I arrive in Terminal D (Delta Airlines) and my sister is arriving in Terminal B ( Air Canada) - Is baggae claim a common area for ALL? Or can I take a shuttle to meet my sister at Terminal B? Basically what is the best way for us to find eachother?

At LaGuardia Airport - Terminal D, the Delta Terminal, and Terminal B, the Central Terminal, have individual baggage claims. You could either meet in Central Terminal's food court or near its information counter, or at the Delta Terminal's arrivals area at its information counter. Free shuttle buses between the terminals run every 10-15 minutes: Take Route A, serving all terminals 4am-11:30pm, or Route B, serving all except Marine Terminal A, 6am-2am), you can also take a taxi outside your terminal.

  • KUL - BLQ (Transit in AMS)

I'll be travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Bologna, transiting in AMS. On the way back I only have an hour transiting in AMS, is it enough time to get from one terminal to the next? Do I have to go through the immigration clearance? or I just get straight to my flight out from BLQ to the departure terminal for KUL flight?

As an international arrival at AMS you need to go through the immmigration / customs process; while on your return you will only go through security check and on to your gate. AMS has one integrated terminal, divided into Arrivals & Departures: 1. Inside the first level are separate sections, marked as 'Arrivals 1' through 'Arrivals 4': Arrivals 1 & 2 areas lead up to Departures 1 & 2; and Arrivals 3 & 4 lead up to Departure 3. A Transfer Assistance booth is close to the supermarket. 2. Departures level: Departures 1 uses the B & D gates; Departures 2 uses the E gates; Departure 3 uses F, G, H & M gates. An hour transfer time at AMS on your return should be sufficient.

How do i get from gate a39 to c4 quickly? Thanks

At DFWse the Skylink train which runs every 2 mins, taking on average only 5 mins for its round. At Terminal A, the station is located between gates A13-16 & A29-39; at Terminal C, it's between gates C8-12 & C27-32.

Coming from Aalborg Denmark, is 40 min. to little for next plane to Istanbul, all with KLM.

At AMS, the Arrivals level (first level) has separate sections, marked as 'Arrivals 1' through 'Arrivals 4': Arrivals 1 & 2 areas lead up to Departures 1 & 2; and Arrivals 3 & 4 lead up to Departure 3. A Transfer Assistance booth is close to the supermarket. The Departures level of the passenger terminal has Departure areas 1, 2 & 3, corresponding Lounges 1 to 4 (Lounge 1 is the Schengen lounge), and Concourses with Gate Areas B-C, D, E, F, G-H, & M. Departures 1 uses the B & D gates; Departures 2 uses the E gates; Departure 3 uses F, G, H & M gates. You need to look at your ticket to see which gate you arrive/depart from. As everything is under one roof, you should be able to get to your departure gate in time - hurry!

  • Delta T2/T3 - domestic to international
    May 8, 2012

Travelling RIC to JFK on Delta to get international flight to Athens (Delta). Pretty sure the domestic leg come in at T2 and the international goes out of T3. Can we get from T2 to T3 without going landside and having to re-screen?

Delta serves Terminals 2, 3 & 4: It uses Priority Terminal 2 with gates 19-29 for its priority customers. Terminal 3 has gates 1-18. Terminal 4 is the interantional terminal with gates A2-A7 and B20-B30. - Look at your ticket to see which gate you arrive/ depart from. While you can walk from T2 to T3 gate areas, you would need to take the Airtrain running on average every 8 mins. Station at T2: outside arrivals; at T3 outside domestic arrivals; at T4 inside arrivals level, center.

Thanks! Delta says the flight to Athens goes out of T3 so we should be fine.

  • Connecting with another party from USA

I arrive at 7:15AM on United. Another party arrives at 9:40 on American. Where should we meet?

I have both United & American Airlines listed under "Satellite Terminal", however, FCO's map does not show this. Look at your ticket to see which gate you arrive at. As a 'non-Schengen' (foreign) arrival, you will need to go through immigration/customs clearance and get your bags. A good meeting place would be at the Arrivals level near the information desk.

I can't seem to find gate A26X on the map of the airport - just where is it?

    I see only A26A & B on EWR's Terminal A map - see http://www.panynj.gov/airports/ewr-airport-map.html - maybe the X gate was added later.

where do we meet our military personel coming back from afghanistan.

ATL is about to officially open the new International Terminal on May 16, this info may no longer work: The Domestic Passenger Terminal Complex at Atlanta Airport: Doors W1 & W2 lead to the escalators, and next to the elevator is the Delta ticket service center, followed in the center by the MARTA City Train. Beyond the MARTA train station is the Information desk. You are now entering the Arrivals lobby, starting with the Atlanta Convention & Visitors' Bureau and the Travelers Aid station. Food, drink and retail establishments surround the atrium, with an escalator in the middle to the third level Atrium which houses the USO. To make sure that the facility is still there and has not been moved to the new terminal contact http://www.atlanta-airport.com/contactus.aspx or call the Airport's general information at (404) 530-6600

At PHX, US Airways uses the A & B gates of Terminal 4. You have enough time to transfer.

How many words do you need to describe filthy. This should never be allowed in an international airport.

we are arriving from montreal at term A and leaving for st.maarten terminal C but have 58 minutes between , do we have to go threw customs ?

Use U.S. customs clearance at Montreal Airport, saving you time at EWR. On Arrival take the Airtrain (close to gateway A2) to Terminal C, where it arrives on the upper level's center, post-security. No need to go through security check again. You have plenty of time.
