bag, and need to take the free "Terminal Link blue & green vans outside the baggage claim , running every 10 mins. to Terminal B.1039posted on Sat, Dec 24

i need a easy directionJan 4, 201221me n my mom are going to Pakistan by PIA,BUT my mom come from Regina, and iam in Toronto, how i first receive my mom with my heavy luggage too,at terminal 3 and then go again terminal 3 for departure for Pakistan, terminals are same but how i handle heavy luggage and direction between arrival and departurebushra gposted on Thu, Dec 22Your mother will check in her luggage at Regina Airport - at counter she should make sure that her airline will transfer her luggage at YYZ to the connecting flight to Pakistan, indicating transfer on tags. You need not worry about your bags as you will check them in at YYZ's departure level (if they are overweight, you need to pay additional fees on top of the fees per bag. Thereafter proceed to your departure lounge in front of your departing gate where your mother should be waiting. This is the Level 2 departure layout: Concourse B with gates B8 to B23 has, close to gate B12, a tunnel to gates A2 to A6, and an elevator & escalator near gate B20 down to gates A2 to A6. Concourse C with gates C25 to C41 has a food court. The Departures level also has a service counter where you might want to meet. ATM machines & Currency exchange, Information counters, security screening, Canada, U.S. & International checkins are on all levels of both Terminals.HH39posted on Fri, Dec 23

Domestic to International Gate ChangeJan 26, 201220I'm flying on American Airlines (domestic flight) and getting a connecting flight to Europe - how much time should I plan for gate changes (likely going from what terminals)? Will I have to be going through security twice if changing between terminals?KeithWposted on Wed, Dec 21If your flight to Europe is also on American Airlines, you arrive and depart from Terminal 3. However, this terminal has Concourses G, H, K & L with corresponding gates (K1-K20, H3-18, G1-21 & G13-17 on the lower level of the concourse). Look at your ticket to see which gate you depart from. On arrival, look at the overhead screen and find your flight, with departure time and gate. Then follow signs to your gate. No security check necessary.1039posted on Thu, Dec 22

Connecting time 1:01 hrDec 21, 201110Hi i am arriving EWR from PIT at 7:36 PM from continental domestic Air line 4911 and i have connecting international flight to DEL at 8:37PM of Continental 0082 will i able to make it?Pankajposted on Wed, Dec 211. Delta is in Terminal B, while Continental is in Terminal C. You catch the Airtrain close to gateway B2, which takes you to the upper level's center, post-security of Terminal C - the Airtrain makes its continuous rounds and takes only minutes between terminals. On arrival at Terminal C: gate area has three gate areas: C1 (Y-shaped) gates C70-75, C80-88 & C90-99 on each side; gate area C2 has gates C101A-115A-B (15 gates); gate area C3 has gates C12-130. Look at your ticket to see which gate you depart from; also check overhead screens for your departure flight.1039posted on Wed, Dec 21
