  • Pier A+ not in the map?

why is concourse A+ not in the map? Its an additional pier, not just integrated into A (like you did). The whole pier is missing in the drawings....

Concourse A is on the ifly map: see http://www.ifly.com/frankfurt-airport/FRA-Concourse-A; and the text under the map does refer to A+ opening. However, the person charged with maps has not yet had a chance to make the change (overwhelmed by so many Airport around the world adding new terminals, etc.) I see from Frankfurt AP map that Concourse A now branches into to arms, one with gates A1-42 & another (A+) with gates 50-69).

  • help with connection B79 to B92

Travel tomorrow is messed up due to flight crew delay. Right now we will get to Denver at B79....flying out of Gate B92 to Vancouver. Due to Delay we get in at 11:16 (as of now) and supposed to leave at 11:34. I have been on hold with United for 3 hrs. is this even possible

As of 10/28, 8:42am Denver time, I see no special announcement on the Denver Airport site. I suggest you open http://www.flydenver.com/flights ad input your info there.

I will be flying on US Air from Knoxville to JFK with a stopover in CLT. The flrst leg from Knoxville to CLT is on US Air Express-PSA Airlines. Do I need to collect and recheck my baggage or go through Immigration and security again?

You arrive at CLT at Concourse D, walk towards the Atrium (ticketing area) and go to your connecting Concourse. US Airways is using Concourses B, C & D, with corresponding gate numbers (on arrival look at overhead screens to find your flight number, gate and departure time. Concourses A-E surround the Atrium - no shuttle needed. P.S.: Only international ARRIVALS need to go through customs clearance procedure. Your bags will be transferred to your connecting flight.

We are 4Psgr arriving at T2 by AF at 02.15PM connecting DL T5 leaving 03.24PM to LAS. This is our first time travel how could we proceed to cash our flight Thank you for reply and your cooperation

    1. You need to first find out if Air France transfers your bags at LAX to your connecting Delta flight - if not, you would have to take your bag from T2 to T5 & check it in at Delta counter. 2. As an international arrival at LAX Airport, you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in bag (the tag should indicate layover and final destination Airport Codes) - estimated time: 35-40 mins. 3. Thereafter you need to exit T2 and take the LAX bus Route A on lower arrival level island in front of each terminal, under sign 'LAX shuttle airline connection', which runs every 12-15 mins. Your next stops after T2 will be T3, TBIT, T4, T5 - 4 stops or 10 mins. 4. At T5 you need to go through security check before proceeding to your gate. (T5 has gates 50-69). No time to waste!

I m flying to Brasil and my flight parture at 7 pm from Baltimore and arrive at 9.02 pm in south terminal. My conection to Brasil is 9.50 pm in Maynard Jackson Intl terminal. 50 min is possible to get a flight? How do I get this map? Thank you.

    1. Terminal layout at ATL: The Domestic Passenger Terminal at ATL houses the Ground Transportation Center, an Atrium, a Main Security Checkpoint leading to North & South Security checkpoints, and on either side of the Main Terminal the North & South Terminals; its Concourse T is attached to the Main terminal, with separate buildings for Concourses A through D, parallel to one another and arranged successively in distance from the main terminal. (Note that international Concourse E - the last of the five successive buildings - is now part of the new International Terminal.) 2. Connecting: All Concourses - domestic & international - are connected by the underground 'Plane Train' stopping at the center of each Concourse. 3. Arriving from a domestic flight & transferring to an international flight: (a) if arriving on a single ticket, you can proceed to your connecting gate. (b) if arriving on two or more tickets issued by non-participating airlines, you need to collect your bags and take them with you on the terminal connector shuttle located at the ground transport center; from there it takes 15 minutes to get to the International Terminal, where you have to check-in your bag again and then go through security and on to your gates. - your time should be sufficient.

  • WALKING TIME

At Miami Int. airport can you walk from one end of concourse D to the other end in 40 minutes? Does the people mover cover the distant quicker?

At Miami Airport, North Terminal's Concourse D is one mile long and has 60 gates. It is served by the Skytrain on its roof with 4 stations, running between the east and west Gates and completing its route within 5 minutes: Station 1 stops at gaste D17; Station 2 stops at domestic baggage claim and serves gates D20-25.; Station 3 serves gats D26-39; and station 4 serves gates D40-60.

what termianal at IAH does United Express leave from?

United & United Express use the same code UA - IAH does not distinguish between those two - your ticket should indicate Terminal & gate. United uses Terminals A, B, C & E (with corresponding gates); your ticket should indicate Terminal /gate.

