Has the Delta's terminal bridge connecting terminal C and terminal D opened yet? If it has, does it having moving walkways? Thanks

The 650-foot bridge between TC & TD is under construction - no completion time has yet been announced, & so far no indication for moving walkways.

  • Arrival Term.l A - Departure Term F

Hello everybody i will arrive on PHL Terminal A at June, 15th 13.55 and have to get my next flight to Cleveland on Terminal F at 15.45. Is this doable? What is the best way to get from A to F. Should i take this shuttle bus? Thank you very much!

You have enough time. Note, however, that if you are an international arrival at PHL, you will arrive at Terminal A-West where you go through passport check, pick up bags, go through customs clearance and recheck-in your bags, before proceeding to Terminal F. Transfer from Terminal A-East/A-West via US Airways shuttle bus is at gate A1 to Terminal F, gate F14.

Is it sure that i have to re-check my baggage? My flight to PHL is US Airways and my connecting flight (to Cleveland) is also US Airways. Should the baggage not be transferred to my connecting flight? Maybe one more question to my flight back. I will arrive at PHL Terminal C and my connecting flight is departing from Terminal A in PHL. But i do onlöy have 1:00 hour time get my connecting flight at Terminal A. I think this will be too short. How is the baggage handled in this case (flight back)? Thank you.

When you arrive in the US from overseas you always have to claim your baggage, then go through customs and re-check. You haven't said if your first flight is international or not. If it's not then you don't have to worry about re-checking.

Sorry, i forgot to mention that i come in with an internatiomal flight from Germany. But on my way back i will arrive at PHL Terminal C coming from CLE and then depart from Terminal A back to Germany. That means that i do not have to recheck-in my luggage in PHL. So i think one hour should be enough time to get from Terminal C to A, isn't it?

Yes, on your way TO Germany you won't have to do anything with your baggage. An hour should be enough time.

  • Knee replaced how to go fr term E to B

My mom is flying into term E in the AM and needs to get to term gate B81. 2.5 hr layover. Top it off, she doesn't read English well. Pls recommend best way to make the transfer.

On arrival at Terminal E of IAH, your mother can take the above-ground TerminaLink train, which starts its service at the Terminal A station & connects terminals A, B, C, D/E inside security (allow for 30 mins transfer from A to D). Internationally recognized signs will guide her. However, you could arrange for wheelchair pickup at arrival gate by contacting her airline. If your mother is an international arrival, I suggest you open www.ifly.com/iah and open 'Terminal Map' under 'Maps & Directions' for further details.

I am arriving on UA from memphis and need to transfer to Turkish Airline at Terminal D. How fast can I transfer from A to D. I have 1 hr 50 min between flight. Please advise

You take the TerminaLink train which is inside security. It should not take more than 25 minutes.

I will be arriving into Amsterdam from the US on Monday and have one hour to connect to an Air Baltic flight. Do you know the best way to get through customs and where the Air Baltic flights leave from?

Open http://www.schiphol.nl/Travellers/FlightInformation/Timetable/TimetableOverview.htm and complete the search area of the Schiphol flight time table. On arrival you need to go through non-Schengen passport control, proceed to baggage belts on round level, & go through customs. Note: Arrivals 1 & 2 areas lead up to Departures 1 & 2; and Arrivals 3 & 4 lead up to Departure 3. Departures 1 uses the B, C & D gates; Departures 2 uses the E gates; Departure 3 uses F, G, H & M gates. (Arrivals 1 & 2 and Arrivals 3 & 4 are on opposite sides of the center.) One hour is tight, but doable.

arriving 5/28 at 6:34pm on United & transferring to Lufthansa with a 1 Hr. 41 min. transfer time. do we need to go through security again? Which transport vehicle should we use?

At EWR may may arrive via United either at Terminals A or C and need to get to Lufthansa flight at Terminal B: On arrival, hop on the AirTrain (serving pre-security, non-sterile areas on the Gate Level of all terminals (taking a few minutes); however at Terminal B you need to go through security check first before proceeding to your gate. You have enough time.

As a flight attendant I advise all passengers to give themselves at least an hour and a half for international connections. You are counting on no weather delays, no delays due to inbound aircraft. It takes 15 minutes to fully deplane an aircraft so depending on where you are seated that time can be taken up which gives you only 35 minutes to get to your gate before I misconnect. There are so many factors to consider when traveling ie: the weather, time of day, is there a later flight to the same destination you can be booked on. As the consumer you have options. I personally would give myself a longer grace time in between flights.

I will be traveling on aa which comes into terminal d. I am going to set up a global entry interview which i guess is in terminal j. How long does it take to get between terminal d and j

    1. MIA's three passenger terminals are arranged in a semi-circle: North Terminal with Concourse D & Customs facilities; Central Terminal, & South Terminal with Concourses H & J. 2. International Arrivals from Concourses D are processed in the new North Terminal's Arrivals Facility. Unless you have gone through US customs clearance by participating airports, you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in bag on level 2, from which you can then connect to your next flight. The new passport control center with 72 processing has six lanes specifically for Global Entry program members - inquire when going through passport check for location of Global Entry interview.

  • T5 to T3

I'm a bit nervous about my connecting flight at ORD Arrive AA at T5 gate M1 at 5:00pm. And then depart AA at 6:40pm from T3. I checked connecting times and it said 1hr30mins. So I feel it can be done if everything is in time. But I don't know the routine. What will I have to do? Leave secure area and recheck in at the new terminal? Customs? Get bags?

Yes, you will claim your bags in immigration, then re-check them with American when you exit customs. Then go upstairs and take the ATS train to T3, then go through security again and go to your gate. Since both of your flights are on American you should get both boarding passes when you check in for your first flight. Immigration has been pretty slow lately so there's a decent chance you'll miss your connection. Hopefully there's another later flight to your final destination that you can be rebooked on if that's the case.

  • Connecting Terminal E to C

Arriving UA into Terminal E from Calgary and leaving UA Terminal C to Tampa with 1 hour connection time. Is this connecting time OK?

Calgary has US customs clearance & baggage transfer - all you need to do on arrival at IAH's Terminal E is to take the above-ground TerminaLink train to Terminal C running inside security area. C gates after train station are C24-27, C14-23 (center) & C2-14.

Thanks for comments but my main concern is the 1 hour connection between Terminals E and C. Is this sufficent time to make the connection?

Bought a tiny sandwich and juice. It cosy $15! Prices are not clearly labelled. It was the worst sandwich of my life. Tasted like someone vomited between two pieces of bread. That's fine but it should be clearly labelled as a vomit sandwich for $9.50.

Hi, I am flying with SN 8838 from Orlando to Washington Dulles, arriving at 16:22, and leaving at 17:10 to Brussels with SN 8802. Do you think 50 minutes will be enough to make the connection ? Thank you in advance !

Brussels Airline is uses the main terminal. On arrival look at the overhead screens to find your connecting gate. You have enough time.

Note that SN8838 is United 326 and SN8802 is United 140. Both flights will operate from the C/D concourse at IAD. If your first flight is on-time you will have enough time.
