Getting from JFK Terminal 2 to 4May 12, 201360Hi, I'm from England, UK and will be in the US in early July. On the way back to England we will be travelling from Buffalo (Delta Airlines) into JFK Terminal 2 at 16:10 and need to catch a 19:25 Virgin Atlantic flight from Terminal 4 back to London Heathrow. We will have hold baggage. What is the quickest way to get from T2 to T4? Is it possible to not go through security again (saves time)? Will I have enough time to catch the 19:25 (including check in etc..) ThanksNCposted on Sat, May 11[ Reply ][ Like ]Delta operates a shuttle bus from T2 to T4 on the secure side - http://www.delta.com/content/www/en_US/traveling-with-us/airports-and-aircraft/airports/new-york-jfk.htmlZAPposted on Sat, May 11Thanks ZAP. Will we still be able to check in our bags and get our boarding passes on the secure side for our Virgin flight?NCposted on Sat, May 11If your bags are checked through you won't have to do anything with them in JFK. If not you will have to leave the secure side and claim them, then take them to T4 and check them with Virgin Atlantic. You have over 3 hours so that is enough time to do all that.ZAPposted on Sat, May 11OK, that's good to know. I doubt the bags will be checked through as the two flights were booked separately as part of separate trips LHR\JFK return and JFK\BUF return as we are going to niagara at the end of our NYC trip. I will ask at the airport when we check in at Buffalo on our return journey. Thanks for the advice.NCposted on Sat, May 11Also, If we will leave the secure side can we still get the Delta shuttle bus from T2 to T4 (or an equivalent shuttle service)?NCposted on Sat, May 11

Transfer Time with Checked BaggageMay 11, 201320Traveling on AA from PHX to FRA via connection in DFW. Can we check our baggage straight thru from PHX, or will we have to pick up our luggage in DFW before going thru customs?HWposted on Sat, May 11You will not have to do anything with your baggage in DFW on the way to Frankfurt - you will just go through customs in Frankfurt. On the way back you will go through immigration in DFW and claim your baggage, go through customs, then re-check it with American.ZAPposted on Sat, May 11

AA to US AIwaysMay 11, 201330I have a flight from American Airlines into Ohare T3 gate L6A. My connecting flight leaves from F10 via US Airways....can I print boarding passes for US Airways without having to exit and come back through security? It wont allow me to check in online since the first portion of my trip is another airline.SLposted on Fri, May 10I'm not sure if US Airways has a boarding pass kiosk on the concourse in T2, but the agent at the gate should be able to print it for you. How long do you have between flights?ZAPposted on Sat, May 11

Time to ConnectMay 10, 201320I'm arriving at IAH on United Flight UA807 on 5/15 at 1:40 PM and have 1 hour to connect with UA Flight 5227 at 2:45 PM. I'm a senior and handicapped. Will I have enough time to make the transfer? Are both of these flights in the same terminal?vicg636posted on Fri, May 10Flight 807 will arrive into Terminal C or E and 5227 will likely depart from Terminal B. You will have to take the TerminaLink train between the gates. I suggest you request wheelchair service from United (which you can do by calling them). If your first flight is on time you will have enough time for your connection.ZAPposted on Fri, May 10

How much time do I need to connect?May 10, 201310I will be flying on United from Neward to LAX with a 1:22 connection time at IAH. I will have checked baggage. Is that enough time for them to transfer my luggage from one plane to the other? I'm not worried about myself because I know I won't have any problems in that time to walk from arrival gate to departure gate, but I am worried about my luggage. I don't know how much time it takes for them to transfer my luggage. Does anyone know if my bags will be able to make it to LAX at the same times as I do??I3vbposted on Fri, May 10

connection time and location...help!May 10, 201320Hi, On monday May 13, 2013 I am arriving on flight 5249 to terminal B at 11:01am and my connecting flight is flight 1016 in terminal E at 11:46am (going to Cancun)...question is, will 45 minutes be enough time to make the connecting flight and can someone please navigate me where I need to go after I get off the plane to find our final destination flight?? Any other tips would be appreciative! Thanks! Very nervous! TerriTADposted on Fri, May 10You will have to take the terminalink train from the concourse B station the D/E station. You'll have to hurry but if your first flight is on-time you'll be OK. Also, United will have later flights if you miss your connection and Monday is typically a light travel day TO Cancun so it should be no problem being rebooked if you miss your connection.ZAPposted on Fri, May 10Thanks for the response...I have never missed a flight before (dont fly that often) but if we do miss the flight whether it be delay or because there wasnt enough time to get to the next connection, will the airline put us on another flight free of charge or will we have to pay?TADposted on Fri, May 10
