I arrive to jfk on united and need to connect to jet blue., how to i get to the jet blue terminal?

On arrival at JFK at Terminal 7 you can either exit the terminal and walk over to Terminal 5, or take the Airtrain (follow signs). In both instances you will have to go through security check at T5 before proceeding to your connecting gate. Make sure that United transfers your checked bags to Jet Blue flight - if not, you need to claim your bags at T7 and re-check them in at T5.

I have 55 minutes to get from Delta terminal D to Terminal B ..is it walking distance between the 2 terminals, do you thing i can catch it

On arrival at Terminal D take the free shuttle bus - route A - which runs every 10-15 minutes: Take Route A, serving all terminals; or take a taxi outside your terminal. In either case you need to go through security check at Terminal B before proceeding to your connecting gate.

I'm flying in on United UA119 and transferring to UA 9360(LH1126). Will my luggage go through to my destination(Barcelona) or do I have to claim it at Frankfort and go through customs there?

    1. At FRA Airport you arrive at, and depart from, Terminal 1, pier (concourse) B (B gates B1-B63). You will have to go through 'non-Schengen' (foreign) passport check.

  • London To Costa Rica

Hi. I'm traveling from London to Costa Rica on American Airlines, changing planes in Dallas. 1. Will my checked in bags go straight through? 2. We have 2 hours to transfer - that will be enough time won't it? Thank you.

On arrival at DFW your bags will automatically be transferred to your connecting AA flight. Note that AA uses International Terminal D and Domestic Terminals A, B, C & E (American Eagle uses TB & TD). You arrive at TD and need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and re-check-in your bag/s where indicated. Look at overhead screens (and also your ticket) to find your connecting terminal or corresponding gate. Then take the free Skylink train, which runs inside the post-security area of each of the five terminals, starting at the International Terminal D at gates D2, D20, D25 & D34, and connecting to the other terminals by two Skylink stations each (close to the left and right end). It runs every 2 mins and takes about 5 minutes of transfer time on average. Terminals A, B, C & E Skylink stations are between gates A13-16 & A29-34, B9-12 & B28-31, C8-12 & C27-32, and E8-11 & E31-32 . You have enough time.

  • Transferring from terminal B to E

I am taking flight AA3209 from LAW which lands in TB at 425pm and then switching over the US1108 to CLT which departs at 530pm. My concern is that these 2 flights were booked separately, so will I get both boarding passes from LAW and will my checked-in bags be transferred to the USAirways flight automatically? If I have to collect my bags, then transfer over, would I have enough time?

Your US connecting flight will be out of TE (which is not connected by walkway to the other domestic terminals). On arrival at TB you need to claim your bags (as AA and US belong to a different Alliance, and you have separate bookings) and take them to TE, where you need to re-check-in your bag with US Airlines before proceeding to your connecting gate. The Skylink train connects all gate areas inside the secured area. However, you will be in the unsecured area of TB when claiming your bags. Go to the information counter there to find out if you can go with your bag through security check to catch the Skylink stations located between gates A13-16 & A29-34, B9-12 & B28-31, C8-12 & C27-32, and E8-11 & E31-32 . An hour seems to be very tight for all this.

How to get from Terminal 1 to customs and baggage claim?

On arrival at CDG, simply follow signs. Baggage claim is on the ground level.

How to get from RER B station in terminal 2 to terminal 2G for my flight

At CDG Airport - under the common area linking halls 2C through 2F is Terminal 2's only RER & TGV railroad station - walking distance between Halls 2A & 2B are over 500 meters, and to get to 2G you need a shuttle bus.

We'll be flying from San Diego to LAX on a Delta flight operated by Skywest, then getting on a KLM flight to Amsterdam (on the way to Bucharest). What will we have to do when we land at LAX?

