So can i handle the luggage all by my self. When you get your bags, can you find a cart right around there easily and do you have to go downstairs or something if yes is there an elevator to take with the cart to catch the airtrain? Sorry for my dum questions. I just don't like the unknown. Many thanks again.

The baggage claim is on the ground level where you find the carts. Then look for the Airline Terminals Train sign and head for the train. However, you can't take the cart onto the train!

The reason I downloaded it was for shuttle info. And so far NOTHING! Anyone able to help??

No need to use a shuttle inside the terminal. If you refer to a shuttle into town, these are your options: 1. The 'Airport Flyer' bus, which runs to downtown Austin and also stops at the University of Texas; 2. The SuperShuttle (tel. 1-800-258-3826). 3. The MetroBus (tel. 512-474-1200) Bus100 starts service at the terminal's lower level at 5:20am, stopping at Pleasant Valley East 7th; at 6th Brazos, at 18th Congress & at 26th Speedway.

I see that IAH is very large! I fly United that is scattered among many terminals! How can I locate the one where I should be tomarrow for my flight? I'm traveling to LAX.

flights from IAH to LAX mostly leave from Terminal C (slight chance of Terminal E). You can check in in C and if your flight leaves from E, you can walk there easily. you can check the departure gate at united.com as well.

I'm coming in from Rome on Delta at 4:40 pm, need to connect to Delta domestic flight to Detroit at 6:15. Do I have to go through customs and immigration? Which terminal will I likely be arriving at? Departing from? What kind of terminal to terminal transportation is available? Is this time line manageable?

Yes, you will have to go through immigration in JFK. Your flight will arrive in Terminal 3 and depart from Terminal 2. There is a walkway between the two terminals. With the amount of time that it commonly takes to get through immigration in New York, I think there's a good chance you will miss your connection and have to spend the night in New York unless your flight from Rome gets in quite early. You are on the last JFK-DTW flight of the day.

Thanks for this very useful information.

What is the best/fastest way to connect arriving on Jet Blue at 12PM and need to connect to Korean Air leaving at 2PM.

You have to take the Air Train and hurry! If your Jet Blue flight is delayed at all you will miss your connection.

Thank you, that is what I am afraid of with this recent furloughs.

layover in newark from milan 1.30 min. Do I still have enough time to get to my conneciton flight? Do i have to take shuttle to my connection flight and also do i have to go through customs?

I really don't know if that will be enough time. Generally Immigration can take up to an hour so either your flight from Milan will have to be early or you will have to be really lucky to make your connection. You may or may not have to take a shuttle to terminal A (depends on where your [presumably] United Express flight to Atlanta leaves from. If you're flying Delta to Atlanta you need to take the Airtrain to terminal B.

Is any telephone number available for the lost and found arrivals in termnal 2?

At ORD, if you lost an item near ticket counters, gate areas or on your airpplane, contact your airline. If you lost an item at the security checkpoint, contact TSA at 773-377-1210. . If you lost an item in the public areas of the terminal, contact the Chicago Police at 773-686-2385.

I am arriving at TC gate c113 and I have a 50 minute connections which appears to go out og gate A28 which I assume is TA . I am confused on shuttle vs airtrain and which to take

On arrival at TC, the shuttle bus to TA is near gate C71, and you arrive at TA near gate A28 - no need to go through security, while taking the train requires going through security check.

Hi, I'll be arriving at JFK on Jet Blue and leaving on Air Berlin, What are the terminal numbers and how long does it take to get from one to the other, AND is there transportation or is it a walk

JetBlue uses terminal 5 and Air Berlin uses Terminal 8. Take the Airtrain between the terminals. Budget about an hour for your connection, a little more if you have to claim bags with JetBlue and take them to Air Berlin. (this is assuming your JetBlue flight is domestic).

thank you so much. Your reply is extremely helpful

Hi, I'll arrive from Italy to Terminal 8 and I'll leave from the same Terminal 8 to SFO, I 'm travelling with the same company AA, my baggage will be transferred on the second fly directly or should I retrive it from my self? thanks a lot

You will have to collect it in immigration and then immediately re-check it with AA when you exit customs.

Thanks for your response, I've another question, are enough 2 hours for immigration-take baggage-check in and pass security check ?

Flying qantas from Brisbane to Vancouver layover 3hours in LAX. Continuing code share with Alaska airlines to Vancouver. Will qantas do seat allocation for the alaska airlines or do i have to get that at ALaska Airlines at LAX

Hey Mate, No Qantas wont do the seat allocation for you online. Your preferences will be forward to AS but that is all. If you LAX-YVR was with Alaskan ticket number you can pick seats that way, though I assume you have a qantas ticket the whole way though. When you are at the gate, listen for your name as usually they want to see your passport again and sometimes will issue you with an AS boarding pass. This can be avoided if you go to the AS counter when at Terminal 6 (if can be bothered).

Today Midway TSA was horrible. 5:21am for a 6:10 flight and it took 45 minutes. Who imagines a 45 min wait at 5:30 in the morning. Missed my flight.. I too, would return to O'Hare, since I live closer, if Midway doesn't improve.

Security is awful at Midway - it is much better at O'hare. I advise people to arrive at least 1.5 hours before their flight from Midway.

Really? I have never had a problem going through security at Midway, while I find security at O'Hare to be usually a nightmare, no matter what time of day I'm traveling.

Moron. You should always arrive at an airport at least 2 hours in advance, if not more. Don't expect to get through quickly as I've witnessed many flyers hold up the lines. Security is shorthanded, and add to that assisting ill-prepared passengers takes time because the new passengers haven't a clue how to navigate through. Stop whining, arrive earlier and read a newspaper or book while you wait for your plane.
