As you are a non-Schengen arrival at FCO, your transfer time should suffice. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/fco, then click on 'Terminal Map' under 'QUICK LINKS', and scroll down to the detailed text.

is this any indication to follqw (like the TRANSIT or CONNECTION WORD) ? Thank's

questions : 1> is 3h enought time for transit? 2>do i need to re-check in my luggages ? 3>do i need to go through security check or TSA in order to get to my departure gate again ? many tks for your insights !

3 hrs is enough time. Your arrival & departure depends on which airline(s) you take. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/iah, then click on 'Terminal Map' under 'QUICK LINKS', and scroll down to the detailed text. (Pay attention to International Arrivals & transfers.

Yes, you will arrive in Terminal E, go through US Immigration and claim your luggage, if your bags are tagged through to AMS you can re-check your bags immediately after customs, but if not you will have to take them to Terminal D to check with KLM. Then you will go through Security and to your departure gate in Terminal D.

minor traveling from lga to iah to lim with 2:30min connect time. Is that enough time to get from term c to term e? do they need to do anything with luggage at IAH or is it checked through to LIM?

If both flights were bought on one ticket, bags will automatically be transferred. The above-ground TerminaLink train runs inside security (on arrival, look for its signs; it starts at Terminal A station & connects terminals A, B, C, D/E (a 30 mins transfer). For terminal details open open www.ifly.com/iah, then click on 'Terminal Map' under 'QUICK LINKS', and scroll down to the text.

  • Getting from international to domestic and what to do

Flying from England, connecting to domestic flight to Iowa. How to do that? How long will it take? Do we have to collect our luggage and take it with us through the airport? How long will it take to go through security:immigration for foreigners? We'll be laying over for 7 hours. Is there a VIP lounge near or in the domestic terminal that we can have a rest? We've never been at Atlanta airport before. Looks huge and scary.

Nothing scary about ATL. Open www.ifly.com/atl, then click on 'Terminal Map' under 'QUICK LINKS', and scroll down to the detailed text - paying attention to "Getting Around" & its sub-headings, then moving further down to 'Terminal Details'. Thereafter click on the Terminal maps above to familiarize yourself with the terminal layouts. ATL's new International Terminal is splendid with plenty of amenities & services & lounges.

Do I have to prebook the lounges? Thanks.

  • Flight from CLT to GNV, connecting time. of 1:50 mins is sufficient ?

Well I will be travelling from India to Gainesville.. on the 13th of Aug 14.. I have Charlotte Douglas airport as my port of entry.. I am travelling for the 1st time to USA on student visa.. my arrival at CLT through Lufthansa is at 4:20pm.. and connecting flight to Gainesville is at 6:11pm through US airways... is the connecting time sufficient to board the next flight ? Many thanks

Yes you should be able to make the transfer in time. Both airlines belong to the Star Alliance, so after you have gone through passport check, pick up bags, & go through customs clearance, then re-check-in your bag, you may proceed to your connecting gate. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/clt then click on 'Terminal Map' under 'QUICK LINKS', and scroll down to the detailed text.

Im flying from dublin to iad with connection to st louis, what is the procedure when i land at iad. Bearing in mind i will have gone through CBP pre clearance at dublin.

Your arrival at IAD is considered to be a 'domestic arrival'. If both legs of the flight have been booked on one ticket, all you need to do is follow signs to your connecting flight, which depends on what airline you are taking. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/iad then click on 'Terminal Map' under 'QUICK LINKS', and scroll down to the detailed text.

  • 55 min connection - C to B terminal

Arriving at or near gate C 41 and next flight leaves from or near gate B23. Is this enough time for a safe transfer? Is walking possible? Thx!

You arrive at Terminal C, South Concourse, and need to get to Terminal B, Southwest Concourse. Take the above-ground 'TerminaLink' Train (inside security) to Terminal B (follow signs) - transfer time: about 30 mins max.

US Airways flight from San Antonio to Nassau with a connection in Charlotte that is only 36 minutes!! Will we even have time to deplane and board again?

You arrive at & depart from CLT at either Concourse B, C or E (with corresponding gates. On arrival, look at overhead screens to find your connecting flight & gate number, then follow signs. Your transfer time should suffice.

Hello! I'm sorry if something like that was already asked and answered, I just want to double check my informations about a connecting flight in Detroit. Arriving from YUL (montreal), going to Seoul, I will have a connection in Detroit, with 1h19min to spare. Delta Flights all the way. From what I've read, I will get pre-cleared in Canada and will depart from the same terminal since I have Delta flights? Is that right? Is that enough? Thanks a lot!!

