Hello! I'm flying from San Antonio and arriving in IAH at 735 at terminal B gate 8, my connecting flight to BWI leaves at 805. Will a half an hour give me enough time to get to my connecting flight?? I'm worried it wont be considering this airport is huge.

It doesn't leave much time to spare but it should be enough time. The TerminaLink train connects all terminals inside security.

Coming from BJX Mexico on to JAX Florida is 1hr 25mins enough time to go through customs & connect to JAX flight ?

It is 5 minutes below the minimum connection time for such a connection but you will probably be OK.

My domestic flight with Virgin America lands at 7:05pm. My international flight with Alitalia 605 leaves at 8:35PM. Someone with knowledge please suggest.

I'm guessing you bought tickets separately - it will be very difficult for you to make this if you have checked bags as you will have to claim them from Virgin America in T4 and take them on the AirTrain to T1 to check with Alitalia. It will be hard for you to get there before the checked bag cutoff. If you don't have checked bags, it might be possible.

Thanks. We do not have checked bags. Do you know by any chance if the domestic and international terminals are within walking distance? And how long it takes to go from the domestic to international terminals?

JFK has 6 terminals, 4 of which handle international flights. You will arrive in Terminal 4 and depart from Terminal 1. You cannot walk between terminals. You have to take the AirTrain. It will take you about 20 minutes to get between terminals.

Hi, My friend and I are flying from Orlando on JetBlue and then Etihad to Abu Dhabi from terminal 4. We are flying on the 10th of december, do you think we can make it? because if not, we'll have to change the flight. Our flight lands in JFK at 8:11PM and our Etihad flight departs at 9:55PM Thanks

Yes, that should be enough time. If you bought tickets together you should be issued both boarding passes in Orlando and all you will have to do in JFK is take the AirTrain from T5 to T4 and go through security.

And what about the winter in JFK? Do aircrafts usually get delayed?

Arriving by USAIR at gate 34, Terminal 8 at 1516, departing by American from gate 46, Terminal 8 at 1600; enough time?

Yes, that should be enough time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

From Prague (PRG) with a 55 minute layover in FRA, on the way to PHL in the States. All on one ticket with Lufthansa, both flights Terminal 1. Will I have to go through passport control at Frankfurt if I'm coming from PRG or will I be able to go directly to the gate?

You will go through Schengen exit passport control as you exit the schengen wing and then you will go through security at your departure gate.

haven't booked yet, but i will probably be flying from toronto to palm springs with a connection in lax. the connection time is 90 min. we have customs pre clearance in toronto, which should be allowing the first flight to arrive as a domestic flight rather than an international flight. assuming the first flight arrives on time, would i have enough time to get from terminal 2 to terminal 7/8? thanks

Yes, that should be enough time. The fastest way from T2 to T7 is to walk straight across the airport through the parking garages. It's maybe a 15 minute walk. You will have to go through security again in T7.

If I arrive from Dayton at 6:20 via American Airlines and depart for Jamaica at 7:40 via US Airways, will I have enough time to make the connection? Tickets were purchased together.

Both of your flights will be operated by American and be in Terminal 3. You will have plenty of time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

My TA has booked us arriving Alitalia (which seems to be T1) on a Tuesday at 3:20 and departing Delta (seems to be T4) at 5:30. We are US citizens with checked luggage. Is this at all feasible to make?

Yes, it is possible. Note that most Delta domestic flights use T2, not T4. Where are you flying on Delta? You will be able to re-check your bags at the transfer desk in T1 and Alitalia should be able to issue your Delta boarding passes at your point of origin.

From JFK we fly to Austin, TX on Delta

Yes, that flight will leave from Terminal 2.

Hello! I am arriving on a flight from Madrid at 1:30 p.m. on December 2 and need to get to Penn Station to catch a train. How much time should I allow to get through customs?

I would estimate 45-55 minutes, then it will take you about an 80 minutes to get to Penn Station.

You are awesome! Thank you very much!!!

Arriving on AA into T8 at 13:35 from LHR connecting to AA to RDU 14:55 is this enough time to clear immigration and re-check?

That is about 10 minutes below the minimum connection time. You have a good chance to make it, but there's little to no room for any delays or backups at immigration.

Arrived on Austrian flight from Vienna and connected to LIT on United Airlines. I knew the bags were not checked through to little rock because the tags did not have LIT on them. A man with a handheld scanner instructed me to put them on the conveyor along the Wall . I told them they need to be rechecked to Little Rock, and he said no that is where they go.. Sure enough they did not not make the flight. Question now is where are they. I have filed a claim with United Airlines but the tags are Austrian tags with ORD as final destination. How do I get my luggage?

The Austrian bag office in ORD likely has them, but it will be difficult to get them.

Hi , Im flying from New Orleans to Cabo via DFW with US Airways...is 1 hour at DFW sufficient time to transfer to the Cabo flight ?

Actually both of your flights will be on American. Yes, that should be enough time. The SkyLink train connects all terminals inside security at DFW.

I am arriving on a flight from south korea have to connect onto a united air flight concerned with customs and going to united terminal from intl. that I could miss my flight have only 2 hours why is it set up that have to exit one terminal go to another re check in and then proceed thru security all over again

LAX was designed before international airline hubs existed. That's why it is spread over so many terminals. 2 Hours will be difficult. However, any time you enter the US, you have to go through security again, so in that regard LAX isn't any different. It is a difficult, but makeable connection.

  • T1 to T7 with a 2hr connection

I will be arriving to JFK TI on Turkish Airlines from IST at 11:20 and have a connecting fight in T7on US Airways at 1:20 to PHX. My flights are on separate itineraries so I will have to recheck in at T7. Is 2hrs enough time to get through immigration and customs, change terminals, check in, and go through security and still make my flight?

It's probably enough time, but it leaves very little time to spare in the case of delays or long lines at Immigration. Turkish and US Airways have an interline agreement, so you can show the Turkish agent in IST your US Airways confirmation and ask if they can check your bag through to PHX. They are not obligated to, but if they do, you will be able to re-check your bag in T1 at the transfer desk. Also, be sure to check in online for your US Airways flight before you leave Turkey. Finally, and this is important, be aware that US Airways has moved to Terminal 8 at JFK.