While I have no Skywest listing, Delta uses at LAX Airport Terminal 5 and KLM Terminal 2. On arrival at T5, you need to exit the terminal and take the LAX bus Route A on lower arrival level island in front of each terminal, under sign 'LAX shuttle airline connection', which runs every 12-15 mins. Your next stops will be T6, T7, T8, around the bend to T1 and T2 - five stops or about 12 mins. At T2 you will have to go through security check before proceeding to your gate. HOWEVER, make sure that Skywest will transfer your bags to KLM connecting flight - if not you need to claim your bag on arrival and re-check it in with KLM at T2.

I am transiting in Terminal 1, connecting from a domestic flight headed to the US. I have just over an hour between flights, does anyone know if you have to go through customs in YYZ or in your US destination?

Toronto Pierson Airport is one of the Canadian Airports with US Customs Clearance in both of their Terminals 1 & 3, with clearly marked signs and separate departure gates. Terminal 1 has on level 3 D, E & F gate areas (referred to as 'Nodes'). Do make sure that your first airline will transfer your bags to the connecting airline - if not, you would need to claim bags & re-check them in at connecting airline desk - taking extra time.

  • 1.5hr enough for international flight?
    Oct 10, 2012

I'm flying from Shanghai, China to DTW and then to JFK. Both are Delta. I have 1.5hrs layover. Is that enough for me to go through the custom? Thank you.

On arrival at DTW - McNamara Terminal, you go through passport check, pick up bags, go through customs clearance and re-check-in your bag - that should take you 35-50 mins at most; escalators take you to level 2, go through security check and on to either Concourses A, B or C (check overhead screens for your departing flight number & gate): Concourse A, reached from level 2, has 1.5 miles of moving walkways . Additionally, the Express Tram stops at the South station near gate A11, the Terminal station in the center near the water feature, and the North station near gate A67. Concourse A has to the left gates A38-A1; to the right gates A40-78, and at its center the tunnel connecting to Concourse B to the left and Concourse C to the right. Concourse B at right has gates B1-21on opposite sides. Concourse C at left has C1 through C43 on opposite sides. An elevator between Concourses B & C leads to the Lower Level gates C1 to C7.

What's the easiest way to get FROM Terminal 2 TO Terminal 1 Concourse C?

LAS only has T1 (C gates) & T3 (E gates) - I suggest you open www.ifly.com/las and click on "Terminal Map" under QUICK LINKS, then scroll down to the detailed text.

I fly from SJC San Jose CA to SEA to catch a connecting flight to FCA Kalispell MT within 1 hour how to get to where I need to be. Thanks, Don.

SEA Airport's terminal complex is quite extensive; without knowing the airline or Concourse /gate you arrive & depart from, I cannot give you detailed transfer instructions. However, an hour between flights should suffice. It is best for you to open www.ifly.com/sea, then click on "Terminal Map" under QUICK LINKS, and scroll down to the detailed text to find your airline, concourse or satellite and how to connect between them.

  • Get from T- 3 to T-5

I have a domestic flight coming into T-3 and then a departure from T-5 just an hour and 50 minutes later out of 5. Do I have to cue for another custom check, or anything?

On arrival at ORD, Terminal 3, take the ATS shuttle train, which runs every few minutes between Terminal 5's ATS level the and domestic terminals 1, 2 & 3. (Only international arrivals need to go through customs procedure). You have enough time.

We are flying to Terminal A, with flight AA1589 next monday from New York to Dallas to catch the next AA plane 657 that leaves for Mexico from Terminal D. Do we have to go throw customs, and or pick up our bags or can we just run to the next terminal. We have very little time, only 45 minutes from Terminal A to terminal D. Please answer, dont want to miss our flight.

You have enough time! Only international arrivals, need to go through customs clearance procedure. As you use AA for both legs of your journey, your bags will automatically be transferred to your connecting flight. On Arrival at TA, take the free Skylink train, which departs (post-security) between gate set A15-16 & A25-26 and will arrive at TD, making stops at D2, D25 & D34. The Skylink runs every 2 mins and takes about 5 mins to go around.

Thank you very, very much. That answer made me feel so much better.
