Arriving SW #4031 from San Jose at 4:45pm, Departing SW #3578 at 5:10pm. Will we have enough time?

If your first flight is on time, yes, all the Southwest domestic gates at DEN are close together.

Thanks, its been a long time since we have flown. Appreciate the advice.

Our Brisbane flight is due to arrive at LAX at 6,40am. We want to connect on to a Portland flight that leaves at 8.35am. Does that leave enough time to clear customs and immigration and get to Terminal 6 (Alaskan Airlines)? We haven't had our photo's or fingerprints recorded before.

Yes, that should be enough time.

my mom is catching domestic flight at SFO. and her duration is 4 hr and 25 mints.I am wondering will it be enough for her to reclaim luggage and go through security again ? THabks

4+ hours is plenty of time to make any transfer.

we fly in on AA from st Louis to T3 gate H9 and must make way to T1 concourse B gate B6 for flight to Tampa. we have 50 mins between flights.

You can walk from T3 to T1 without having to go through security again. If your first flight is on time and you don't have any bags or you check your bags through to TPA you can make it. That's a really weird connection - (AA to UA).

  • Going from C to D gates and back again

Flying out of LAS via SWA (probably a C gate) but want to utilize the new Centurion Lounge which is in the D concourse. Is it possible to go through security at the C gates, transfer to D gate and go back again without going back through security?

Would love to know the answer! Planning to do the same on Friday.

I am flying to Dulles, DC (Skywest) from wichita, ks (Expressjet) on March 21. I connect in iah with only 30 minutes. I am not familiar with the iah terminal. Any suggestions?

Both of your flights will probably be in Terminal B so it shouldn't be that difficult of a connection.

Hi. I am looking at a flight pairing from Montreal to Newark and then Newark to Fort Meyers on United Airlines. It is on a Wednesday with the layover at around 2pm. I assume that customs clearance will be done in Montreal and baggage checked through to Fort Meyers. Is 52 minutes enough time to change gates? I will be travelling with my 20 month old baby (carrying her in a baby carrier, no gate checked items), of course providing the flights are on time...

Yes, 52 minutes is doable and considering it's at 2 PM, there's probably another flight to Ft. Myers after that if you miss your connection due to delays.

Is TSA precheck available at any of the United Terminals? I am flying out of T7 after transferring over from T2.

Calgary to LAX on Air Canada. Transferring from T2 to United Airlines commuter flight in T7. Easiest transfer? I should have 2 hours. Do i have to go out of security?

Yes, you will have to leave security. You can take the shuttle that operates on the lower level or walk, either way it's a long transfer, but you have enough time.

All US Airways flights operate from Terminal 4

  • Security Wait Times

The iFly information on security wait times would be a lot more useful if there was any information on when it was last updated? Are these figures for this week, or last June?

Well it does say 'based on historical averages', and as a frequent traveler I'd say they're pretty close. HOWEVER, they're only pretty close for certain days of the week. Try flying Monday before 9am and you'll run into the east-coast crowd starting their week. Saturday afternoon? Not so much of a problem. They need to show average BY DAY. And please, could you decifer the check in lines are called? Not everyone knows the name of the entrance by the food court with twice as many metal detectors as the other entrances!

We are flying with United from Calgary (YYC) to IAH then Cancun on April 30h. All with United. Our layover is 1h20min. Can we expect to make the connection? Our arriving/departing flight are both in terminal E. I am not sure if we will have to line up to go through customs and collect our baggage before we board our next flight. Thanks

You will pre-clear US Immigration in Calgary. You will not have to collect your baggage until you get to Cancun.

it will be better if you contact with the website of the airlines

We are flying with United from Montreal (YUL) to IAH then Puerto Vallarta on April 5th. All with United. Our layover is 1h10min. Can we expect to make the connection ? Do we have to claim our luggages and go through the security ?

You will pre-clear US Immigration in Montreal. You will just have to get to your gate (likely a connection from Terminal C to Terminal E). You do not have to claim any luggage or go through security again in Houston, just take the Terminalink train between terminals if necessary.

Arriving on Korean Air at TBIT. This is Delta code share flight with a connection at Terminal 5. Will have to claim my baggage and check it in at 5 or will the bags be transferred to the connecting flight? Also, as I have 2 large suitcases is there porters available for assistance?

You will claim your baggage in Immigration and then you can re-check them with Delta in the TBIT once you clear customs. You'll then just walk yourself and your carry-ons to T5 and go back through security.
