  • Baggage and customs

I'm from Brazil and go to Orlando, with connection in MIA. My air company is AA

Assuming that you use American Airlines for both legs of your trip, note that AA uses both Concourse D in the North Terminal and Concourse E in the Central Terminal. All international arrivals will be processed in the new North Terminal's Arrivals Facility. There you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and re-check-in bag on level 2, from which you can then connect to your next flight. On the second level are 5 baggage claim carousels, and there is access to the Sky Train on either side, connecting to all other gates. MIA is easy to navigate with plenty of directional signs.

    Thank you very much

Bottled water: Expect to pay $16/gallon for bottled water (after hearing the price, and then having to confirm it because I didn't believe that 20oz of water would cost four bucks, I declined). Monopolies suck, and I imagine the rest of their prices are just as monumentally insane. Avoid.

  • Flying in on Cape Air what arrival gate

Leaving on Delta to Atlanta What gate departure?

From Cape Air to Delta do I have to go through security?

At STL, both CapeAir and Delta use Terminal 1. However, Delta uses Concourse A with gates A2-21, while Cape Air uses Concourse C with gates C1-24. On arrival just follow signs to C gates - no need for security check.

  • Find TBIT

When i get to (LAX ) T 7 how do i get to TBIT ?

    1. If your first flight does not forward your bags to your second flight, you need to claim them at the baggage level and take them on the bus to TBIT, then check them in with your connecting airline. Otherwise, You have two options: On Arrival at LAX proceed to the Arrivals level, take escalator down to the tunnel connecting T7 - T4; take escalator up to ground level, and proceed outside to the left to TBIT - about 10 mins walk at most. OR: take the LAX bus Route A on lower arrival level island in front of each terminal, under sign 'LAX shuttle airline connection', which runs every 12-15 mins - 4 stops or 10 mins. In any event you need to go through security check at TBIT before proceeding to your gate.

I first take DL110 to LA, then MU586, which terminal I should in ATL? Thanks

Your ticket and, on arrival at ATL, the overhead screen, will indicate your connecting flight number & gate. For more information about ATL and connections, I suggest you open www.ifly.com/ then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text.

  • Move from T3 to T1 to meet my son

I am arriving at T3 and wanted to meet up with my son arriving at T1 on the same day. Can I move to T1 ? Do I need to clear custom / immigration ?

As a 'non-Schengen' (foreign) arrival at FCO you need to go through passport check & possibly through customs clearance. Shuttle buses run beween the terminals & carparks every 15 mins - request one by using the intercom at every shuttle stop.

  • Finding Baggage Claim and Train Station

I will be arriving in Amsterdam in January and am a bit nervous as I don't speak any Dutch. Are the baggage claim/customs/the train station easy to locate? I'm assumimg there will be ample signage!

There is no need to worry. It is impossible to miss baggage reclaim and the trains, not least since there are more English signs than Dutch signs.

    Thanks so much!

  • going to Vancouver

I will be flying in to Houston from Lima, Peru on Saturday Dec 15th at 6:15am and leave for Vancouver ( YVR) at 5:50PM on flight 1700 with United airlines. Any idea which gate I will likely be leaving from? I'm trying to book with an airport lounge and want to book one near my departure gate! Thanks for any help! And tips on great airport lounges with showers would be helpful!

    1. At IAH United uses Terminals A, B, C & E. 2. If your incoming flight is not by United, you would need to find out if this airline will transfer your bags to your connecting United flight - if not, you would need, after customs, take your bag along to your connecting terminal and check it in there. 3. The International Arrivals building can be accessed from both Terminal E & C, with separate US Customs. Arriving passengers go through customs & take the escalator down to Baggage Claim Level 1. From there they go through Exit Control and enter to the right the baggage recheck area, and straight out arrive at the International Arrivals Lobby, which has an escalator down to the Inter-Terminal Train taking you to your connecting terminal. There seems to be no VIP /airline lounge listing at IAH site; however, you may want to go to the United site and find for such information.

HI I am flying jet blue from denver overnight and will arrive at logan at 5:06 I need to make a connecting jet blue flight that leaves at 6:00. Is that possible in that short of time to make a connection

At BOS, JetBlue uses domestic terminal C - The gate area has to the left gates C11-20; to the right are two gateways to gates C25-36 and to C40-42. On arrival, look at overhead screens and then follow signs to your connecting gate.

  • Rome to Ottawa via IAD

My father travels from Rome to Ottawa via Washington (IAD) on December 14th. He has 2h10min between flights UA967 and UA6012. What is the fastest way to change terminals? Is there enough time? Thank you.

IAD has no flight number listing. United uses Midfield Concourses A, B, C & D. He will also have to go through customs clearance before proceeding to his connecting gate. His boarding gate will indicate his connecting concourse & gate. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/iad, then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text. His time should suffice.

  • Terminal UA3

Can anyone told me which terminal UA3 arrive?thx....

United uses Terminals 6, 7 & 8 - T6 has gates 60-69; T7 gates 70-77; T8 gates 80-88. To search for your flight, open www.lawa.org/fsw and add your Airline where indicated (just type U) - there is no arrival of UA3 listed for today - are you sure you have the right flight number?

MEX FLIGHT 4669 UNITED--FLL 130 UNITED IS 1:00 HOUR ENOUGH TIME TO CONECT????

At IAH, United uses Terminals A, B, C & E. You will most likely arrive at Terminal E. Note: The International Arrivals building can be accessed from both Terminal E & C, with separate US Customs. Arriving passengers go through customs & take the escalator down to Baggage Claim Level 1. From there they go through Exit Control and enter to the right the baggage recheck area, and straight out arrive at the International Arrivals Lobby which has an escalator down to the Inter-Terminal Train to Terminals A, B & C. You should be able to make it within the hour.

  • Parking from T1 to T3
    Dec 10, 2012

I am picking up 2 guests at YYZ, one arriving at T1 and the other at T3 about the same time. I plan to park at T1 for the first pick up and then drive to T3 parking ( Daily Parking lots). Is it a well signaled drive between the 2 terminals or will I get lost in the maze of roads leading out of the airport ?
