  • Which terminal do I go to?

I have a flight that I booked through United, with a United flight number. However, it says "operated by US Air." These airlines are at different terminals. I assume I go to the US Air terminal, not the United. Is this correct?

The operating airline determines the departure gate. US Airways both Terminals B with left gates B15-21, right gates B1-B3, center gates B4-B14, and on lower level gates B9a & B9b. (for gates B22-B38 use crosswalks through Terminal B parking).

I fly in on United 1129 Sat.8th Dec at 1215hrs and fly out at 1540 hrs on a KLM flight DL9387. Can I know my arrival terminal and will someone help me make it to my flight on time?

United uses Terminals A, B & E with corresponding gates. On arrival, look at the overhead screens for your departing flight number, gate & time. Look for the TerminaLink train sign. This train, starting at the Terminal A station, connections to Terminals B, C & D/E inside security. Your connecting KLM flight will depart from Terminal D. You have plenty of time for transfer.

  • From Framnkfurt to Mexico city

I am flying via IAD from Frankfurt (Lufthansa) to Mexico city (United Airlines) and I only have 1.45 min for connecting the flight. Is this enough time in 19 of December? What is the faster way to change terminals.?

    1. Lufthansa will arrive at Concourse B of the passenger Terminal; follow signs 'TO BAGGAGE CLAIM / GROUND TRANSPORTATION' - international arrivals will board the shuttle bus to US Customs where you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and re-check-in your bag where indicated. From there you will need to board the shuttle bus to your connecting gate. 2. The Main Terminal has two parallel Midfield Concourses with corresponding gates - A/B & C/D - United uses all concourses. Your ticket & the overhead screens will indicate your flight number & gate: (A gates A1-32; B gates B35-79; C gates C1-30 or D gates D1-32.) Your transfer time should suffice.

  • Going from 2E to 2A

How long and what is the best way to go from 2E to 2A. I have someone arriving after I get there. I arrive at 2E. So is there a transport that I can take from 2E to get to 2A?

Transferring at CDG, Terminal 2 - from Satellite 2E to Satellite 2A - is different for (A)international flight connections or (B) other flight connections: (A) 1. follow 'Flight Connections sign; 2. take free Aeroports de Paris shuttle to 2A (runs every 15-30 mins. (B); on exiting the plane, follow signs for "Exit - Baggage Reclaim"; after going through passport control & customs, follow signs to T2A - or - go to exit 2.04 and take the free Aeroports de Paris shuttle to T2A, running every 18-25 mins

  • United to SAS enough time to transfer

Traveling from Los Angeles via United then have 1:51 to conect to SAS flight to Copenhagen. Anyone knows how long does it take to transfer from United to SAS terminal. My bags should be going directly to Copenhagen. No need to pick them up. is there enought time to transfer?

At IAD, United uses midfield concourses A/B & C/D with corresponding gates. A, B & C gates are connected by the underground Aerotrain making a continuous loop and service gates A1-32, B35-79, and C1-30. (If you arrive at D gates, take the walkway to the C gates and from there, if needed, take the connecting Aerotrain. (follow signs). You have enough time.

landing in gate D6 and flying out of C21, will I be able to make my flight.

On arrival at ATL, walk towards D16 and take the escalator down to the Plain Train (follow signs) which stops in the center of all of ATL's Concourses - at Concourse C it stops between gates C31 & C21.

i'm flying in on united flight UA 218 from honolulu on dec. 13. what terminal will this be?

I'm arriving US Airways and switching airlines to United. I have a 57 minute layover. I think I'm arriving in Concourse D and I have to go to A. Will this be enough time? I've never been to this airport and I'm arriving at 9pm. Is the shuttle bus the only way to get from D to A?

While US Airways is listed as serving the Z gates - part of the Main Terminal of IAD - United Uses Midfield Concourses A, B, C & D. A shuttle to the A gates departs near gate D11 & Starbucks (D gates are not served by the AeroTrain. From Concourse A you can walk to the Main Terminal and its Z gates. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/iad and click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS, then scroll down to the detailed text below the map. Also check your ticket for gate numbers.

I arrive at terminal 7 Air Canada Flight at 9:55 and have a connection to South African Airlines terminal 4 at 11:15 is that enough time

As both Air Canada & South African airlines belong to the Star Alliance, your bags will automatically be transferred to your connecting gate at JFK. On arrival at T7 (provided you went through US customs clearance in Canada) follow signs to the Airtrain running on average every 8 mins between all terminals, but at pre-security areas. At T4 you need to go through security check before proceeding to your gate. If your departing Canada airport has no customs clearance, you would have to go through passport check, pick up your bags, go through customs clearance and re-check-in your bags where indicated. Either way you should have enough time for transfer.

Hi, can u please tell me where to go will arrive LAX from MIA thru AA and my next flight for HKG Cathay Pacific . I need to pick up my checked luggage coz it's not a connecting flight. Is 4 hrs enough time to transfer from AA to Cathay Pacific? Please help..Thanks

No problem! You arrive via AA at Terminal 4, where you go down to the baggage claim and pick up your bag; You need to take your bag along to your connecting terminal TBIT (Bradley or TB), where you need to check your bag in at the Departures level with Cathay, then go through security check and on to your gates. I suggest you grab a trolley outside of T4 and walk with it over to TBIT, which is around the corner. Another option is to take the Blue bus stopping at the isle front of T4 to your next stop, TBIT, the bus comes around every 10-15 mins and takes only minutes to get to TBIT. You have plenty of time at TBIT to each and/or shop, just watch the overhead screens for your flight departure and gate (at TBIT, past TSA Screening at left are gates 106 - 101; and past TSA Screening at right are gates 119 to123, with access to bus gates 136 to 146.

  • How to get from TBIT to Terminal 6
    Dec 3, 2012

Can you walk from TBIT to Terminal 6 or is a shuttle bus required? Also is a 3 hour transit time sufficient when arriving at the TBIT ex Qantas and transferring to Alaskan terminal 6.

    1. You need to find out from Qantas if they transfer your bags to Alaska's connecting flight - if not, you need, on arrival at TBIT, go down to the baggage claim area and retrieve your bags, taking them to T6 and checking them in at the Alaska counter on the Departures level. 2. As an International arrival at LAX (unless you have gone through US customs clearance by participating airports) you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in bag where indicated (if bags are being transferred automatically). Count on 35-5 mins for this procedure. 3. Thereafter, exit TBIT and take the the LAX bus Route A on lower arrival level island in front of each terminal, under sign 'LAX shuttle airline connection', which runs every 12-15 mins. - next stop (to the right) T4, T5 & T6) - you can also walk around the bend to T4, walk over to T5, go down escalator to tunnel to T6, up escalator to ground level and on to the security check and gates. You have plenty of time.
