Decent tapasbar from quality point of view, rather small portions, even for an airport bar.

I have a long time between flights at IAH. I get in at midnight and the next flight isn't until 7am. are ther sleeping booths available at this airport and where are they located

No, "sleeping booths" are just coming to America.

You could opt for the massage chairs near gate C43 - if sitting on floor there you get WiFi connection from nearby VIP lounge. Alternatively, open http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g1-i10702-k5639170-Long_layover_in_Houston_IAH_Hotel_or_sleep_in_airport-Air_Travel.html for hotel accommodation suggestions by Air Travel Forum.

  • Terminal to terminal

Is I/2 hr enuf time to get from united express to united tohonolulu

You won't have to exit security, so assuming your first flight is on time it is doable. However, there's little margin for error. I hope you are on an early flight so if you miss your connection you can be rebooked on a later flight (UA has several LAX-HNL).

  • Rome -Lamenzia

We are a party of 7. We are looking at flying from Marseille to Rome on the 17th of September, then hopefully making our connecting flight for Lamenzia. We would arrive in Rome at 12:30 and our connecting flight leaves at 1:15...enough time or not??? Thanks!!!

Since both of your flights are within Schengen it's possible, but you're talking Italy and you're talking Alitalia here, so I wouldn't be surprised if one or both of your flights is late.

It looks like we will be flying from Marseille with Air France, and with Alitalia to Lamenzia...would that make a difference?

Yes, it's a help, since the AF flight is more likely to be on-time. Both will still be within the Schengen area of Terminal 1.

Thanks ZAP..soooo you think that we will be able to make the connection to Lamenzia? One more thing...will we have to get our baggage or will it just be put on the flight to Lamenzia? Thanks so much for the info..it is a great help!!! Deb

Since you're staying within Schengen it should be checked through to Lamezia and you won't have to claim in Rome. It's a very tight connection, so any mess up and you'll miss it, but luckily Alitalia has lots of flights from Rome to Lamezia, so if you miss, you can be rebooked.

Thanks again for all you help!! Deb

  • SAA conection to Virgin America

We arrrive 06:40 with South African Airways from Johannesburg in April and connect 09:40 with Virgin America to Las Vegas. What is the procedure with baggage collection and rechecking and will there be enough time for the connection. Where is the re-check in baggage counter?

It looks like we arrive in Terminal 4 and depart from Terminal 4 not sure?

Yes, so all you will have to do is take your bags upstairs after clearing immigration and check in/check your bags with Virgin America, then go back through security. I don't believe that South African and Virgin America have an interline baggage agreement so I think you'll have to re-check the bags yourself on the ticketing level. Everything is in the same terminal. Regardless, you should have plenty of time to do that.

My flight on Southwest Airlines will Arrive in DENVER CO (DEN) at 08:30 AM and 468 Change planes to Southwest Airlines in DENVER CO (DEN) at 08:55 AM, its only 25 min window, will i be able to make it ? I am worried.

It's doable - all of Southwest's gates in Denver are located close together on the same concourse. If you miss your connection you'll be rebooked on a later flight, good thing you're going early in the morning!

thank you so much, how about checked in baggage ? do i have recheck in or not

No, it will be transferred automatically assuming you check it through to your final destination (which should happen).

Ya , i just hope my flight reach there on time. Thank you so much for your help.

  • Terminal 3 arrive and depart
    Mar 18, 2013

I am arriving at Terminal 3 on V America (from BOS) and departing also on Terminal 3 on Virgin Australia (to BNE) and have 2 hours layover. Since these are on the same terminal, can I assume that I do not have to go through security again (or the departure and arrival areas segregated in such a way that you have to effectively exit and back again)?

Correct, for domestic connections you won't have to go through security again.

How difficult is it to go from T4 to T6? I have difficulty walking, how do I get assistance since I understand I have to go through security again.

Call the operator of your first flight and arrange for wheelchair service if you need it.

  • Time for connection B-C a lot of baggage
    Mar 19, 2013

Hi, How long should take connection from B to C. Arriving from Europe with a lot of baggage and infant on hands Wednesday 2pm April. Thanks

If using different airlines, make sure your first airline will transfer your bags to the second one. As an international arrival, you will need to go through passport check, pick up bags (use the baggage carts there) and go through customs clearance. If airline transfers your bags, simply re-check them in where indicated; you have 2 options: Enlist the help of a Skycap in that area to get you to TC, or take your baggage cart and exit the terminal; then take a taxi to TC (an elevated train runs from terminal to terminal in the unsecured area, but you can't take the cart on it).

  • gate b11 to f8 transfer time

is it possible to do gate b11 to gate f8 inside 40 minutes i land at 22.05 dl1850 and depart at 22.45 dl10 ?

It's possible, you just have to take the plane train between concourses. However, if your first flight is late you'll probably end up spending the night in Atlanta.

  • Time needed from South Terminal E to A

I'm going to be arriving South Terminal E & departing South Terminal A with a 1 hr 14 min connect time. What is the fastest I can connect & how do I get from E to A? I've never been thru ATL before. Thanks!

You just take the plane train between concourses. It shouldn't take more than 20 minutes. ATL, while very large, has a very simple layout.

Thank you very much! I appreciate it!

  • United flight 43 minute connection

We have a flight that arrives at IAH at 9:33 am (United) and leaves at 10:16 am for Roatan, Honduras. Is that enough time?

That's very tight, but doable. Your Roatan flight will likely depart from Terminal E. If you arrive into Terminal A or B, take the TerminaLink train between terminals.

    Thank you for your response

I will be ariving treminal 1 on Emirates airline at 1:05 PM from Australia. I need to get to the domestic terminal to meet a friend and catch van to Hotel. How long will it take me and how do I get to the domestic terminal.

You will arrive at SFO's International Terminal (TI), where you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance, and thereafter, with bags in tow, take the Red-line of the AirTrain (an automated people mover) to one of the two currently operating Terminals 1 or 2. Estimated time Arrival to Domestic Terminal: 1 hr to 1hr 15 mins. For more airport information open I suggest you open www.ifly.com/sfo then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text.
