im flying into terminal 1 at sfo and then catching a connection in terminal 3. i have less than an hour...anyone know if im able to walk from terminal 1 to 3 or if i have to catch the air train?

At SFO, to get from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 take the the Red Lines of the AirTrain, an automated people mover. Terminal 3 has boarding area F serving Air Canada & United, with gates 68-90. You have enough time.

Can you go from Terminal 1 gates to Terminal 2 gates without going through security?

On arrival at STL, Terminal 1, you need take Exit 2 or 12 near the baggage claim for the free terminal shuttle to Terminal 2, where it arrives on the lower level, near exit 2 or 12 where you need to go through security check before proceeding to your E gate.

Looked for floor plans for arrivals and can't locate Hertz. Easy directions please.

YYZ has its rental car counters for major rental car agencies located on Level 1 of each of the parking garages adjacent to the terminals. Courtesy vans take you to off-airport rental car locations at Viscount Station. See http://www.torontopearson.com/en/toandfrom/carrentals/#

I arrive Turkish Airlines and have 2 hours and 15 minutes to get to a flight with Air Canada in Terminal 7. I am making sure the baggage connection happens without me touching my bags as both are star alliance members. Do I have enough time even if I need to get my bags myself?

    Arriving in Terminal 1*

You have plenty of time. However, as an international arrival you will need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in bag where indicated (the tag should indicate layover and final destination Airport Codes). Thereafter you need to take the Airtrain (follow signs) which serves all terminals outside of the secured areas. 3. At Terminal 7 you need to go through security check and proceed to the large Concourse level with surrounding gates.

we are arriving from Memphis at 17.07 and depart for LAX at 18.00 . What terminal will we arrive at and depart from ,we will have 53 min to make the connecting flight which is the quickest way to pick up luggage and get through airport.

Where you arrive and where you depart from depends on the arline you take. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/clt for detailed information, click on "Terminal Map" and scroll down to the text below the map.

I am flying into into ORD on American Airlines then taking a connecting flight on United airlines. I have about an hour layover. How am I going to get from one terminal to another?

I suggest you open www.ifly.com/ord for detailed information, click on "Terminal Map" and scroll down to the text below the map. NOTE: If American does not transfer your checked bags to United, you need to claim them on arrival and take them along to the connecting terminal, check them in with United and then continue to your gate.

I am traveling with an elderly man. Do you have transportaton for get us from F to B

At PHL there are three Concourses: Concourses 1 with gates F1-F9, Concourse 3 with gates F24-39, and Concourse 2 with gates F10-23. The free shuttle bus, operated by US Airways , makes the following connections: at Terminal F (at gate F14), and between Terminals B/C (at gate C16) Note that Concourse B gates B1-B16, and Concourse C gates C16-C31 on opposite sides. If you feel you need a wheelchair you need to contact your airline at least 48 hrs prior to arrival at PHL; otherwise altert your flight attendant immediately of such need.

  • B Bagage to A baggage

How does one get from TB baggage to TA baggage? How long will this take? Is it possible to walk?

I presume you arrive from an international flight, and your airline will transfer your bags to Terminal A (make sure, if not, you need to take the bag along to Terminal A and check it in there). On arrival, you would have to go through passport control, pick up bag, go through customs clearance and then re-check-in your bag at the designated area. That can take 35-50 mins. Thereafter you would need to take the Airtrain (follow signs), which serves all terminals in their secured areas and takes only 2 mins.

I am flying from CVG to LHR and have 55 mins to get from gate G11 to K7. Is this enough time? Will I have to go through security? I see a security checkpoint on terminal 3 map between the concourses.

On arrival at ORD, you have plenty of time for transfer - no need to go through security - just follow signs. Concourse K is to the left of Concourse G (However, if you use two airlines and your first airline does not transfer your bags to the connecting flight, you would need to claim your bags first, then re-check them in with your connecting airline and then go through security check and on to your gate.

Thank you for the info. I am flying with BA using AA as their partner. So I am hoping they transfer my bags.

  • TBIT to Term 2 ( 1hr40mins??)

I am arriving from Australia to TB , need to transfer to Term 2 for a flight 1hr40min later . Can anyone advise regariding luggage . My airline has told me they will transfer my luggage direct to next flight , but I not sure if I need to collect the luggage or simply proceed thru customs etc . Any help how it would all happen ??Others suggested a min. of 3hrs . HELP

    1. At LAX, TB (Bradley Terminal or "TBIT") - is in the center of a U-shaped terminal complex. You have two options to get to T2 - both require you to exit TBIT and go through security check at T2. While walking to Terminal 2 (left of TBIT around the bend, passing T1 - the shuttle bus connecting all terminals runs the opposite way (first T4-T8 and around to T1, & T2: the LAX bus Route A stops on lower arrival level island in front of each terminal, under sign 'LAX shuttle airline connection', and comes around every 12-15 mins, you would have 7 stops taking about 18 mins. 2. As an international arrival, you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in bag where indicated (the tag should show layover and final destination Airport Codes). Allow for this procedure 40-50 mins. Add another 15 mins to going through security and on to your gate you would need 98 mins from gate to gate (maximum time) - If possible rebook for a later connection.
