I have a layover of 1.5 hours. I'm not checking a bag. Is that enough time to get from terminal 3 to terminal 5?

What airline are you flying to LHR? If you're flying British Airways then yes, that is enough time. You can take the ATS Train but you have to go through security in T5, or you can take the British Airways shuttle bus which runs inside security but infrequently.

Hi, Delta is noting only a 1 hr 10 min connection is legal for customs and to get to the next flight in LAX -DL 16 cnx DL 80 to ATL - is customs really that quick? I have waited that long for my luggage in other airports.

No, that is insufficient. You need at least 90 minutes.

I will flying from SCE to CDG with a 1h30 min layover in PHL. Both flights are on US airways. When I arrive at PHL, I have to connect from Terminal F to Terminal A. Will I have to claim my checked bag and then re-check it for my connecting flight?

No, you will not have to claim your bags. You only need to take the shuttle bus from Terminal F to Terminal A and board your flight.

  • Connection Times London-Tampa via Atlanta 1.5 hrs

Hello, we are travelling from London to Atlanta with KLM into terminal 1 arriving 17.28 then departing for Tampa with Delta at 18.55 from Terminal S. Is this enough time. Also for the return journey - from Tampa to Atlanta with Delta arriving 20.29 terminal S then departing with KLM at 21.31 from terminal 1. Is this possible - it will be the holidays. Thank you.

Atlanta does not have a Terminal 1 and in fact you do not have to change terminals at all. On your trip to Tampa you will arrive in concourse E or F, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, then re-check your bags at the transfer desk, then go through security and then take the Plane Train to your departure concourse. 87 minutes will be very difficult to make that transfer. On the return trip you only need to take the Plane Train from your arrival concourse to concourse E or F where your flight to London will depart. 1 hr is enough time there. Also, note that Delta will fly all of your flights. KLM doesn't fly from London to Atlanta.

  • 50 minute connection time arriving from Edmonton,AB

We would arrive AC4243 from Edmonton,Alberta (YEG) and have 50 minutes until our connection AC5385 to SNA. Is this enough time for a family of 6? Do we need to collect baggage and go through customs first?

Note that both flights will be operated by United. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Edmonton. All you have to do in Denver is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. Both on the B Concourse. You have enough time.

Flying with Delta, one ticket purchased, we have 1 hour to change planes at Atlanta airport, GATE B22 domestic term S. do we go thru security again? and do we need to collect our checked bags and recheck them on second flight? thank u

You do not need to collect your bags or go through security. The Plane Train connects all concourses inside security. You have enough time.

Hi, I will be travelling From Vancouver To Cancun via DFW on a Sunday arriving around noon.Is a 57 minute layover enough time to change planes (same carrier,AA), and will I have to re-claim my bags in Dallas?

You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. You will not have to claim your bags in Dallas. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You should have enough time. The SkyLink train connects all terminals inside security.

Hello, We are flying to Toronto from Key West via Miami. I believe we arrive at terminal D and leave from terminal F. Our bags will be checked through. Will we have clear security or can we get between terminals without doing that? Many thanks!

All American and American Eagle gates are connected inside security. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, no security.

  • Transfer in JFK

Hi, I would like to know if I have enough time for my transit because I'll arrive in JFK at 12:45pm with AA (from London) and i should take a United flight to SFO at 3:30pm. Almost it's 2 separated book and the terminal is respectfully T8 and T7. Thanks for your answer

Without checked luggage, that's an easy connection. With checked luggage you will have to transfer it yourself from T8 to T7 and re-check it. It's possible but more difficult.

Hi. Got revised itinerary from AC and my 1hr25m connection is now down to 57 minutes. Arriving from Lihue on UA into T3. Departing on AC from International Term. It looks like the walk is not too long, but do we have to go thru security? Good news is that it is late at night, bad news is my party includes 3 small kids. Is this connection feasible even if inbound flight is on time? Thx!

Some Air Canada flights depart from the side of the International Terminal that doesn't require going through security and some do. You should still have enough time if your flight is on-time.

Thanks for this. Last night's flight to YYZ went from gate G91 which I guess - based on its proximity to terminal 3 - would be a gate that would not require me to go through security?

    Correct.

Hello, I arrive in Rome (Terminal 1) with Singapore Airlines at 07:50 and due to fly out of Rome to Split, Croatia on Vueling at 10:05. Will this be enough time to clear immigrations, get luggage and make the flight? Are both Vueling and Singapore Airlines in Terminal 1? Thanks

No, both airlines are in Terminal 3. You will have a hard time making that connection since they are two separate tickets.

SFO to CDG... changing planes in Newark early April... am I correct that my bags will be checked thru to final destination and that I do not have to go thru security again ?

sorry I should have said I am flying United...

Yes, assuming you bought both flights together your bags will be transferred and you only have to walk between your arrival gate and your departure gate.
