    Bus A (Airline Connections)

THX. how busy do u think it is

It really depends on the time of day, but the lower level at LAX is usually kind of a mess.

Hi I have 1 hour 20 minutes to get from terminal 7 to 2 ua flight and air Canada flight at terminal 2. I'm new to lax and I need help

You can take the shuttle on the baggage claim level or walk straight across the area between the terminals on the baggage claim level. Either way hope your flight is on-time and RUN. If there's a lot of traffic when you come out the doors, I'd definitely try to hoof it over to T2.

thank you for your response. I just thought it would be easier if I can pay one of the skycap I think that is what they are called and not worry about lifting my heavy luggage! Is that a possibility? If so where can I find them? Thank you again for taking the time to answer me.

Skycaps are outside & inside the baggage claim areas of each terminal. Terminals are 1 & 8 are far apart. Not sure if Skycaps would do the transfer.

is there a service to accompany my elderly client from T5 to T2 Jet Blue to Delta international departure, using two tickets? a paid service would be wonderful

  • Mexico to Brisbane, Australia connection

I'm travelling from Mexico City on AA658 to Dallas FW then onto Brisbane, Australia on QF008. The flight on the Mexico leg arrives at 2005 and the Qantas flight leaves at 21.55. Will I have time to make the connection through immigration and security?

You arrive & depart from Terminal D of DFW. On arrival, you need to go through passport check, pick up your bags, go through customs clearance, re-check-in your bag (if AA transfer bags to Qantas), go through security check and proceed on to your connecting gate (Terminal D has gates D6-40). NOTE if AA does not transfer your bags, you need, after customs clearance, check in your bag with Qantas. Your time should suffice.

40 min connecting time in Nov. Should I be concerned?

If your flight is on-time you'll be fine. Both flights will be on the same concourse (even though it's a big concourse). Connecting on Delta in DTW is very simple.

  • 56 minutes to transfer btw C and E

I'm quite worried as I have 56 minutes to transfer between Houston Terminal C (United Airlines) and Terminal E (flying Lufthansa). Will this be sufficient time (I'm a fit walker) ? Thank you.

Yep, you'll have to hope your first flight is on-time, but it's doable.

My passport is China and I will travel from Tokyo to Montreal, and transfer in the T8 of JFK by AA. (arrive at T8, at leave from T8) I wonder that whether I need a transmit visa when I transfer in the same terminal?

You do indeed need a C-1 transit visa.

  • Delta terminal 3 to Etihad terminal 4
    Apr 17, 2013

I booked a ticket through Delta and will arrive in JFK terminal 3. I then booked a separate ticket through Etihad which is in terminal 4. My question is how would I do this? Would I go collect my baggage from terminal 3 then use the airtran to terminal 4 and then check my baggage in terminal 4 at the Etihad counter and finally go through security again? thanks... by the way my flight arrives at 3 PM at JFK and my Etihad flight doesn't leave until 10:30 PM, so I will have plenty of time shouldn't I?

Yes, that is how you would do it and yes, you will have plenty of time. In fact the Etihad counter may not be open when you arrive.

  • from T8 to T1

Hi all, I will be traveling with a 3 y o and an 11 y o. I will land on T8 and have to get my luggage and make to T1 and have 4 and a half hours of layover time. I was just wondering if there is any help I can pay for to get all my luggage and help me with it all the way to T1. What are my options?

I take it you already checked with your first airline and it does NOT transfer bags to your connecting airline. In which case you should, on arrival, proceed to the baggage claim area, pick up a cart, load your bags, then take the elevator to the the 'Airline Terminals Train' - unload your cart before boarding the train to T1, your next stop. At T1, grab a cart and proceed to the check-in area. Alternatively, get a taxi.

  • MEX via UA 头SFO connecting China Easter
    Apr 17, 2013

I will fly from MEX to SFO via UA, and then connect to SHanghai via China Eastern. I know that I need to claim my baggage and go to a Connecting Baggage Desk. Just want to know if I can drop my baggage in this desk for connecting China Eastern Airline, or I need to go to another China Eastern airline check in counter, which I don't know where.

China Eastern hasn't started service to SFO yet, so it's not entirely clear what they'll have there, but if the re-check desk at SFO won't take your bags, then you will just have to take them up to the departures level of the same terminal you're already in (the International Terminal) and find the China Eastern counter.

  • Domestic South To International Terminal

we will have 1 hr and 5 min to go from Domestic south terminal Delta Airline to International Terminal. Is it enough time? Which is the shortest way? We will arrive in ATL at 9:00am. This is our first time using ATL airport. Thanks!!

Your domestic flight will arrive at one of the lettered concourses, not the south terminal. You just have to take the plane train from the concourse you come in to to concourse E where your international flight will depart from.

I saw on ATL website. They have terminal F for international. Since we have really short connection time for international flight, we want to plan ahead. Please advice.

Delta uses both E and F for international flights.

I am coming in to ATL from Nassau on 5/27 at 7:30 pm and connecting to a flight to CLT at 8:50 - is this a problem with my connection time?

  • Customs at CLT then connecting flight

Hi. I have a flight coming from Italy to CLT and then connects to RDU. I am considering getting out of the airport at CLT as my house is equidistant between the two airports. Is it correct that I will have to collect my bags at Customs in CLT? Perhaps at that time I can decide to head home from there or carry on to RDU. ?

Yes, you will go through immigration in CLT and collect your bags.
