I have a connecting flight with terminal 4 level 1. Arrive on Air Nostrum from Granada at 15.00 an dleave for Dublin on Iberia Express at 15.50.... But the time is only 45 minutes - will I need to clear security again and will I make it in 45 minutes - is seems very short to me? Iberia told me miminum connection time is 45 minutes!

  • Connecting between Southwest and Spirit

I'm arriving at FLL Terminal 1 on Southwest and departing on Spirit from Terminal 4 for an international flight to San Salvadore, Bahamas. Is 1:50 enough time to make the connection if I only have carry-on? What if I have a checked bag?

Yes, it's definitely doable with only carry ons (note however that Spirit has a carry-on fee if you need to use the overhead bin). It would be tough with checked bags as you'd have to transfer them yourselves and get to Spirit's desk before their check-in cut-off.

  • Flight to and from Bermuda

My wife and I are flying out of Baltimore(BWI) on US Airways Express and then connecting onto Bermuda. Can anybody tell me what Terminal I will arrive and then depart from? I think Ill arrive at F and have to depart from A. Do I claim my bags and go the main international check in counter? Or can I do that all in Terminal F? Also on the return flight I have read theres a pre clearance US Customs station in Bermuda. Does that mean when I land I can just go to my connecting gate after landing and not have to claim my bags or go back through customs? Both layovers are 3+ hours so I hope that is enough time to be safe. First time international flyer. Thanks

Your bags will be checked straight through to Bermuda in BWI. You won't have to do anything with them in PHL on either trip. On the return flight, yes, there is preclearance in Bermuda so again you don't have to do anything with your bags in PHL.

  • Gates - 2 hours

MSP to AMS, at what gates does Delta arrive? Is 2 hours enough transfer time when switching to Royal Jordanian to AMM? Departure gates?

Arrivals 1 & 2 areas lead up to Departures 1 & 2; and Arrivals 3 & 4 lead up to Departure 3. Departures 1 uses the B, C & D gates; At AMS, airlines are not specifically assigned to Concourses /gates. Departures 2 uses the E gates; Departure 3 uses F, G, H & M gates. (Arrivals 1 & 2 and Arrivals 3 & 4 are on opposite sides of the center.) - simply follow signs to your connecting gate. 2 hrs transfer is enough time.

do I have to collect my bags? do I have to go through a passport or security check? If so where?

Hello, I'm traveling from Iceland to Las Vegas via Denver. I have 1h35min in Denver to clear immigration, customs, get my bag, check in and border. Is that do-able? Would it be better without a checked bag?

Yes, it's doable, but tough. It will be faster without a checked bag. If you can, check in for your flight to Denver before you leave Iceland. What airline are you flying from Denver to Las Vegas.

I am flying United from Denver

We fly YHZ-EWR-BZE on united Airlines March 2. Will will be doing US pre clearance in Halifax prior to departure. Out connection is 55mins. Is this doable? Will we be arriving and departing from the same terminal?

Yes, that should be enough time. You may arrive in Terminal A, which may require you taking United's shuttle bus to Terminal C, which runs inside security. Your flight to BZE will depart from Terminal C.

While United uses Terminal C exclusively for United & United Express flights, it also uses Terminal A for some United Express flights (at gate area A2). If arriving at TA - take the shuttle bus near gate A28 to Terminal C's gateway 1, near gate C71. For detailed terminal information, open www.ifly.com/ewr, then click on 'Terminal Map' under 'QUICK LINKS', and scroll down to the detailed text.

  • Walking from terminal C to terminal D

Can you walk between these two terminals? Looking at the map they seem to be linked. If so, is this a reasonable walk or is it better to use the shuttle bus?

TC & TD are connected at airside (post-security). Follow signs to your connecting gates.

  • Flying to Ireland from YVR via Chicago

Do I need to collect my luggage in Chicago and recheck it in again to Dublin or will my luggage be directly booked from YVR to Dublin?

If you bought both flights on one ticket, bags will automatically be transferred. Use U.S. customs clearance at YVR; and on your return at Dublin (they also have US customs clearance.)

Actually, if you are on the Aer Lingus Dublin-Chicago flight, you will not go through Pre-clearance in Dublin as that flight does not use it. On your return you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, and re-check in Terminal 5, then take the ATS train to Terminal 1 for your flight to Vancouver. Also, on your way out you will have to take the ATS train from Terminal 1 to Terminal 5 and go through security, although your bags will be checked through.

I arrive from Chicago terminal 3 and have 50 min to get to terminal 1 is it possible and what is the quickest way?

If arriving flight is on time - 50 minutes should be enough. You can walk or take the AirTrain - in both instances you need to go through security check at T1 before proceeding to Boarding Area B (gates 20-39). (AirTrain's Red Line stops at all 4 terminals & Parking, making a continuous loop.

I have a Delta flight from Phoenix to Seattle then connecting to Seoul Korea my layover is 1hr 20 minutes. Is that enough time to transfer my luggage and for us to board the plane to Korea?

Both Delta & Korean airlines use Satellite South, which has gates S1-S16. If you bought both flights on one ticket, your bags will automatically be transferred. You have enough time.

Arriving us airways from St Maartin. Terminal B - Then have a connecting flight to Pittsburgh. Do I have to get my luggage and the go thru customs and then recheck my bags.. All flights with US AIR. I have 1 hr 10 min layover. Will this be enough time>

Yes you will have to claim your baggage, go through customs and recheck then go through security. That will be very hard to do in just 70 mins. However US has lots of PHL-PIT flights if you miss your connection.
