I have a very tight connection arriving on American terminal 4 and need to get to Alitalia in terminal 2. What is the fastest option to get to terminal 2?

Other than taking a taxi you have only one option: Take the LAX bus Route A on lower arrival level island in front of each terminal, under sign 'LAX shuttle airline connection', which runs every 12-15 mins. Your next stops after T4 will be T5 to T8, then around the curve to T1, & T2 - 6 stops or 15 mins. Count in the time you need to get through security check and on to your gate at T2's gates 21-28.

  • Only 25 minute layover from sfo -> fll

Flying Southwest through denver to fort lauderdale and they only gave us a 25 minute layover to switch planes. Arriving flight 3519 from San Francisco then to outgoing flight 441 to Fort Lauderdale. Both flights service by Southwest. Will we have enough to time to make the transfer?

I found out we're coming into gate c39 and leaving out of gate c28. Same concourse but i think we're still cutting it close with 25 minutes anyone have an opinion on this?

You arrive in Denver at Concourse C at its west gates C28 to C39; just walk over to C28.

  • BKK - Washington - Atlanta

I'm planning to go from BKK to Washington and Atlanta for a lot of meetings. I aim to base myself at Washington during the period. However, I am not so sure about the transit at IAD. I am Thai. I'm planning to fly from BKK to NRT with UA882, then NRT to Washington with UA804 aiming to arrive at IAD on Sat Nov 10 at 2.55 pm. Then, I aim to connect to ATL on the same day with UA5984 departing at 4.55 pm. Is 2 hours fairly enough for me to clear the immigration, pick the bag, and check in for UA5984? Do I have to change the terminal with bus? or Is this plan too risky? I will be so grateful for your advice.

You will arrive at IAD (Washington Dulles Airport) at Midfield Concourse D. As an international arrival, you will be transported to the International Arrivals Building at the west end of the main terminal for TSA clearance: you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in bag where indicated (the tag should indicate layover and final destination Airport Codes). Thereafter, you need to take the shuttle bus to your connecting gate (follow signs). Gate to gate time: at most 1.5 hours. Note that United uses for domestic flights Midfield Concourses A, B & C with corresponding gates (your ticket and the overhead screens in the terminal will indicate your connecting gate number. NOTE: IAD is located in the U.S. State of Virginia - 26 miles west of the central business district of Washington, D.C., the Nation's Capital (In comparison, Washington Reagan National Airport is within city limits of the Capital). To get detailed information open www.ifly.com/iad for transport options (scroll all the way down) & also open "Terminal Map" under QUICK LINKS, which gives you details of the terminal layout, etc.

i'm travelling to Germany via Toronto....reservation says terminal M. Is that domestic or international?

YVR does not have a Terminal M - If you are an internantional arrival at YVR, you arrive at International Terminal's level 2 and depart from level 3 at D gates 50-78. For details, including customs procedures, open www.ifly.com/yvr, click on "Terminal Map" and scroll down to the detailed text.

im flying into terminal 1 at sfo and then catching a connection in terminal 3. i have less than an hour...anyone know if im able to walk from terminal 1 to 3 or if i have to catch the air train?

At SFO, to get from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 take the the Red Lines of the AirTrain, an automated people mover. Terminal 3 has boarding area F serving Air Canada & United, with gates 68-90. You have enough time.

Can you go from Terminal 1 gates to Terminal 2 gates without going through security?

On arrival at STL, Terminal 1, you need take Exit 2 or 12 near the baggage claim for the free terminal shuttle to Terminal 2, where it arrives on the lower level, near exit 2 or 12 where you need to go through security check before proceeding to your E gate.

Looked for floor plans for arrivals and can't locate Hertz. Easy directions please.

YYZ has its rental car counters for major rental car agencies located on Level 1 of each of the parking garages adjacent to the terminals. Courtesy vans take you to off-airport rental car locations at Viscount Station. See http://www.torontopearson.com/en/toandfrom/carrentals/#

I arrive Turkish Airlines and have 2 hours and 15 minutes to get to a flight with Air Canada in Terminal 7. I am making sure the baggage connection happens without me touching my bags as both are star alliance members. Do I have enough time even if I need to get my bags myself?

    Arriving in Terminal 1*

You have plenty of time. However, as an international arrival you will need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in bag where indicated (the tag should indicate layover and final destination Airport Codes). Thereafter you need to take the Airtrain (follow signs) which serves all terminals outside of the secured areas. 3. At Terminal 7 you need to go through security check and proceed to the large Concourse level with surrounding gates.

we are arriving from Memphis at 17.07 and depart for LAX at 18.00 . What terminal will we arrive at and depart from ,we will have 53 min to make the connecting flight which is the quickest way to pick up luggage and get through airport.

Where you arrive and where you depart from depends on the arline you take. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/clt for detailed information, click on "Terminal Map" and scroll down to the text below the map.

I am flying into into ORD on American Airlines then taking a connecting flight on United airlines. I have about an hour layover. How am I going to get from one terminal to another?

I suggest you open www.ifly.com/ord for detailed information, click on "Terminal Map" and scroll down to the text below the map. NOTE: If American does not transfer your checked bags to United, you need to claim them on arrival and take them along to the connecting terminal, check them in with United and then continue to your gate.
