comming with Air France AF 3622 at 12:35 and had to leave to Victoria at 14:20 with Alaska Airlines AS 2386. Is it enough time and where to go?

You arrive at SEA from CDG at the South Satellite's Gate S2, and depart from the Main Terminal's Concourse B, gate B3. On arrival, you go through immigration clearance, pick up checked luggage, continue to customs & recheck your luggage and go through TSA security screening prior to proceeding to your connecting flight. To get from the South Satellite to the your connecting Alaska flight, you need to take the South Train Loop to the Main Terminal and head for Concourse B. Estimated transfer time: 1 hr 15 mins. at most. Caution: If AF does not transfer bags to Alaska flight, you would have to take them to main terminal & check them in there.

I have 59 minutes to get from Terminal S to Terminal I to catch connection. Can you tell me if that is sufficient time and what is best route

ATL's domestic terminal is divided on either side of the center by North & South domestic Terminals (TN & TS) - each with specific airlines: TN has AirTran, American, Frontier, Georgia Skies, Silver, Southwest, Spirit, United & US Airways; TS has Alaska & Delta. After security check you have access via Plane Train to all gates A through F - Gates E & F being the international gates for TI (International Terminal). No time to waste, but you should be able to make it in time. Your boarding pass should indicate connecting gate number (i.e., E10, F10).

  • International Connection

We arrive at Detroit at 3:11 pm from Milwaukee and have an international flight that leaves at 4:00 to Amsterdam. That seems very tight. Should I try to change flights?

At DTW, the North Terminal with D gates serves Air Canada, AirTran, American, Frontier, Lufthansa, Royal Jordanian, Southwest, Spirit, United, US Airways & all charters. All other airlines are in the McNamara Terminal with A, B & C gates. If you would need to transfer between the 2 terminals, as you would need the shuttle (16-20 mins) and at connecting Terminal go through security check. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/ then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text.

Both of your flights will be in the same Terminal (the McNamara Terminal). It's a doable connection. Also if you miss your flight to Amsterdam, there will be another later that evening.

  • Should I request a later flight?

I'm arriving from HNL in Terminal 2 at 5:06 a.m. and my departure is from Terminal 5 at 5:45 a.m. Is this enough time? I've never flown before and am worried I will miss my connecting flight!

    1. Never make reservations where you only have around half an hour transfer time, unless you arrive at & depart from the same terminal of a smaller airport (or in large Airports even sometimes the same Concourse). 2. When making reservations ask if your initial airline will transfer your bags to your connecting airline's flight. 3. Note also that at LAX, when transferring to another terminal, you need to exit incoming terminal and go through security check (30-45 mins) at outgoing terminal before proceeding to your gate. 5. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/lax then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text - pay attention to "Getting Around LAX" & Central Terminal Area's Terminals". (being new to LAX I suggest you take the Blue Bus for transfer.)

  • Are there lockers at O'Hare

Looking for lockers. Traveling from cold to warm and in need of a way to store coats until return.

Lockers at ORD?? They just started to emerge from the Middle Ages, give them time.... Sure would make sense to have lockers in all airports of the snow belt!

  • my mistake..need to get from F to B

Hi, Please disregard previous post. My flight arrives at F, but then I need to connect to the next flight at B. I would imagine I take the shuttle from F-14 to C-16. My bigger concern is will I need to go through security again at B? I know that with the construction going on around F recently you get routed out of the air side of the terminal when going to or from F. Thanks!

Forgot to also add....is the hour layover still enough time to make the connection?

On arrival at PHL, at Terminal F, take the US Airways shuttle bus at gate F14, taking you to Terminals B/C, gate C16, where you can then walk over at post-security to your connecting B gate. Count on at least 30 mins. bus transfer time. You have enough time.

I will arrive in Term F and have to shuttle to Terminal A. I have been told that US Airways supplies a bus shuttle. Will I have to go through TSA at Terminal A if I take the US Airways Shuttle. I have only 45 minutes.

