It is fast through premium class (minutes), but through the regular line, arrive 2-3 hours minimum before time. I have watched airlines refuse boarding to ticketed passengers if they did not meet the international check-in time requirement. Needless to say the passengers were not happy as the re-booking or added hotel costs are on the passengers nickel in such circumstances.

Thank you for sharing your information regarding SFO Skywest changes and security checkpoint lines. You have made a considerable contribution!

Hard as a rock, think the guy thought he could get away with it because he toasted it. Nope. $3 bagel and cream cheese. Not so great American bagels.

Food was just ok. Very small portions way overpriced. Sandwiches are four or five inches long, nothing like in the pictures. Tasty but not filing. I liked the local cookie bites. Spend your money elsewhere.

  • Connections within Terminal D

I am connecting from one flight to another (arriving and departing from Term D) with 40 min in between. I expect to arrive at gate 34 and depart from gate 16. Is it better to walk/run or to take the Skytram? Thanks for the help.

The Skylink stops are near gates D1, D20, D25 & D34. or you can walk. However, if you are an international arrival at DFW, you need to go through passport check, pick up bags, & go through customs clearance before proceeding to your connecting gate - you would not make the connection timewise.

Hello, I would like to know if it is reasonable to book a flight with this connection on a christmas holiday time? Thanks! (only 1h 8min layover) San Diego (San Diego Intl.) to Washington (IAD) UNITED 554 Arrive 8:47pm Washington (IAD) to Munich (Franz Josef Strauss Intl.) Lufthansa 415 Depart 9:55pm

    United uses Concourses A, B & C with corresponding gates. Lufthansa is in Concourse B. The Aerotrain connects in the center A/B & C/D midfield concourses. You have enough time. On arrival at IAD, follow signs 'TO BAGGAGE CLAIM / GROUND TRANSPORTATION'; domestic arrivals at A, B or C gates should follow the AeroTrain sign;

Hi, I am arriving at 6 a.m. on Sept 12 via DL70 and my friend is arriving on the same day 2 hrs 10 mins later via DL266. Can you suggest a place where we can both meet. We will not be having our phones. So please help me? We are both travelling from the US.

When you arrive at AMS, at the baggage claim look at overhead screens for your friend's arrival time and meet him in the Arrivals Hall, closest to the information counter. Inside the first level are separate sections, marked as 'Arrivals 1' through 'Arrivals 4'(find out which Arrival section he will come to: This level also includes Information desks, bars & restaurants, stores, a hairdresser, a service center, a supermarket and baggage storage & lockers.

WHAT TERMINAL IS GATE T-3 LOCATED???

There is no T3 - DFW Airport has Terminals TA through TD with corresponding gates. Open www.ifly.com/dfw, click on "Terminal Map" under QUICK LINKS, scroll down to text & you find details, including airlines serving those terminals.

I have two seperate tickets - IST to IAD with Turkish Airlines (arrival time 5:45 pm) and IAD to SFO with Virgin America (departure time 8:35 pm). Do you think I can make the transfer within 2hr 50 min ? Thank you!

All international arrivals at IAD Airport are being transported to the International Arrivals Building at the west end of the main terminal for TSA clearance. You need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance, and in your case (2 separate tickets) re-check-in your bag at Virgin America counter on arrivals level. (Also you may need a new boarding pass). Your connecting flight is with Virgin America at Midfield Concourse A , which can be reached on foot from the main terminal. You have plenty of time.

Is there a USO at JFK? If so, what terminal?

Have checked - could not find anything - which is really strange, as all other larger US Airports do have a USO. However, I suggest yu call JFK at (718) 244 2444. Also a good place to find related info: US Military personnel: TSA has a very helpful site as to checkpoints, checked bags, firearms transport, disabilityies, and more: Open http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/assistant/editorial_1880.shtm

  • Transferring 2E to 2F

I'm traveling from Atlanta to Cairo in November 2012, all on Air France. I'm confused about arriving in 2E and leaving 2F. I have about 2 hours. Do I have to go through security again? Do I have time?

At CDG, the common area links halls 2C through 2F - On arrival follow signs. you have enough time.

I am arriving on Air France in terminal 2E and need to go to terminal 2F in one hour. What is the best and quickest way of accomplishing this?

HELLO, MY SON IS FLYING FROM MEXICO AND ARRIVING TO TERMINAL 5, THEN HE HAS TO TAKE A FLIGHT TO FLINT, MI IN TERMINAL 3 WITH AA, WHATN DOES HE HAS TO DO WITH HIS BAGAGGE, THEN HOW DOES HE HAS TO GO TO TERMINAL 3?

Once he clears passport control and takes his bag thru customs/immigration, AA has a recheck counter where he will leave his bag before getting on the airport transit system to terminal 3.

  • SFO to IAH to CUN

We are flying Sunday 9/9/12 from San Francisco to Cancun, connecting in Houston. I was told by SFO to go to Domestic Departures there. I assume we will have to go thru customs in Houston as checking in for flight to Cancun. Do we have to get our bags from baggage clain and recheck them in Houston. We are flying United but I do not have terminal info yet.

If you use United for both legs of your journey, note that United uses Terminals A, B, C & E at IAH Airport - Your ticket & overhead screens on arrival will tell you which terminal you connect to. Your bags will automatically be transferred to your connecting flight. If you need to transfer to another terminal use above-ground TerminaLink train, which starts its service at the Terminal A station, & connects terminals A, B, C, D/E inside security.

  • 45 min to connect both on Term 5

45 min layover between Delta flight 2168 to Delta flight 1735. They both are in Terminal 5. Can a person make the flight and how far away is it?

On arrival at LAX Airport look at overhead screens to find your connecting gate, then walk towards it. T5 has gates 51-59.
