  • Delta to International

We are arriving on a Delta commuter flight at 12:05 PM and have a 1:30 PM Tahiti Nui flight at the International Terminal. 1. Is that enough time? 2. Do we have to exit terminal 5 and go through security again or is there a walkway to the international terminal? It is either 1 1/2 hours or we have to get there like at 6 in the morning and sit until 1:30. Is 1 1/2 hours enough time? Thanks

Your Tahiti Nui flight will depart from the Tom Bradley International Terminal, NOT Terminal 1. You will have to go through security in The International Terminal AND get your Tahiti Nui boarding pass as Delta will not be able to issue it. If you are buying separate tickets you will have to go with the earlier flight - 85 minutes is not enough time to claim bags from Delta, take them to the TBIT, check them with Air Tahiti Nui, then get through security and to your gate.

  • Time to transfer Terminal E arrival to terminal B depart

We land with a group of 20 at 14.10 terminal E and depart on a domestic flight at 16.04 from terminal B - any advice....I know it's going to be a bit tight

Yes, that should be enough time. Just follow the procedures in Terminal E, go through Immigration, claim bags, go through customs, re-check bags, then go through security and take the TerminaLink train to B. If your first flight is on-time you should be OK.

Yes, 2 hours should be enough time.

Hi, Im arriving from Cancun on Spirit (Terminal D) then departing to las vegas (Terminal E) Does spirit have bag re check facilities at terminal D or do we have to take out bags over to terminal E to check them back in? Thanks

Spirit should be able to take your re-check bags in Terminal D.

Hi, we are arriving from Istanbul with Turkish airlines and will continue to Mexico city with İnterjet airlines. We will have 3 hours time for the connection. Do we have to go through the customs in JFK? Do you think we will have enough time?

Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, and go through US Customs. Then you will have to take your bags up to the departure level to check with Interjet as Interjet does not interline with other airlines. It's barely possible within 3 hours. Both flights will be in Terminal 1, which definitely helps.

Thanks, hope we can make it! Any suggestions for doing this quicker?

Sit as far forward on the Turkish flight as you can and don't waste any time.

  • Do we have anough time?

Hi We're coming in on Brussels Airlines SN515 on a friday at 18.55 and flying on with UA647 at 20.30. Do we have to go through immigration, get our bags, recheck them and go through security again? And do we have enough time? Thanks.

Yes, you will arrive at the International Arrivals building, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through Customs, re-check them, go through Security, and then take the Aerotrain to Concourse C or D for your United flight. You should have enough time.

Thanks for answering, I've been to the US many times, but it's my girlfiends first time and she's already stressed about the flight, so I would hate to be stuck in the airport overnight on her first trip overseas :-).

  • time to change planes

Whats the recommended average minutes to change planes in Houston ??

For Domestic to Domestic or Domestic to International the minimum time is 30 minutes but 45 minutes is more comfortable. For International to Domestic or International to International 90 minutes is required.

I'm flying United UA5897 from KC arriving IAH at 9:16 AM, connecting to United UA201 leaving for Honolulu at 10:00 AM. Any idea which terminal I will land in and leave from?

You will arrive in Terminal B and depart from Terminal E. The TerminaLink train connects all terminals inside security.

  • 41 min connection

I am flying into ORD from EWR on United and have 41 minutes to get to my connecting United fight to CVG. Does anyone know if this will be in the same terminal and if it's enough time between flights?

Your flight from EWR will arrive in Terminal 1 and your flight to CVG could depart from Terminal 1 or 2. However, Terminal 1 and 2 are connected inside security by walkways, so you should have enough time if your first flight is on-time.

  • Terminal A to C

We will be arriving in terminal A and going to terminal C. How long will it take to get there?

10-15 minutes. The TerminaLink train connects all terminals inside security.

  • Can you get from Concourse C to A in 50 minutes

I only have 50 minutes between flights. I arrive at gate C and leave on gate A. Is it possible to arrive on time. Can you walk between gates.

The upper level of ACY is divided into gates 1-6 (left) and 7-10 (right). ACY has no C & A gates. Look for directional signs to your connecting gate. You have enough time!

What airport are you asking this about? You posted it on the page of the Atlantic City airport, which only has one concourse.

  • Long term connection in NY - JFK
    Sep 14, 2014

Hello, I and my family are going to Rome from São Paulo - Brazil through NYC - JFK by Delta. We will arrive at 07:00 AM and leave at 11:30 PM. I would like to know if we will have to take the baggage and re-check it or if it will automatically be transferred by the company. Other question is: as it is long term connection could we leave the airport and visit Manhattan or we will have to stay waiting in JFK?

Yes, you will have to claim your bags to go through US Customs. Then you will immediately re-check it with Delta after you clear customs. Once you clear customs you will be outside security and free to go wherever you want. It takes approximately 90 minutes to get from JFK to Manhattan via the AirTrain and Subway.

Hi ZAP, thank you very much. Now, it is much easy.

i have a connecting flight in seattle..im flying in form vancouver and the connecting flight is with emirates. will i hav to go through the baggage claim procedure?

Did you purchase your flight together or separately? You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver.

I will be arriving in seattle from minneapolis with a layover of 1 and 5 min, until my flight to hong kong. both flights are with delta. will i have enough time to get to my hong kong flight? will my arrival from minneapolis and departure to hong kong be in the same terminal?

Yes, that should be enough time. Seattle only has one terminal but six gate areas. Delta uses two different gate areas, however both flights will likely be in the S satellite.

Delta uses the South Satellite for both flights. All you need to do is look at overhead screens & find your connecting gate.