At PHL, US Airways shuttle takes you at gate F14 to gate A1. Your gate is in Concourse A-East (Gates A1-A13). No TSA needed.

Is 45 minutes enough time to get from terminal F28 to A20?

  • Changing Terminal

We are flying from Toronto at the end of March and will have to change terminals from C to D and have an hour between flights. Will that be enough time or will it be rushed? We will only have to take our carry ons and will be cleared through customs in Toronto.

At Toronto you will go through US customs clearance, saving time at LaGuardia. While Terminals are presently not connected, you will need to exit TC and walk to the adjacent TD; since there is presently construction activity for the new connector to TC & TD, follow signs. Alternatively you can take the free Route A shuttle bus running every 10-15 mins. At TD (gates D1-D11) you need to go through security check before getting to your connecting gate. NOTE: Terminal B has also a Concourse D (for American Airlines, gates D2-D10). Make sure you got the right terminal! For more information open www.ifly.com/lga, then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text.

My brother is mentally challenged is there any help at the airport to get him from Terminal A to Terminal B, he only has 45 minutes.

While Terminals A & B are close together, and the above-ground TerminaLink train starts its round at TA inside of security (next stop TB), you should contact his airline ahead of departure. Also, you may want to contact IAH Airport's Administrative Office at 281-230-3100.

I am flying from Grand Cayman to IAD and clear customs at IAD. I have a 1hr37min layover. Will I have enough time to clear customs and catch my next flight?

On arrival at IAD you wille transported to the Iternational Arrivals Bldg. at west end of Main Terminal for TSA clearance (Passport control, bag pickup, customs clearance, & bag recheck-in). Thereafter you need to take the shuttle bus to D gates or the or the AeroTrain to theA, B & C gates. Your transfer time could be tight, depending on waiting lines and incoming flight delay. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/iad,then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text.

  • Do I need to re-check thru security?

Moving between Gates C and D is there security to pass through when getting a connecting flight? Thanks

Keep in mind that C gates are part of Terminal 1; however, they are long and use the C gate tram (arriving at Baggage claim level; right adjacent to your arriving C gate tram is the D gate tram to the more distant Satellite D (where it will arrive close gates D50-59, and gates D32-D43; on opposite sides are gates D16-D26 & D1-D14. No security check needed.

  • Can I make it

I arrive at 10:57 on Great Lakes Air and need to connect to SW flight at 12. Can I make it?

Denver airport is really easy to navigate - lots of moving sidewalks and a train between each concourse. You'll arrive at the end of B and need to get to the center to take the train to C. Probably won't take you longer than 20 minutes tops to get to your next gate.

Make sure to check in online and print your boarding pass for your Southwest flight before you leave! Also, don't plan on checking a bag with that transfer time as Great Lakes won't transfer to Southwest so you'd have to claim and then recheck, which I don't think you will have time to do.

    Thanks for your input

Thanks. I can make it without luggage. Just what I needed to know

I arrive on SW flight 1069 at 8:25 pm and need to connect to SW flight 159 at 9:05 pm. Will I have enough time?

If arriving & departing on domestic flights at DEN, your transfer time is sufficient. Southwest uses Concourse C (gates C29-39 & C40-49) for domestic flights.

Our son is arriving on Alaska 92 and connecting to Horizon 2045. What are the gates for these two flights?

He arrives at Concourse C, Gate C-2C & departs from gate C15 (Horizon merged into Alaska, & gates are listed under Alaska). (Concourse C has gates C-2A through C-2M and als gated C3 to C 20.

I arrive at A27 and Board at D8. How long will it take to walk or should I get a tram? I have 1 hour between flights. Thanks

At ATL, on arrival at Concourse A, you need to take the escalator/ elevator down to the Plane Train; At Concourse D you need to take the escalator/ elevator up to your gate - head for gates C16-D1. You have enough time.