  • Terminal C to Amtrak station

My elderly mother and I are arriving in Terminal C and needing to get on board the Amtrak. Will one hour from landing to amtrak departure be enough time to get to the train?

Using public transportation, and with an elderly person in tow, I am not sure that you would make it within an hour. These are your public transport options: The AirTrain is free within the Airport and also connects passengers to NJ Transit and Amtrak Northeast Corridor train lines via the Newark Liberty International Airport Train Station. AirTrain Entry/Exit $5.50 is included on New Jersey Transit and Amtrak tickets to/from the Airport. The Newark Liberty Train station is a 7-minute ride to/from Terminal C. Tickets for the Airtrain are available at AirTrain Stations of each terminal. Travel time to Newark Penn Station 15 mins. Amtrak service on Northeast Corridor runs every hour between the Airport, Philadelphia and New York City. (Amtrak tel. 800-872-7245).

Hello, Can anyone tell me how far it is from terminal 1 to terminal 2? I have only 1 hour 40 minutes between flights will I need a taxi to get from one terminal to the other? Thanks

All terminals at JFK are arranged in a semi-circle. Note: if you are an international arrival at T1, you need to go through passport check, pick up bags, go through customs clearance and re-check-in bags (if first airline you use transfers to second airline's departure flight - otherwise you need to take your bags over to T2 and check them in with your connecting airline) - In either case, simply exit T1, walk over to T2 and go through security check before proceeding to your connecting gate. For all these circumstances your time is sufficient.

Hello, Can anyone tell me how far it is from terminal 7 to terminal 8? I have only 1 hour 45 minutes between flights will I need a taxi to get from one terminal to the other? Thanks

All seven terminals at JFK are arranged in a semi-circle. You can easily exit T7 and enter T8, without using the Airtrain (which serves all terminals. In either case you need to go through security check at T8. Do make sure that your first airline transfers your checked bags to the connecting flight (if by another airline)- if not, you would have to pick up your bag and re-check it in at the airline counter at T8. Either way you have enough time.

  • Terminal E & C

I am flying from Calgary to Cancun on United Airlines with a stopover and plane change in Houston both there and back. My flight there lands in Terminal E and departs again from Terminal E so I assume that is just a matter of disembarking and reboarding. However, my return flight from Cancun lands in Terminal E and departs for Canada in Terminal C. Do I need to go through Customs/Security when I land and again before I take off? Will I need to claim my checked bag first and recheck it or will that get transfered for me?

While your first arrival at IAH will not be considered as an 'International Arrival' (as you pass US customs clearance in Calgary), on your return from Cancun to IAH you will be an International Arrival and need to go through Customs clearance: The International Arrivals building can be accessed from both Terminal E & C, with separate US Customs. Arriving passengers go through customs & take the escalator down to Baggage Claim Level 1. From there they go through Exit Control and enter to the right the baggage recheck area, and straight out arrive at the International Arrivals Lobby which has an escalator down to the Inter-Terminal Train to Terminals A, B & C (at TC, you need to go through security check before proceeding to your gate.

I have the same question. Does this also apply to me? I'm arriving from Tegucigalpa, HN on UA into Houston at 356pm, connect to Las Vegas 538pm that same day on UA with 3 bags (I'm moving from HN). My time between flights is 1hr 30 minutes. I'm hoping for a delay for the Las Vegas flight due to all the terminal transfers and customs and security processes. Do you think I'll make the connection?

I am flying from HNL to LAX on delta airplan and then departing LAX to Bos on United airplan 50 mins later. Are I have enought time to tranfer and whichwaythe paster way get in. such a short layover I worry my bag won't get transferred in time. Thanks

Prior to arrival at LAX, you need to find out if Delta (arriving a Terminal 5 - T5) transfers your bags automatically to your United connection. If not, you would have to claim your bags and re-check them in at the United counter at either T6 - gates 60-77 or T8 - gates 70-77 - your ticket & the overhead screens on arrival will indicate gate Terminal & gate number). You have two options to connect between terminals: (a) walking: T5, T6, & T7 are connected by underground tunnel; a short walkway from T7 leads to T8. (b) taking the bus: The LAX bus Route A on lower arrival level island in front of each terminal, under sign 'LAX shuttle airline connection', which runs every 12-15 mins. and takes from T5 to T8 about 7 mins. In either case you will need to go through security check at your departing terminal before proceeding to your gate. If Delta is not delayed & will transfer bags, you have plenty of time; otherwise hurry!
