  • AlItalia to Air France

Hi, I'm traveling from Rome to US and connecting via CDG. I believe I don't have to change terminals as I am arriving via Alitalia and departing with Air France booked through deltavacations, but have 1 hour in between to connect. Do I need to go through customs if it's the same terminal (2F) ? Thanks.

At CDG Alitalia uses T2D, F & G, while Air France uses T2C, D, E F. If You arrive at 2F (Schengen /domestic flights). Your ticket should indicate which terminal you depart from, T2C, T2D, T2E or T2F. For transfers open: aeroportsdeparis.fr/ADP/en-GB/Passagers/Access-maps-car-parks/guide-connection-flight/ - click on your arriving and on your departing terminals; then follow instructions below it for connections.

  • 30 minute connection time

IIs 30 minutes enough time to connect from Alaska Airlines # 2294 (operated by Horizon Air) to JetBlue # 908? Flights are booked separately and there is no luggage.

If you check in online before you leave, it's barely enough time, but there's zero room for error and if you miss your connection you won't be reaccomodated.

Thank you for the reply. In what direction does the underground train travel? In other words, does it go from the North Satellite to Gates D, then C, then back to the North Satellite or does it travel from North Satellite to Gates C, then D, then back to the North Satellite?

What do you think, is 3 hours enough time to transfer from International Terminal to Terminal 3? I arrive at 16.15 from Frankfurt and depart at 19.30 from Terminal 3 to HNL.

Yes, that should be enough time.

Is there a kiosk for tickets for a US Airways flight and if so, where is it located?

Yes, US Airways has ticketing kiosks, the are located by their ticket counter in Terminal A.

We are flying in from SF and transferring to a flight to Anchorage, all on Alaska. One of our party will be getting wheelchair to assist. We only have an hour between flights. Do you know if we change concourse and if we will have enough time?

Alaska operates from a few different concourses. You won't know until the day of your flight what gates you will use, but you will have enough time.

I will be flying in from Santiago Dominican Republic on jet blue flight 1536 and transferring to jet blue flight 71 with one hour and fifty minutes to go through customs and recheck bags. Is that enough time?

The PHL terminal map says that Spirit airline is in Terminal A. Their is no Terminal A. Only Concourse A east and A west. So where should I go

You looked at the overview map of PHL; when clicking on 'Terminal A' on top, you get TA's map showing clearly gates 14-17 in the main terminal, and gates 18-26 at Concourse A West, and gates 1-13 at Concourse A East. Your boarding pass & the overhead screens will indicate flight & gate number.

coming in from ORD thru ATL domestic- needing to catch a flight to UVF from international terminal gate A04 in 1 hr - will that be possible if all on time? What is quickest route/

You will know your exact gates day of departure. All gates at ATL are connected beyond security with the Plane Train that runs underground between all the concourses. You don't have to go from a "domestic terminal" to "international terminal".

  • Youth travelling alone from Vancouver to Charleston on United

My 15 year old is traveling alone on United from Vancouver to Charleston with a 58 minute layover at IAH on Aug 13. How do I find out what terminals he will be flying in and out of so I can help prepare him for this first solo flight? Is 58 minutes enough time?

    1. On arrival at Vancouver YVR airport, after checking in, he will proceed to the U.S. Customs clearance and on to the U.S.-dedicated gate, which will be indicated on his boarding pass, as well as on the overhead screens for departing/arriving airlines. 2. At Houston IAH, United uses Terminals A, B, C & E with corresponding gates, i.e., B60. 3. I suggest you let your son make his own discovery by opening I suggest you open www.ifly.com/yvr & www.ifly.iah, then click on 'Terminal Map' under 'MAPS & DIRECTIONS', and scroll down to the detailed text. Also, under 'Traveler tips' at right top, he'll find 'First-time flyer tips'. 4. His transfer time should suffice.

58 minutes is tight but doable for the connection in IAH. He will likely arrive in Terminal C and depart from Terminal B, however he will not know the exact gates until the day of his flight. The TerminaLink train connects the terminals inside security.

Flying from Seattle to Detroit tomorrow. How do I know if connecting flight to Lexington is in same terminal?

All Delta and Delta Connection flights are in the McNamara Terminal, which it sounds like you are on.

Your arrival & departure Terminal, Concourse & gate depends on which airline you take. of the two terminals - McNamara & North Terminal - the latter serves only Air Canada, AirTran, American, Frontier, Lufthansa, Royal Jordanian, Southwest, Spirit, United, US Airways & all charters. All others use McNamara terminal, which has Concourses A,B,C, with corresponding gates (i.e., gate A67). If you need to transfer between terminals, take the shuttle bus running every 10 mins & taking about 10 minutes).

Ignore frjul. It sounds like both of your flights are in the McNamara Terminal as only Delta/Delta Connection flies SEA-DTW or DTW-LEX. You will not have to change terminals.

Thank you so much! I made it home and just as you said it was all in the same terminal. I appreciate your help.

I fly from Amsterdam to Detroit landing at 1040 will I be able to make connecting flight to Miami that leaves at 1215. seeing I will have to clear customs and what not. I hope so I catch another connecting flight from Miami to grand caymans at 1930
