    We are flying with United fromToronto to IAH then on to Ixtapa on April 8...all with United. My ticket does not say which terminal yet. Our layover is 37 minutes!! When we will know the terminal and will we be able to get from one to the other in time?

    You likely will both arrive and depart from Terminal B as both of those markets are served by United Express from IAH. As such your connection will be an easy one.

  • Enough Time?

    Question - Is 1 hr 20 min enough time to make a connecting flight from AA 550 (from LA ) to AA 4282 (to Kitchener, Canada)? Do I need to pick up my checked bag and recheck? Do I need to go through security again? Thanks!

    On the way to Kitchener you will not have to pick up your bag or go through security again. Both of your flights will be in Terminal 3. You clear Canadian immigration in Kitchener. Your bag will be checked straight through.

  • Help with connection in FRA

    I will be arriving by LH-419 from IAD (USA) at 7:40 a.m. Terminal I A and connecting to LH 758 (to Chennia - MAA - India) which departs at 9:55 a.m. from Terminal I AB. Where is Terminal I AB. Do I go up by elevators and catch the skyline to Terminal B please? Thanks in advance.

    All of your flights will be in Terminal 1 (there are no Terminal A/B/etc.) You do not have to take the skyline.

    Need to go from T7 to T2 and have about two hours. It is a little hard for me to walk quickly because of recent surgery. What do you suggest I do to make my flight to China? What do I do to go through Security again? I will have carryon bags.

  • 1.5 hr connection - cutting it close?

    I'm scheduling a one-way Alaska cruise-tour at the end of May (start in Fairbanks on land and end in port of Vancouver). I am considering ticketing round trip to SEA and collecting my bags from American for check-in for Alaska flight to Fairbanks with 1.5 hrs in between. Is that time sufficient for baggage claim from AA and check-in with AS? Terminals may be changed by May such that all AS flights are from North Satelllite. Help!

    That's probably enough time, but try pricing it as a multi-city itinerary on AA.com or an online travel agency and see if you get the same price. If you do that then your bag will be checked through to FAI and you won't have to worry about claiming it in SEA.

    They will clear US Immigration in Ireland, so they won't be coming through customs. Arrivals from Ireland are handled like regular domestic flights

  • UAL 47 from FRA to UAL 1178 in 2.5hrs?

    Hi there, I have a checked bag and have to connect from UAL 47 from Frankfurt to UAL 1178 to SFO. Due to delays it appears I have around 2hrs and 45 mins to do this. Not being familiar with this airport and their customs, can I expect to make this connection in the time allowed?

    You will clear customs in Charlotte, claim bags and re-check, and then have to go through security again. I would want 1.5 hours, but an hour might be OK.

    Hi, I'm flying in UA517 from DC (IAD) and flying out UA819 to Buenos Aires, Argentina. 1) Is 1.20 minutes enough time to connect flights? 2) Do you know which are the gates for those flights? 3) Do i have to go through security at IAH again? Thanks!!!

    You won't know the exact gates until the day of your flight but they will be in Terminal C or E which are walkable. You will not have to go through security again in IAH on your way down.

    United Airlines from YVR to SFO International terminal and the connecting to United Airlines at Terminal 3 within one hour! is it possible with all the news about long security checks?

    Many flights from YVR arrive in Terminal 3 (since you will preclear US immigration in YVR), if that's the case you won't have to change terminals or go back through security.

    You are right..... I will be on United Express, which would be arriving at Terminal 3 and not at SFO International Terminal as I thought, eventhough it is an international flight from Canada. Thanks very much for your prompt reply!

    We have a flight from Atlanta to Halifax with a change connection in Newark. We have to get from Terminal C to A in 55 minutes. Does anyone know if we will have to reclaim baggage for customs/inspection; or can we check it thru from ATL?

    You will not have to claim baggage in EWR. It will be checked through to Halifax in Atlanta. You will clear immigration in Halifax.

    If arriving at LAX on united from Sydney and changing flights to fly on to New york do I need to go through the Security area after going through customs I fly into terminal 6 and fly out of 7 and is there a quick way off getting to terminal 7

    Yes, all international arrivals have to go through security after clearing immigration. Terminals 6 and 7 are connected. You just have to go up to the departure level and walk over.

    Hey, only to be sure about the connection time: I arrive at terminal C (LAS-IAH) and depart from terminal D (IAH-FRA, international), connection time is 1.20. I have never been to IAH, so I have no idea how it is like. Is that enough to get the plane? thanks!!

  • International transfer within Terminal 3

    Hi, I'm landing on an international Delta flight in Terminal 3 JFK at 6:40am and leaving on a domestic Delta flight from Terminal 3 at 8:10am. Delta insists 1.5 hours is enough (especially in the same terminal) but I'm worried; have to get off from the back of our international plane with a baby, clear passport control, pick up our bags and clear customs, drop off the bags and go to our next flight. Is 1.5 hours really enough for all that if we don't need to transfer terminals? Thanks!

    That will probably be enough time. There aren't that many international arrivals that early in the morning so Immigration won't be that busy.

    We arrive from Athens in terminal 3 at jfk at 4:30 pm. Our domestic flight from terminal three to Columbus Ohio leaves at 6:20 pm. Is that really pushing it to make the connection including customs, etc?
