    Flying into PHL on US Airways, then on to NWR with US Airways Express - will we have to claim and then re-check in our luggage or will it transfer direct?

    If your first flight is domestic you won't have to do anything with your baggage. If the first flight is international you will claim it in immigration then re-check it after customs.

    It's doable but you will have to hurry. You have to take a shuttle from the F-gates.

    You are not allowed to enter the post-security areas, including gates. Meet at FLL's Arrivals Hall, which has on each end Concourses E & F - your passenger arrives at Concourse F. Best place to meet: in front of the information counter there.

  • Connecting to international flight

    Flying with my kids from Oakland to SEA on AlsakaAir, then connecting to IcelandAir for international flight. Bought flights as seperatae reservations. We want to carry bags onto flight OAK to SEA, but check bags at IcelandAir for international flight. Do we have to go through security for connecting flight in SEA? Can we go directly to IcelandAir gate and check bags there? How much time should we allow for transfer through airport? Thank you for any information, Shelley

    I doubt you will be able to check the bags at the gate (you might get lucky and they will let you). I would schedule at least 2 hours to make your connection. Preferably 3.

    If your bags are checked through or if you don't have checked bags, yes, if you move quickly. If you have to claim and re-check, no.

    It depends on the gate on the elevators. None of the gates are "shuttle" gates if that's what you mean.

    Hello, we are flying to ATL on Delta, connecting from another inbound filght from T3. Connection time between the flights is 1h 10 min. Is this going to be enough time for transfer? Thanks

    When arriving at Terminal 3 of FCO, you need to take the shuttle to Terminal 5's Boarding Area G; you have enough time. Signs will guide you.

  • Internation-domestic terminals

    Yikes, couldn't avoid US Air for PHX to Munich via PHL. Arrive May 18 flt 714 depart flt 716. Anyone know inbound terminal - outbound? I have an hour & 40 min. On my return from MUC June 7 flt 717( A west?) I have an hour & a half to get on flt 715 to PHX, will that be terminal F on my outbound? I know I have to clear immigration and recheck my bags. Any help would be appreciated. I have never used PHL that I can recall. Thanks!

    Only US Airways Express flights use Terminal F, so you will not have to go there as all your flights are mainline.

    At SEA, to connect between the N gates and the S gates, take the train (near gate N10, down one level) from North Satellite to the Main Terminal, then cross over and take the train on the opposite side to the North Satellite stations & take escalator up. My guess is 25-30 mins.

    Yes, it should be. Take the SkyLink train between terminals (you do not have to go through security again).

    I am flying in from Rochester, NY on a Delta Connection Plane to connect to a flight to Los Angeles, I have only 35 mins. to change planes. The flight to LAX is a Delta Boeing 757. Do I have enough time to make this connection?? Thanks

    Connections on Delta at DTW are pretty easy. If your first flight is on-time you'll have enough time, but it won't hurt to hurry.

    Enough time to get from gate A6 to gate E29 plane scheduled arr atl 9:00 at gate A6 next leaves fron E29 at 9:45 if all on time. Enough time or should I resched?

    If your first flight is on-time and you hurry it should barely be enough time. You take the plane train almost its entire length. I wouldn't re-book as long as there are later flights to your destination that day out of ATL.

  • US Airways flight connecting to Air Malt

    Hello, I am travelling from North Carolina on US Airways arriving at 9:30 Terminal 3. My next flight is on Air Malta departing at 11:30 am. These are booked as separate flights and not connections. I have to pick up luggage that I will check. Do I have enough time to go through security, pick up luggage, and get my boarding pass to be on the Air Malta flight at 11:30 am?

    Probably enough time if your flight in is on-time and your bags come out at a reasonable time.

    You can't use the baggage cart very far - you can't take them on a shuttle bus or the ATS. Where are you going?