Yes you go through US Customs Clearance at YUL and will arrive & depart at DTW's McNamara Terminal, which has Concourses A, B & C with corresponding gates. The overhead screens on arrival. will indicate flight & gate number. Concourse A, reached from level 2, has 1.5 miles of moving walkways . Additionally, the Express Tram stops at the South station near gate A11, the Terminal station in the center near gate 1 and the water feature, and the North station near gate A67. Concourse A has to the left gates A38-A1; to the right gates A40-78, and at its center the tunnel connecting to Concourse B to the left and Concourse C to the right. Concourse B at right has gates B1-21on opposite sides. Concourse C at left has C1 through C43 on opposite sides. An elevator between Concourses B & C leads to the Lower Level gates C1 to C7.

ok thanks! Should be enough time then!

I am flying from Toronto to New Delhi via United with a 51 min. stopover in Newark. Toronto Flight lands in Terminal A and Delhi flight leaves from Terminal C. Is that sufficient time to make the connecting flight. I am travelling on a Saturday evening in August.

Use U.S. Customs clearance in Toronto; on Arrival at EWR, take the United bus shuttle departing from Gate Area 2 near gate A28, to Terminal C, gate area 1, near gate C74 (no security check needed). TC's gate areas: C1 is arranged in a Y-shape (gates C70-99); C2 (gates C101-C115); & C3 (gates C120-139).

I am also getting the same flight from Toronto to New Delhi via Newark with an 58 min layover, my concern is that were you able to make it to the connecting flight within time? Also did you go through customs again in Newark? Lastly, what was the overall experience flying with United? Thanks in advance.

I have a 44 min layover, arriving on United 1153 @ 9:11am and departing United 5190 @ 9:55. Is this in the same concourse and duable to make the connection?

You arrive & depart from the same Concourse B, which has gates B15 - B37 and B38 - B60 with extensions to both gates B80 - B95 and B59 - B79 on either side of the center. Your transfer time is sufficient.

  • SFO to IAd to DXB - customers where?

I am flying from sFO to IAD and then on to DXB via united. Do I go through customs in SF? My flight check says terminal 3 which is a domestic terminal. In IAD, which terminal do I go to?

You depart SFO via United at Terminal 3, which has Boarding Area E, gates 60-69 & Boarding Area F, gates 68-90. You will arrive at IAD at Concourse C/D (C & D gates) United uses both Concourses and a connecting walkway is between them. Look at overhead screens to find your connecting flight & gate number.

Thanks. I guess I still don't where I go through customs - if at all.

You will go through UAE immigration when you get to Dubai. You do not go through US Immigration when leaving the US.

You will go through UAE Immigration/customs when you get to Dubai. Nothing in the US.

  • enough time for connection?

I arrive with Delta Airlines from Atlanta to Rome at 7.30am will land in terminal 3 and I am thinking to buy a ticket Rome-Vienna with AirBerlin that leaves at 8.50am from terminal 3. I have an European Passport (spanish), I will have 80min will it be enough time to make the connection?

You are a non-Schengen arrival at FC0 and need to go through passport check, pick up bags, go through customs clearance and proceed with your bag to the AirBerlin counter for re-check-in (as you have 2 separate tickets and your airlines don't belong to the same Alliance). Since you don't need to change terminals, your time should suffice.

  • 1 hour connecting time from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3

My flight departs Calgary, Alberta Canada with United, terminal 1 ( I belive) departs Chicago with American Airlines terminal 3. is 1 hour enough connecting time?

Make sure you go through U.S. Customs at Calgary. If you bought both flights on one ticket your bags will automatically be transferred; otherwise you need to claim your bag & re-check it in with AA. On arrival at ORD you can use walkways at post-security areas of the Departures level - follow signs - or take the free ATS shuttle train runs every few minutes in the unsecured areas of the terminals and go through security check before proceeding to your gate.

Hi, I fly from ORD to JFK then have a connection to Paris. My flight from Chicago has been delayed 30min so I will arrive approximately at 10.30 at JFK terminal 2 gate C66, my flight to Paris is at 11.20 terminal 1.its on the same company and won't have to pick up my luggage. Can I make it?

On arrival at T2 follow signs to the 'Airline Terminals Train' which makes its continuous round between JFK's terminals (counter-clockwise) - your next stops would be T1, where you need to go through security check first, then proceed to your gate. You have sufficient transfer time.
