parkingDec 10, 201110Is there a cell phone lot at LGA?sallyposted on Sat, Dec 10[ Reply ][ Like ]Passenger Drop-off/ Pick-up: Terminal frontages are only for loading/unloading - unattended cars will be towed at owner's expense. (There is no cell-phone lot available). Other Parking Options at LGA: 1. Metered Parking is available at the Marine Air Terminal (2-hr limit) 2. Baggage Claim areasDec 8, 201110I have guests arriving on both Delta and United. Does this mean I have two different baggage claim areas to meet my guests?Bag Clamposted on Thu, Dec 81. Indeed Delta is in the McNamara Terminal and United in the North Terminal. 2. A shuttle bus circles the terminal area and runs between the McNamara and North Terminals (7 mins). 3. Another option would be for you to use one of the free Cell Phone Waiting Lots located near the Airport entrances from I-94 and I-275--stay with your car until your party calls you to be picked up at the curb. The passenger bridge on the upper level leads to parking and ground transportation center.HH39posted on Thu, Dec 8

IAD UA0974 to CO0130Dec 8, 201110My daughter arriving separately on UA0952 and we both have 1 hr to catch CO0130 to Paris. What terminals will we need to go connect with?kkkcposted on Wed, Dec 7You arrive and depart from mid-field concourses A/B & C/D (separate buildings) with corresponding gates. Continental alone is at B gates (B35-79; both United & Continental are at C & D gates (C1-30 & D1-29). You need to look at your tickets to see which gates you arrive/depart from. If you need to get to another gate area, you need to take the underground Aerotrain, making a continuous loop, but does not serve the D gates, If you need to get to the D gates D1-31 a mobile lounge shuttle will take you there. An hour is tight but you can make it.HH39posted on Thu, Dec 8

Wait time Delta LAXDec 7, 201102Delta LAX TSA wait time was almost 1 hour after we checked in our baggage Aug 2011 and many missed their flight. I travel 2-3 times a year and the wait time is progressively getting worse because I feel they are understaffed and or TSA screening lines protocol is not efficient for such a large airport.JKJKJKposted on Wed, Dec 72 people like this post [ Like ]

international flightDec 8, 201110My daughter will be flying in from Costa Rica. After she clears customs can she go directly to connect with her next flight or is she outside of security and have to stand in line again? She has 3 hours!!kelbearposted on Wed, Dec 7She has plenty of time. Depending on the airline she uses on her next flight, note that all secured areas are connected by the free Skylink trains running every 2 minutes and taking an average of five minutes. The Skylink starts in the International Terminal D at gates D1, D20, D25 & D34. You can walk past gate D40 to gates C1-C32; past gate A39 is a walkway to gates C1-39; near gate B2 is a walkway to gates D1-40 and to gates A1-39; past gate C2 is a walkway to gates A1-39; Terminal E has no connecting walkway. She needs to look at her ticket to see what gate she will depart from.1039posted on Thu, Dec 8

Virginia Regional Transport to JetBlueDec 7, 201110Hi there. We will be arriving to IAD via the VA Regional Transport bus system, which (I believe) will drop us off at Curb 2E at the main terminal. Our outbound flight will be on JetBlue Airways. What exactly would we do to get from the bus stop to JetBlue gates (which are at Terminal B)? Thank you!NJBposted on Tue, Dec 6You will be dropped off at the Main Terminal, where you check in. Midfield Concourses A & B are in a separate building, connected in the center by the underground AeroTrain; however, the A gates can also can be reached on foot via walkway from the Main Terminal (follow signs). The B gates are B35-51 and B63-79, with the AirTrain station in the center.HH39posted on Wed, Dec 7

time for connection?Dec 6, 201120If I'm arriving from Baltimore for a connecting flight to Lima, Peru (on united operated by continental) will 30 minutes be enough time to make the connection. Hopefully it's all in terminal C. Thanks for any info.rvnposted on Mon, Dec 5IAH does not disclose the gate area on the Baltimore flight. Continental uses all three domestic terminals A, B & C - United is also using C. You need to look at your ticket to see which terminal you arrive at: Terminal A gates are A1-30; B gates are B60-88; C gates are C14-45. Your departure on Continental is in Terminal E which has on one side gates E12-24 and on opposite side E1-11. If arriving at gates C29-45, walk towards gates C14-24 & proceeds straight on to Terminal E. Otherwise take the above-ground TerminaLink train connecting all terminals inside security and making its continuous round. Hurry!HH39posted on Tue, Dec 6
