  • Connection time at FCO

Hello, I will be flying from Israel to Amsterdam through FCO in about two weeks. I have an 1h5min connection in FCO - is it enough? Both flights are with Alitalia.

I suggest you open www.ifly.com/ams, click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS, then scroll down past the map to the detailed text (terminal layout, arriving/connecting passengers, flight transfer, terminal details, etc)

  • Flying from Dubai to Toronto connecting at JFK

I'll be flying in with Emirates at T4 and connecting to fly to Toronto with Delta. I have luggage to be checked and 2 hours between my flights. Will I have enough time? Also will I be flying out of Delta's international terminal in T4?

On arrival at JFK you will need to go through passport check, pick up bags, go through customs clearance & re-check-in your bags where indicated. If you bought your 2 flights on one ticket your bags will automatically be transferred. If not,you will need to go to the Delta counter at T4 on the Departures level & check in your bags, before proceeding to your gate. Either way you have enough transfer time.

You flight to Toronto will likely leave from Terminal 2, as all Delta Connection flights depart from there. However, you can still check your bag at T4 if necessary, then go through security and take the shuttle bus to T2.

  • Terminal 2E to 2F

We have a group of 20 seniors from Los Angeles, arriving at Terminal 2E @ 11:35AM on 3 Dec 2014, and making outbound connection to Rome @ Terminal 2F. We only have 60 minutes to make the connecting flight. Our luggage are presumably checked through to Rome (FCO). Do we need to go through Passport Control? Would there be electric cart to transfer seniors in their 80s between T2E to T2F? Do we have enough time to make connecting flight? We appreciate responses.

T2E &T2F are on opposite sides of each other (sharing parking in center); followed by separate buildings ("Halls" L & M, housing additional gates T2E and served by the 2E bus. At the east end of the satellite row is T2G with its own parking facility; T2G can be reached by bus outside of T2E/T2F (east of their garage). If you arrived at either Hall L or M, you would be bused to 2E for passport control, thereafter bused to T2F - one hr seems quite short. CDG discontinued its website replacing it with a new one not yet completely in service; Maybe you want to try it in a few days: (www.) aeroportsdeparis.fr/en/homepage

Hi Zap, i have a flight from Montréal to JFK operated by CHAUTAUQUA DBA DELTA CONNECTION, arrival JFK terminal 2 @ 5:58pm, my connection flight is in terminal 4, going to Sao Paulo (Brazil) with Delta departure @ 8:07pm. Do I have enough connection time? do i need to recheck my baggage and pass security? What would be your advise to get to terminal 4 faster. thanks for your help

Go through U.S. Customs clearance at Montreal AP; you arrive at JFK - Delta's domestic T2 - take Delta's shuttle bus gate-to-gate to Terminal 4. No need to go through security check. Bags will be automatically transferred.

Just take the shuttle bus from T2 to T4, you have plenty of time. Yes, you will pre-clear US Immigration in Montreal and won't have to do anything with your bags in New York on your way to Brazil.

  • DFW to CUN

Please help. I plan a vacation for my family of 4 (2 adults, 12 yrs and 16 yrs old) in Jun of 2015 and my connection btw DFW to CUN is only 47 mins. Do we have enough time to transfer (6:13am-7:00am)? Thank you very much for all your help.

Your 'transfer' at DFW depends on whether you arrived at DFW from a domestic or an international flight. Therefore, I suggest that you open www.ifly.com/dfw, click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS & scroll down to the detailed text for procedures & transfers, etc. As you arrive a morning rush hour, 47 minutes would be too short if you are an international arrival. Also make sure that your passports for all 4 members are current.

How easy is it to get from terminal 2F to terminal 1 and how long will it take approximately.

At CDG, between T1, T3 and at the center between T2D & T2F take the CDVAL train - connecting closeby to the RER & TGV trains.

The ride on the CDGVAL will be about 5 to 10 minutes.

I'm trying to get from Terminal C (US Airways) to parking lot P5 on the other side of Terminal D. Is there a way to stay indoors as long as possible during inclement weather? In particular, is there an indoor connection between Terminal C and D?

    Yes, there is.

Is the time enough for me to tsansfer from LAX terminal 5 to Tom Bradley terminal based on the below flights schedule AF2219N 17MAR TU SJCLAX SS1 1240 1400 AF 65N 17MAR TU LAXCDG SS1 1645 1135

Yes, that should be enough time. Walk from T5 to the TBIT along the curb. It shouldn't take more than 15-20 minutes. You won't have to do anything with your baggage in LAX.

    Thnaks a lot

  • Help me, please! :)

Hello! :) I'm arriving at Dallas airport on Dec. 27 from MIAMI on american airlines (1437) and boarding to go to SAVANNAH in 2 hours and 25 minutes on ENVOY AIR AS AMERICAN EAGLE(3351) and I'll have to do the check in again (with american eagle) and dispatch my bags too. So, Which terminal will I disembark? Which terminal will I embark to go to Savannah? And about the check in, where can I do it? Are there places in the terminal or near to there? Thank you very very much!

You do not have to check in. All you have to do is walk from your arival gate to your departure gate. All terminals are connected inside security by the Skylink train. You won't know your terminals until the day of your flight. You have plenty of time.

We are planning to book a flight on Ethiopian airlines that transits through FCO. We arrive and depart on the same plane with the same flight number. There is a 1 hour lay over. Will we have to go out and back through security or just stay in the boarding area?

You will just stay in the boarding area.

That should be plenty of time.

  • International v. Domestic Arrivals

My sister is flying from El Salvador to Atlanta. She has a connecting flight in Miami. I am uncertain about where to pick her up as it's an international flight. However, she will go through customs and board a different plane in Miami which makes me wonder if she should be picked up at the domestic terminal. Thanks in advance!

If she is flying American, which if she is connecting in Miami she probably is, you will pick her up at the domestic terminal,

    Thank you so much!! :)
