  • HOw Much time to leave between flights?

I fly from TUrin to FCO, then USAIR to the US. I am trying to decide how much time to leave between the arrival from Turin and Departure to US? Thank you

First find out if your departing airline from Turin will transfer your bags to US Airways & which boarding area they arrive at - if not, you would have to claim your bags and check them in with US Airways. Terminal 5 with boarding area G is for US flights. T5 can only be accessed from T3 via shuttle bus. All other terminals are connected at their boarding areas. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/fco, then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text.

is there comfortable seating in terminal 1 or concourse B as I have a 4 hr layover in SLC.

SCL has on the second level eateries and stores, with an elevator to the third level's Terrace Restaurant. For more information call 801-359-3273.

How in earth transfering in one hour 25 minutes from SFO International Terminal arrival to SFO Terminal 3 domestic connecting flight..? Luckily, only handbag with... Apparently new "Amazing Race" episode in real life...

25 minutes is not enough, particularly if you are an international arrival. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/sfo then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text. Pay attention to Getting around, Security Check lines & terminal details.

how far is gate d39 from t1

At ATL, there is no T1 - you probably mean TI (the International Terminal Maynard Jackson, also referred to as IT - using Concourses E & F). D gates are in Concourse D (gates D21-D46 & D16-D1), which has in the center the Plane Train taking you to all other Concourses, domestic & international. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/atl, then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text.

  • Arrival at T7 and connecting at T8

I arrive on BA into T7 and then my connecting flight leaves with AA from T8. After passport control and customs, can I check my bags at a transfer desk at T7, or do I have to take them to T8 to check back in again with AA?

BA & AA are members of OneWorld Alliance - your bags will be transferred automatically to your connecting flight. On arrival at JFK, you will need to go through passport check, pick up your bags, go through customs clearance & re-check in your bag where indicated. Thereafter, take the 'Airline Terminals Train' (follow signs), which serves all terminals, making a continuous round between T1 to T8, T7, T5, T4 & T2/3) to your connecting T8, where you need to go through security check before proceeding to your gate. T8 has Concourse B with gate 1-16, while near its gate 14 is access to Concourse C with gates 31-17.

Arrive from CLT at B16 7:30PM 2/9/13, need to get to A10 for international flight departing at 9:05PM. Same airline. Any obstacles i need to be aware of?

At PHL you arrive at Terminal B, Concourse B, and depart from Terminal A-East, Concourse A (gates A1-13) Both Terminals are connected by a post-security walkway (you won't have to go through security check). You have enough time. Just follow signs.

i will fly from roanoke , VA by united airline on 04/10/13 to ord airport i think i will arrival to terminal 2 ,then i will connect to asiana airline at terminal 5 to korea, do i need recheck my bags or the united airline will transfer my bags to asiana airline and do i need to be go to tsa security again at the terminal 5?

Asiana and United are both a Star Alliance members therefore your bags should be checked all the way through.

If your flights were bought on the same reservation then United will transfer your bags to Asiana. Yes, you will have to go through security again in Terminal 5

How do I arrange for wheelchair service to get from terminal 7 to terminal 2 - with my airline

At LAX, all shuttle buses are lift-equipped. The Travelers Disability / Emergency contact is 310-646-7911. When making reservations tel your airline that you need a wheelchair attendant on arrival at T7 to the shuttle bus across from the terminals, and again from T2 to your gate.

On Saturday 23rd. a friend of mine is arriving from Las Vegas flight AA 1614 and his wife is arriving a couple of hours later to the same terminal (flight AA928). Where does he meet her? I know that both flights arrive to Concourse D, but my friend's flight is domestic, and her flight is international.

At MIA, American Airlines uses the Central Terminal with Concourse E and the North Terminal with Concourse D. If your friends are international arrivals, they will be processed in the new North Terminal's Arrivals facility and could meet up in the Arrivals hall near the info desk. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/mia, then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text.

  • flying terminal 7-security terminal4?

I am flying from JFK terminal 7 and my son from JFK terminal 4. Can I check in my luggage at terminal 7 and then check in the luggage of my son at terminal 4, go through security with him at terminal 4, see him boarding at terminal 4 and then go to terminal 7 to board myself?

Yes you can! After checking in your bag at T7, take the Airline Terminals Train (outside of security) to T4, check in at his airline counter and request there a 'non-flying boarding pass', which will get you through security check on to his gate. However, if he is over the age of 10, he will be able to get there on his own by following signs. T4's departure level with check-in counters opens up to the Concourse level with security checkpoint at entrances to Concourse A (gates A2-7) and Concourse B (gates B20-31).
