Hi, I am traveling from Bogota to Fort Lauderdale, the flight arrives at 6:55pm and then the second flight departs to Detroit (both Spirit flights) at 8:20pm... Is that enough time?... (When going back DET-FLL-BOG: the first flight arrives at 9:14am and the flight to Bogota departs at 10:25am...same airline...same question) Thanks.

  • Will I be able to make the connection?

Hi! I am planning to travel to SFO from Singapore on SQ16 via Seoul. It is scheduled to land at 1235 in the SFO international terminal. I would then like to connect to UA5187 from SFO Terminal 3 to Calgary. The UA flight departs at 1401. I will have checked in luggage but both carriers are a part of star alliance so I am hoping to get my bags checked all the way through. Will I (and my bags!) be able to make the connection? Thanks!

Hello, I am traveling from HNL to Seattle via Alaska Airlines and connecting to American Airlines operated by US Airways to Phoenix and on to Orlando Florida that same flight. At the Seattle Airport are the gates for Alaska Airlines and American Airlines/US Airways within the same concourse? Do I have to get my baggage from Alaska Airlines and check into American Airlines/US Airways and go through a TSA checkpoint? Traveling with young children and the layover is 1 hr 15 minutes.

  • Transfer from T8 to T4 - is 1h16 enough time?
    Apr 27, 2015

Hello, I am trying to book a flight from BOS-STT (St. Thomas, USVI). The itinerary is AA330 BOS-JFK (arrives T8) and DL454 JFK-STT (departs T4). The layover time is 1:16. The connection is legal (I assume) because I can book it on AA.com. Is 1:16 enough time to get from T8 to T4? I gather I will need to take the train and re-clear security, but my bags should be checked through to STT since the itinerary is booked as one. This will be on a Sunday, so I gather the train frequency will be decreased. According to FlightAware, the BOS-JFK leg is usually a little early, and the JFK-STT leg is usually delayed 30+ mins. Any insight would be helpful before I book ourselves a miserable start to our holiday. Cheers!

I arrive at 5:40pm in Terminal 5 SAS airlines and need to get to Terminal 1 United to catch a 9:06pm to St. Louis. Tickets were purchased separately. Will this give me enough time to connect?

That should be plenty of time.

Hi! I am international student with F1 visa and will lend to USA (not the first time) on 11 of August from Ukraine to JFK. If I lend at 2:20pm and I want to buy domestic tickets now to SLC at 5:30pm, is it going to be enough to have 3h10min to lick up my baggage, go through international security, etc? I don't know terminal yet...

That is probably enough time. Although if you provide more specifics I can help you more.

  • Traveling Between Terminals B and C
    Apr 27, 2015

I will be traveling from Denver to Baltimore via Southwest, and the Southwest flights leave from terminal C. There's a restaurant in terminal B that I wanted to visit with a friend who is taking a United flight on that same day. Is it possible to travel through security to terminal C and then travel to terminal B and then back to terminal C without going through security more than once? Is this via the underground trains? Thanks!

B and C in Denver aren't separate terminals, they're just different concourses. DEN only has a single security checkpoint serving all concourses before you get on the underground train. Yes, you can freely travel between B and C inside security on the Underground Train.

i'm traveling from Raleigh NC to mexico and i like to know how hard or difficult be to get to terminal b from terminal c. i only have 50 minutes to do this

The TerminaLink train connects B and C inside security. it shouldn't take more than 15 minutes.

  • Do you go through security again when going from terminal A to F?
    Apr 27, 2015

We have 45 minutes in between our connecting flight. The flight arrives at Terminal A but departs at Terminal F. I know we will need to take a shuttle, but will we also have to go through security again? If so, will that be enough time?

No, you will not have to go through security again. it should be barely enough time if your first flight is on-time.

  • detroit - ohare - tokyo connection

i have a 40 minute layover between my united flight from detroit to my united flight to tokyo. all is in terminal one. will this be enough time? will there be a security check at ohare?

There is no security check at O'Hare, all you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. Your flight from Detroit may actually arrive in Terminal 2 but it is connected to Terminal 1 inside security.
