We are flying from Atlanta to Chicago on American Airlines and then on Iberius from Chicago to Madrid. Do we have to claim our luggage and re check in?

No, your bags should be checked through to Madrid in Atlanta and both your arrival gate and your departure gate will be in Terminal 3. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

  • Connection through Denver

I will be arriving from Salt Lake City (Utah) on flight LH 9405 (operated by United) and departing for Frankfurt (Germany) on LH 447 for a final destination to Mumbai (India). I will have approximately 90 minutes connection time between the flights at Denver International Airport. I will be travelling on a business class ticket. My questions are 1. Considering that I will arrive at concourse B and leave from concourse A, will I have to go through security screening? If yes, shall I get a priority screening? 2. Will my check in luggage be booked through to my final destination and I will not have to re-check it at Denver International Airport? Thanks in advance for your help.

Concourses A and B are connected inside security by an underground train. Your bags will be checked through to Mumbai in SLC. All you have to do in Denver is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

where is the tram located zbetween gate A and gate G?

There is no tram between A and G. The Tran runs between A and D. There is however, a walkway inside security that runs across the airport from an area near C12-13 to G17. If you need to go between A and G, that's the way to go.

Is 80 minutes enough to transfer from FLL on United to BRU on Brussels Airlines? Thanks

If both tickets are bought together, then yes that should be enough time. United should be able to check your bags through to Brussels in FLL and all you have to do in IAD is take the Mobile Lounge or Aerotrain from C/D where you will arrive to B where you will depart.

  • Las Vegas -> Chicago -> Frankfurt

On 28th of June I'm flying Lufthansa at 16.05 from Chicago (Terminal 1) to Frankfurt. In order to catch this flight I was planning to fly from Las Vegas to Chicago with Spirit Airlines NK446, which lands in Chicago at 14.05 (I assume Terminal 3). Both flights are separate (CHI - FRA is already booked, LAS-CHI not yet). So I'll need to land, claim for baggage, go to another Terminal, drop the baggage. Is it do-able in 2 hours? (Lufthansa says that Checkin is possible up to 60min before the flight). Thank you!

It's possible in 2 hours, but if you miss your connection due to a delay on your Spirit flight, Lufthansa will be of no obligation to rebook you and you may have to spend the night in Chicago. However, since you already purchased the CHI-FRA flight, the Spirit flight may still be your best option.

  • Air Canada to Air Canada connection times

July 4th connecting in Chicago from Air Canada 3221 to Air Canada 7402 (arriving in ORD at 12:45 pm, departing at 1:20 pm). Is this enough time ?

Note that your first flight is a United Express flight. Your United Express flight will likely arrive in Terminal 2, but it may arrive in Terminal 1. Air Canada 7402 will depart from Terminal 2. Terminals 1 and 2 are connected inside security by a walkway. You should have enough time if your first flight is on-time.

  • Going from T5 to T1

I will be flying from TPA to JFK via JetBlue. Then taking a flight from JFK to Istanbul via Turkish Airlines. The tickets for the entire flight will be purchased together so I believe the luggage will continue to IST without me having to pick it up at JFK. My question is, which Terminal Train will I take to T1? And once I get there, what needs to be done? Will I already have my boarding pass to IST from when I departed Tampa (Jet Blue) or will I have to go to the ticket counter at Terminal 1 and then go through security again? I will have 2 1/2 hours to get from T5 to T1. Thanks.

There's just one train that runs both ways around the loop. Just board the one that the signs say is going towards T1. JetBlue will probably be able to issue your Turkish boarding pass but you may have to stop at their ticket counter if they can't. You should have enough time.

I have a trip planned to Aruba with a connecting flight at EWR. We arrive at EWR from Chicago Ohare at 10:07am and depart for Aruba at 11:19am. Is a 1 hour 12 minute layover enough time to make that connection? I'm only bringing carry on luggage so I won't have to worry about checking anything. Thanks.

Yes, that should be enough time if your first flight is on-time. Note that EWR will be a mess of delays for most of this summer due to construction though.

Hello, we will be flying with US Airways from Dallas DFW to Paris CDG with flight connection at Charlotte CLT.. Will we have to pick up our bags and check them in again ? The fisrt plane is supposed to arrive at 3:32 and the second one to leave at 4:45 ; is it enough ? Thank you for your answers

No, on your way to Paris you won't have to do anything with your baggage in Charlotte. All you will have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You should have plenty of time.

    Thank you ZAP

I will arrive on AirTran and will have 45 min to get to Southwest connection. (Domestic flight) Are the terminals close to each other? If not how do I get to Southwest. Also I booked with Southwest, do I have to pay baggage fees on AirTran?

If you booked with Southwest you do not have to pay baggage fees on Airtran. All the AirTran and Southwest gates at ATL are on the same concourse. You should have enough time if your first flight is on-time.

Is 50 minutes enough time to go from Ottawa, Canada to Dulles going through customs? I have a connecting flight to Pittsburgh within that 50 mintue time span and not sure how long customs will tage.

You will pre-clear US Immigration in Ottawa. You will not have to go through customs at IAD. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You should have enough time.

Mia flight leaves at 10:55am and arriving at ord at 1:15pm on aa. Will I have enough time to catch my flight to duss at 3:55 on aa?

Terminal3 of O'Hare Airport is served by American's domestic flights & its international departures. T3 has Concourses G, H ,K & L (with corresponding gates) - just follow signs to your connecting concourse. You have plenty of time.

    Thank you!

My fiance will be arriving to the Frankfurt airport through Qatar Airways, then he has 2 hours and 20 minutes to make it to his next flight which is operated by US airways in another terminal. Will he be able to make it to his next flight and what will he have to do in order to make it to his next flight such as security, customs, etc.? He wont have any baggage to check in at that point. Thank you

Yes that will be enough time for transfer. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/fra, click on 'Terminal Map' under 'QUICK LINKS', and scroll down to the detailed text.

I dont think you will make it, especially with Terminal 2 being such a mess, transfering via Skyline and US airways one of the worst airlines (thank god they are gone soon). FRA transits are only manageable within T1.
