I am making connection from ottawa to johannesburgn through Dulles but it is NOT on same reservation. How much time to make connection to SAA without it being too stressful?

I would leave at least 2 hours, preferably a little more just to be safe.

  • Connection from CUN to SFO

My wife and I will land on 11/5 at 5:13pm from Cancun with a 1hr 45min layover before departing for SFO. Both flights are on Delta. Will we have enough time and do we have to travel between concourses? Thanks!

Yes, you should have enough time. You will arrive in concourse E or F where you will go to the lower level, clear US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, then re-check your bags with Delta, then you will go through security and take the Plane Train to your departure concourse.

  • From STL to EWR with United and from EWR to DUS with Lufthansa

I am flying from St.Louis to Newark with United Airlines (arriving in Terminal C) and then fly (from Terminal B) with Lufthansa from Newark to Dusseldorf. When I check in in St.Louis, will I get my boarding passes for the second flight with Lufthansa as well? The tickets were purchased at the same time, so I guess my luggage will be checked straight through to Dusseldorf, so, with 2 hours 33 minutes at EWR, I have enough time to get from Terminal C to Terminal B?

Yes, your bags will be checked through to DUS and you will get both boarding passes in STL. Note that you may arrive in Terminal A at EWR. You should have plenty of time.

Hi! We are an Italian party (18 teenagers+ 2 teachers). We're flying with Delta from Venice to Seattle next April. We'll have checked bags. We have 2 hours 10 min. for the connection. Is that enough time for immigration, clear customs and move from T4 to T2 ?

Yes, that should be enough time. Note that Delta flights to Seattle leave from T4, so you won't have to change terminals.

  • Will I make this Dublin flight?

Wondering if it looks possible to make this connection? From Den to ORD, change planes (assuming terminal 5) in 1 hr, 20 min to get on flight to Dublin

Yes that should be enough time. If your flight to Dublin is on Aer Lingus it will leave from T5. If it is on American it will leave from T3.

  • change planes from AC to UA with 45 minute layover - will I make it?

Hi flying from Toronto on AC and transferring to UA at Ohare then continuing on to Fort Lauderdale. I only have a 45 minute layover at Ohare. Will I make my connection from AC to UA in time?

Yes, that should be enough time if your first flight is on-time. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. T2 where you arrive is connected to T1 where you will depart inside security by a walkway.

I'm arriving on United from DFW at 12:33 and I have 41 mins to connect on United to POS Trinidad the flight leaves at 1:14. Is 41 mins enough time to connect with a 3 yr old?

41 minutes should be enough time but it leaves very little spare time in the case of delays.

Landing@ IAD 20:40 and connection takes off at 21:55 is that suffecient for going through immigration control? ( EU cititzin) both flights are United

You do not go through US Immigration when leaving the US. All you have to do in IAD is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have plenty of time.

Yes, he will be outside security when he exits customs in T5. You could meet him there and accompany him to the entrance of security in T3.

  • Cancun to PHX connection

We have an 1:30 layover arriving from Cancun to PHX on Saturday after Thanksgiving, both flights are US Airways, arrival 7:36 p.m. do we have enough time to clear Customs, gather our bags, recheck, then make our connection? I know this is busy season so I am a little concerned. We are a family of 5 in the middle of the plane. Thank you for your advice.

Saturday after Thanksgiving shouldn't be too bad and Phoenix doesn't have many international flights. You should be OK.

Thank you! Definitely don't want to end our vacation in a stressful situation. Appreciate you taking the time to respond. Enjoy the day.

I arrive in terminal C at 9:15 and depart at 9:45 terminal D... Will that be enough time?

Yes, it's possible, the SkyLink train connects all terminals inside security. However, it leaves virtually no time to spare in case of delays.
