  • T4 to T1 (UK Citizen - transit visa? )
    Aug 3, 2012
    1
I am a UK citize arriving at T4 and connecting flight is at T1 - do I need a transit visa? or can I change terminals easily?

    1. If you use different airlines, your first priority is to find out from your your airline departing UK if it will transfer your bags to connecting fight, as not all airlines do - if not, you would have to take your bag along from T4 to T1 & check it in at your next airline's counter. 2. All international arrivals at U.S. go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in bag were indicated (the tag should state original, layover and final destination Airport Codes). This procedure can take from 35 to 55 min. Thereafter, follow signs to board the AirTrain which runs on average every 8 mins and takes only minutes between each terminal. At Terminal 1 it stops at the Arrivals level, outside, center. You need to enter the terminal, go through security check and on to your gate. NOTE: when transferring international to domestic flights, ask your flight attendant prior to arrival at JFK to hand you a tag which will give you an express pass through security upon arrival.

  • Which terminal

I am flying from Newark to Toronto by United (United Express). Which terminal should I go to at EWR airport for departure.

United Express serves both in Terminals A & C; Your ticket should indicate the terminal with either gate area or gate number. At Terminal 1 it serves Gate Area 1 with gates A10-18; Terminal C Gate Area C1 has gates C70-71; C2 has gates C101-102; & C3 gates 120-139.

  • 45mn to transfer (Gate A1 to C16) United

I will be arriving from Ottawa With United express at 21:13 Gate A1 to catch the another United flight to Frankfurt at 22:01 Gate C16. Please advice how to connect the fastest way. Do I have enought time? Thank you

    1. At YOW, take advantage of the U.S. customs clearance, saving you time at IAD. 2. Arriving domestic passengers at IAD should follow signs 'TO BAGGAGE CLAIM / GROUND TRANSPORTATION'; domestic arrivals at A, B or C gates should follow the AeroTrain sign. (A gates & C gates are in separate buildings). You have plenty of time.

How can I get from Terminal F to Terminal B, my flight is next month and I would like some help

Terminal F is separate from the other terminals; exit the terminal and take the free shuttle bus operated by US Airways to Terminal A, which is connected to Terminal B.

What is the usual transfer time to get from F to A?

  • How do I get from D to C to meet friends
    Aug 2, 2012

Im arriving into Concourse D and need to meet up with my friends who are arriving in Concourse C. D looks like it's totally detached!? Is there a tram/shuttle, etc?

At LAS both Concourses C & D are in Terminal 1; all concourses at T1 can be reached from the Esplanade. As both concourses are quite long, each of them is served by a D gate / C date tram. If LAS is your final destination, I suggest you meet up at the Arrivals hall near the information counter.

  • Need advice on dropping off passengers

Help--have to drop off passengers at AMerican Airlines Terminal 3-does upper level departures allow me to park and drop them off and leave?

You can quickly drop off your passengers at the upper level departures of ORD, but do not leave your car unattended.

  • from T4 to T5

I arrive on emirates airline to T4 and have connection with jet blue to boston in T5, i have 2hrs transit time, is it enough? as i have checked in baggages and how can i move from T4 to T5? thx

    1. International arrivals need to go through passport clearance, pick up bags, & go through customs clearance. (a) If Emirates will transfer bags to your JetBlue flight (check with Emirates first), you simply re-check-in your bag at the dedicated area; (b) if Emirates does not transfer your bags, you need to take them on to the Airtrain and check them in at the JetBlue counter on the Departures level of T5. The Airtrain, arrives at Terminal 4 inside arrivals level, at center and at Terminal 5 near gate 25 (or 1 on opposite side) - the Airtrain stops at pre-security areas only. You need to go through security check before proceeding to your gate. Two hours are quite enough, even for checking in your bags at T5.

Where are the Rental car counters at SEA? Main termial?

SEA has a new 5-level RCF (Consolidated Rental Car Facility) at South 160th Street & International Blvd. south intersection, and adjacent to the Airport includes all rental car counters and rental cars. Free shuttles run 24/7 between the terminals & RCF. Pickup is outside the baggage claim at north & south ends of the main terminal. For rental car return use SR518 and follow signs to RCF. Rent-a-Wreck customers need to take another shuttle from the RCF.

  • Distance Terminal 4 - gates 42 to gate 3
    Aug 1, 2012
    1
What is the distance between those two gates?

At LAX Terminal 4 has gates 42-49; Gate 3 is in Terminal 1. To get from T4 to 1, you need to take the LAX bus Route A on lower arrival level island (in front of each terminal), under sign 'LAX shuttle airline connection', which runs every 12-15 mins. Your next stops after T4 would be at T5, 6, 7, 8 and T1 - 5 stops or 12 mins. At T1 you need to go through security check before proceeding to your gate.

I have 3 friend all flying in within 1 hour time difference. We have different terminals

I suggest you open www.ifly.com/ord and click on "Terminal Map", then scroll down to the text for detailed information. Pick a terminal as meeting point - the arrivals hall with information counter is one place you can meet up.

  • Transfer from T5 to T3 in 100min.
    Jul 31, 2012

Arriving at ORD at 10:15hrs, flight AI 127 (Air India). Next, connecting flight AA 1247 for LAX at 11:55hrs. Enquired and found Air India has no Baggage Transfer onwards from ORD. Would have Check-in Luggage. Could I re-check in my Check-in luggage at T5 and board the ATS Train with my hand luggage? Would the AA staff add the layover airport tags (ORD) to my luggage? Also, is it enough time even if there's a 10min. delay?

After arriving at Terminal 5, going through passport control, picking up bags and going through customs clearance, you need to count on 35-50 mins; With your bag in tow, proceed thereafter to the Airport Transit System (ATS train) connecting to Terminal 3. At Terminal 3 you need to go to your connecting airline's check-in counter on the Departures level, to re-check-in your bags before proceeding to your gate. Your connecting time is extremely tight and does not allow for delays and long lines at re-check-in.
