Hi, I am traveling from LAX-SEA-AMS-GOT with Delta Airlines on the 23 june. It is only 37 minutes between flights landing in Seattle and the flight to Amsterdam. Is it enough time? Do I need to claim my luggage?

We arrive in Rome on American Airlines at 9:20a.m.with checked bags. We will need to go through customs. Can we make an 11:45am Ryan air connection to Palermo?

I would think it would be possible, but doesn't leave much time to spare if your AA flight is delayed.

Hi, Im flying to Atl from MTL, it shows my flight arrives at Concourse D Im meeting with my wife who's arriving from SDQ at Terminal E. Where can we meet to take ground transportation together?

Where is MTL? Will either of you have checked bags? MTL is the code for Maitland, Australia. I doubt you're coming from there. Are you both on Delta?

No checked bags, MTL is from Montreal Canada and SDQ Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. We are both on Delta.

Then you can meet her in the International Terminal at the exit of customs. Since you will pre-clear US Immigration and customs in Montreal, you will not have to go through Immigration and Customs in Atlanta.

if I arrive at T8 and am connecting to a flight in T4, do I have to go through security again?

Yes, you do, those terminals are only connected by the AirTrain which runs outside security.

I'm flying from Mexico (SJD) to Toronto (YYZ) with an 1hr 15min layover in Houston (IAH). Is this enough time? Both flights are with United Airlines - will the gates be in the same terminal?

That is 15 minutes shorter than the recommended time as you will have to go through US Immigration and Customs and Security and possibly change terminals (Toronto flights can leave from B, C, or E). You will arrive in E. It's possible, but it leaves no time to spare if there are any delays.

Hi, we're flying from San Fran to Orlando with a 45 minute connection in Atlanta and looks like we will have to go from gate A to gate F (jusding by past flights). Is this enough time? I have heard yo have to go through security?

No, you do not have to go through security. All you have to do is take the plane train from your arrival concourse to your departure concourse. The Orlando flight should usually NOT leave from F as that is primarily an International concourse. You have enough time if your first flight is on-time.

I'm flying from MXP through FRA on LH 247 June 21 with only an hour and five minutes to transfer to United flight UA988 to IAD. Will I have enough time? Do I have to go through customs or security? Will my bags automatically transfer? Thanks for your help.

Yes, that should be enough time. You just have to go through Schengen exit passport control. Your bags will be automatically transferred.

My US Air flight arrives in Philly at 12:49 pm at terminal F and my next flight leaves at 1:45 pm from terminal C. will I have enough time?

Yes, that should be enough time if your first flight is on-time. There is a shuttle bus connecting F and the other terminals inside security.

  • Transfer from terminal D to terminal B

Flying into terminal D and my connecting flight is terminal B just 40 minutes later. How long will it take me to connect and what's the quickest way? Thanks!

Most arrivals in Terminal D are International - where are you coming from? If your arrival into Terminal D is domestic or precleared that is barely enough time. The SkyLink train is the fastest way. If your flight into Terminal D is international non-precleared then there is no way you can make that connection.

I have about 2 hours to connect to Nuremberg. Is that enough?

That should be enough time if all your tickets are on one reservation.

Flying AA from Miami to Fargo, ND with connection in Chicago. Landing ORD at: 7:03 pm Departing at: 8:00pm. Enough time?

Yes, that should be plenty of time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both in Terminal 3.

50 min enough time? VCE - AMS - SEA. Initial flight KLM, then Delta. Exit passport control and security? Will construction be done by July 24, 2015?

    That should be enough time.

  • Do I need to collect my luggage in Washington on outgoing journey?

Connecting flights LHR to Tyson Mcghee via Dulles IAD. Please could you tell me if I have to collect my luggage at Washington on my outward flight and recheck it in again before I get on the plane to Knoxville or will my baggage go straight from London to Knoxville? I have phoned the airlines and have been told two different things! I was emailed that there had been a response but I cannot find it! Please could you reply directly to this thread - am flying with united airlines (outward flight star alliance with lufthansa )

You will arrive in concourse C, go through US Immigration in United's facility there, then claim your bags, go through US Customs, and re-check your bags at the transfer desk. They will be tagged through to TYS but you will still have to claim them to go through Customs. Then you will go through security and to your departure gate, which may be in the C or D concourse (which is one building) or in the A concourse (which is connected to C and D by the AeroTrain and mobile lounge).

Thank you ZAP. So you are confirming that I pick my bags up at Washington and re-check them in at Washington? What is the transfer desk?

The desk is a desk right after you go through customs where they take your checked bags back. It will be hard to miss and most of the people on your flight will be using it.

  • united flight minimum connection okay?

looking at a flight SEA to Venice, Italy. Flight has two connections: Dulles IAD layover 1h 50m. Second is Brussels BRU--that one looks good at 2h 25m. Not sure about the IAD, however. United minimum is 90 min. but know that can be tight at Dulles. Does the 1h50m connection sound okay. Flying on US passport

That is plenty of time. When leaving the US all you have to do in Dulles is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate - both will be in the C/D concourse.
