terminal 8 to 4Nov 17, 201117Leaving LAX arriving JFK terminal 8, connecting to terminal 4 to TLV. Where do we do immigration how do we transfer between terminals?Rodneyposted on Wed, Nov 167 people like this post [ Like ]1. Only international arrivals (US or foreign citizens) need to undergo immigration procedure. From T8 to T4 take the elevated AirTrain serving the post-security areas of all terminals, with a continuous loop taking minutes from T to T. T4 has Concourses A (gates A2-7) and B (gates B20-30) - look at your ticket for gate or find your gate number on the overhead screens).HH39posted on Thu, Nov 17

UnitedNov 17, 201110Hi there, I am arriving on United flight from Sydney and have two hours to clear customs and make a domestic flight to DC. Is there time? And how? :)***posted on Wed, Nov 161. United' international flights are in Terminal 6 - your departure depends on which Airline you use (T1 has gates 1-14 served by Southwest, US Airways; T2 has has 21-39, T3 30-39; T4 42-49; T5 50-69; T6 60-69; T7 70-77; T8 80-88 - look at your Ticket for gate number. 2. Unless you have gone through US customs clearance by participating airports in Canada, Caribbean, etc., you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in bag (the tag should indicate layover and final destination Airport Codes). Count on 30-45 minutes. 3. To transfer to another terminal, you need to exit T6 and take the LAX bus Route A on lower arrival level island in front of each terminal, under sign 'LAX shuttle airline connection', which runs every 12-15 mins. Your next stops are T7,8,1,2,3,TB,T4,T5, each stops takes about 2 mins.MUCposted on Thu, Nov 17

Delta shuttleNov 16, 201110Terminal A (The Marine Air Terminal) presently serves Delta Shuttle airline, with gates 1-6. Its round-shaped Departure building connects to the Arrivals building leading to gates. (Past security check are two baggage claims, followed by gates 1 through 6)1039posted on Wed, Nov 16

DisappointedFeb 9, 201232SMF was one of the quickest, most convenient airports because the terminal was small and efficient. I was off the plane and out of the terminal in 3 minutes, and on my way to rent a car. Now, however, it's added 15 minutes to my trip out of the terminal, and 15-30 minutes on return, depending on the lines for security. I'll be looking at other airports from now on (Oakland, Fresno, etc.).Jetwayposted on Tue, Nov 151 person likes this post [ Like ]I agree. The new security in terminal B is nightmarish and takes way too long to get through.Debposted on Tue, Nov 22I agree that terminal B has slowed things down compared to the old setup, but alternate airports, gimme a break. The traffic and headache of going to OAK or SFO isn't worth it for me.kevinposted on Thu, Feb 91 person likes this post [ Like ]

wait timesNov 15, 201100Terminal 3 security, even for first class, has been horrible since Continental moved in with UAL. In 4 of my 5 most recent trips, wait has been > 20 min. in the "elite" line. It was so bad last time, I got into the "regular" line at the Continental side of the terminal.mbtposted on Tue, Nov 15

United airlines //Qatar connectionNov 17, 201130I have one hour to get from my United Airlines flight arriving from Toronto to connect to my Wshington - Doha flight. What terminal will I arrive & depart from and is this enough times???TA22posted on Mon, Nov 14One hour transfer is sufficient (use abovground TermiaLink connecting inside security. Note that United uses several gate areas; which Airline to Doha? This may help: A & B gates: The A gates (KLM Saudi Arabian, TACA, United, AirFrance, Continental, United, Korean, Virgin Atlantic) has gates A1-A6 ; AeroTrain in center, and Gates A15-32. B Gates (Lufthansa, JetBlue, Virgin America, American, Continental, Delta, SAS, Austrian, British, Southwest, JetBlue, Virgin America), has gates B35-51 and B63-79,with AeroTrain in the center. C & D gates: The C gates, (United, Continental) have gates C30-17, divided from the remaining C gates C14-1 by a walkway; the D gates, (United, Continental), presently not served by Aerotrain but by shuttle bus, have gates D1-29; the shuttle to main Terminal & A gates leaves between gates D15-21 and D9-11.1039posted on Tue, Nov 15Here are more details - WE will be arriving on United 5859 on nov19 and departing on Qatar air 52 on Nov 19 departs 945pm ...... which is my best route to make sure I make my flightTA22posted on Tue, Nov 15

change flightsNov 15, 201110I arrive on Continental flt. 1035 at 2:30 PM and do not yet know the arrival gate, I depart in one hour at 3:30 and I believe it leaves from Terminal A. Is that enough time to make the connection and how do I get from the arrival gate to the departure gate in Terminal A without going through security again?mariposted on Mon, Nov 14Continental uses domestic Terminals A, B, C and international Terminal TE. Use the above-ground TerminaLink train inside security to connect to your next flight. When arriving, look at the screen to find your connecting gate number. A gates are A1-30; B gates are 60-88; C gates are C14-45 and E-gates are E1-45. NOTE: If arriving at gates C29-45 and transferring to E gates, walk towards gates C14-24 and proceed straight on to TE.MUCposted on Tue, Nov 15

Terminal 7 to 4 - enough timeNov 14, 201120Hi there, I'm flying in to terminal 7 on a United flight - at least I think that's the correct terminal - arriving at 8.15pm and I need to be on a QF leaving at 11.25pm. Will I have enough time to get my bag off the domestic United flight then check it + clear immigration for the Qantas flight from terminal 4?redposted on Mon, Nov 141. United Express serves both terminals 7 and 8 (look at your ticket for gate number - T7 has gates 70-77; T8 has gates 80-88. As only T5, 6 & 7 are connected by tunnel, you need to exit your domestic terminal and catch the LAX bus Route A on lower arrival level island in front of each terminal, under sign 'LAX shuttle airline connection', which runs every 12-15 mins. (T8 to T4 - 4 stops - about 10 mins. 2. Only international arrivals (US and foreign citizens) need to go through customs clearance. When checking in your bags at your original Airport, make sure your bags are properly tagged to your end destination.HH39posted on Mon, Nov 14on 11/28 will be arriving at lax on American Eagle (partner w/Alaska) then connecting to Alaska flight to Cabo San Lucas. How long does it take to get from TerminNov 14, 201112How long does it take to get from terminal 5 to terminal 1***posted on Mon, Nov 142 people like this post [ Like ]You arrive at the International Terminal - note that all international arrivals need to go through passport check, pick up their bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in their bags - that takes on average 30 mins. A level below the Federal inspection is the ATS level which houses the ATS shuttle train running every few minutes between the terminals. At T1 you arrive in the secured area where you should proceed to closeby gate B6, or walk past gate B8 at right to take walkway to C gates, or turn left to C15 gate. (look at your ticket for gate number).1039posted on Mon, Nov 14
