  • Transfer to Royal Air Maron

We are arriving JFK from CLT on USAir. Will transfer to Royal Air Maroc with only 2.5 hour layover. Will that be enough time? Thanks.

It's enough time, but your first flight has to be on-time and you have to hurry on the AirTrain from T8 to T1.

Thanks for the quick response, ZAK. Can we save time by walking from T8 to T1?

Leaving Toronto, YYZ to MSP (Minneapolis-St Paul). Will go through security at Pearson. When I arrive at MSP is there check points or security again, or do I hop off the plane and hop on. (carrying baggage with me) From MSP next flight is to NRT (Narita). At this point, am I domestic or international. Do I go through security, check points again? Last flight, NRT to PVG. Any help or tips will be appreciated

You will pre-clear US Immigration and customs in Toronto. You will not go through passport control or see your baggage again until you get to Shanghai. You will not have to go through security in MSP either. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

  • Terminal / Security

Going PHL -> SJU out of Terminal A-West. Staying at Marriott in Terminal B night before. Can I go through security at Terminal B, or do I have to go to Terminal A-West to go through security.

Yes, you can go through security in Terminal B.

Someone told me there is additional security you have to go through at A-West on the secure-side due to it being the International Terminal even if you have already gone through it at another terminal. Is that true?

That is not true. The person who told you that must be confused with having to go through security after an international arrival.

There is also additional security for the flight to Tel Aviv, Israel. Perhaps the person who told you about it was on or saw that flight.

Thanks. Didn't sound right but thought I would ask.

Hello. I am planning on buying tickets separately. First flight from MEX to JFK arrives at JFK 15:30 pm. Is it doable to get a flight to Düsseldorf (DUS) at 21:25 pm. Would that be enough time to go through Customs, get baggage check in again, etc.? I have no experience with international connecting flights. Thank you for any answer!!

Yes, that should be enough time. You will be out of customs by 16:30 at the latest, so that leaves plenty of time to take the AirTrain to your departure terminal, check-in, and go through security.

  • Terminal B domestic flight transfer to Terminal A International

We have a US Airways flight arriving from Houston in Terminal B and will be connecting to an international flight to Brussels in Terminal A, will we have to go through security again before boarding the international flight? We have just under 90 minutes to make the transfer. Thanks.

No, you do not have to go through security. You just have to walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate which shouldn't take more than 15 minutes.

    Thank you,

  • 47 minutes to connect

Arriving at South Domestic(concourse not specified) on DL and leaving on DL to Puerto Vallarta out of T2 (DL says "International gate T2" - I assume that's in concourse T though not in the Intl Terminal?) Can we do that in 47 minutes? Head for the plane train?

You will arrive in concourse T, A, B, or C and depart from concourse E or F. The Plane Train connects all concourses inside security. You have enough time if your first flight is on-time.

  • Manchester to Miami is 1:45 enough?

Manchester to Miami is 1:45 enough?

Manchester, England or Manchester, New Hampshire? For either it should be enough, but it has less time to spare for England.

Arriving on United from Heathrow. Is 1 hour 30 minutes enough time to make a connection for a flight to PDX?

Yes, but it is the bare minimum amount of time for such a connection.

  • 49 minute layover

Im flying from San Diego to Toronto and connecting from IAD; will a 49 minute layover be enough?

Yes, that should be enough time if your first flight is on-time and you are flying the same airline for both legs.

I have 1 hour and 58 minutes to connect from my in coming flight from Minneapolis to my outgoing flight (Internationally) to Amsterdam. Will that be enough time? Will I have to clear TSA twice, once in MSP and again for going international? Will I be able to check my bag from Minneapolis, even though I fly internationally from Chicago? Sorry about the broad questions!

If both of your flights are on United you will not have to do anything with your baggage or go through TSA. If you are flying in on Delta and out on KLM, your baggage will be transferred but you will have to take the ATS train from T2 to T5 and go through security. If you tell me your airlines I can give you better directions.

I am flying United ATW-ORD-ZRH. Do I have to change terminals at ORD from United to Swissair? If so, how much time should I allow?

Yes, you will arrive in Terminal 1 or 2 (likely 2), then exit security and take the ATS Train to Terminal 5 where you will go through security. You will need at least an hour, preferably a little more.

  • Connecting fron YYZ to DFW

I am arriving in ORD from Toronto (YYZ) on a United Flight & have a connecting flight on AA to DFW. Is 62 minutes enough time to make the connection? Is baggage cleared through to DFW from YYZ?

If you purchased your tickets together then yes, you will pre-clear US Customs and Immigration in Toronto and your bags will be transferred. However, if you bought two separate tickets you do not have enough time to claim your bags from United and then Re-check them with American. You will arrive in Terminal 1 or 2 and depart from Terminal 3. All three terminals are connected inside security by walkways.

So this flight from YYZ via United will not arrive at Terminal 5 - The International terminal for United?

Correct, United flights from Canadian airports with preclearance, like Toronto, arrive in Terminal 1 and 2.,

Right now the gate information is showing that our United flight from YYZ to ORD is coming in to Terminal 5 - the International Terminal. Our connecting flight is with American Airlines and I have 62 minutes to make the connecting flight out of Terminal 3.....is this enough time and do we have to go through Security again?

  • TSA Precheck gates

I need a list of TSA Precheck Gates for all terminals at DFW Airport.

A12, C21, D30, & E18 https://dfwairport.com/travel/security/index.php However, all gates are connected inside security, so if you are precheck but have a flight from Terminal B, you can go through security in A or D and then take the Skytrain to B.

  • LAX change terminal 2 to 4

Sorry just posted below but forgot to say it is LAX and flights are 7 on virhgin LHR to LAX and 1691 on American LAX to Vegas not tried to change here before and will have two bags! Thanks

So you're arriving at 2:25 PM on Virgin Atlantic and departing at 5:55 PM on American? OK, then you will arrive in Terminal 2, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, then you need to walk from Terminal 2 to Terminal 4. Walk right out of T2, past T3 and the International Terminal, until you get to T4. Then you will have to check your bags with AA and go through security. If I have those times correct I think you will have enough time. It will take about 45 minutes to get through customs and about 20 minutes to walk to T4.
