Need help - my sister is arriving in IAH from LGA; United says arrival gate is E3; Flight Aware says arrival information is Terminal C Gate E3 Do I go to Terminal C or Terminal E

Houston Bush Airport shows the following United arrivals from LaGuardia Airport for 10/4/12: UA 1456, gate E8; UA 437 gate C19; UA 1726 gate E 22. If your arrival is on another day, open http://www.fly2houston.com/0/3807990/0/0/ NOTE: If arriving at gates C29-45 and transferring to Terminal E: walk towards gates C14-24 and proceeds straight on to TE. For more information about terminals, gates, and transfers open www.ifly.com/iah and click on "Terminal Map" under QUICK LINKS, then scroll down to the detailed text.

Leaving LAX on Delta; connecting in AMS on KLM to NBO...will my luggage be booked all the way - from LAX to NBO?

As both Delta & KLM are members of the Sky Team, I presume Delta will transfer your bags to your KLM flight; however, make sure by contacting Delta. If not, you would need, on arrival at AMS, claim your bags & check them in on level 2 (the Departure level) and get your boarding pass. This is what you need to know about AMS terminal: Arrivals 1 & 2 areas lead up to Departures 1 & 2; and Arrivals 3 & 4 lead up to Departure 3. Departures 1 uses the B & D gates; Departures 2 uses the E gates; Departure 3 uses F, G, H & M gates. You can walk from B to M gates in a mere 15 mins.

how long does it take to get from gate C21 to D5

At ATL Airport, Concourses C & D are separate buildings; On arrival at gate C21, take the escalator/elevator down to the Plain Train to Concourse D, go up escalator/elevator and you arrive near D16, then walk to D5. estimated time: 15 mins.

Hello, How long does it take to transfer from gate A34 to gate F9 in Atlanta? I will be arriving on a domestic flight and transferring to an international flight. Thank you.

You arrive at Concourse a of the domestic terminal, which has gates T9-15 on one side, T8-T1 on the other, and in the center escalator/ elevator down to the 'Plain Train, which will take you to the International Terminal, Concourse F - arriving there - follow signs to gates F1-10. Train transfer time about 15 mins.

At ATL Airport, you arrive at Concourse A of the domestic terminal, which has gates A19-34 on one side, & gates A17-1 on the other, and in the center escalator/ elevator down to the 'Plain Train, which will take you to the International Terminal, Concourse F - follow signs to gates F1-10. Train transfer time about 15 mins.

  • connect to TB from terminal 5

I am arrving via Delta at Terminal 5, then retrieve my baggae and proceed to tom Bradly termunal for my international flight and check in at Philippine airlines. How do I get to TB after getting my baggages? Thank you.

On arrival at LAX Airport at T5 you have two options: (a) exit T5 and walk to the left to T4, walk around the curve to Bradly - 10 mins.; (b) take the the LAX bus Route A on lower arrival level island in front of each terminal, under sign 'LAX shuttle airline connection', which runs every 12-15 mins. Your the next stops are T6 to T8, around the bend to T1 to T3 and around the curve to Bradley - 7 stops or 18 mins. In either case count in the extra time for baggage checkin, security check & gate connection. At Bradley, past ticket counters A to F are the escalators (at A & F) leading to the TSA Screening, and past that you have in the center bus gates 107-112 and bus gates 113-118, as well as Gates 101-108 to the left, and gates 119 -123 to the right. Look at overhead screens to find your connecting gate number.

I willchoose to walk because I have two pcs of baggages to check in.Thank you so much for your reply. At least I will know what to do.

Which Terminal does United Airlines depart from to Grand Cayman?

As a general rule United uses its exclusive Terminal C; however, some United domestic flights are now also available in Terminal A. Your ticket should indicate which terminal.

  • Short layover/checked luggage

I am flying IAD to LAX next week on UAL 731 (777 aircraft) and then departing LAX to San Luis Obispo 46 mins later. According to my research I will most likely be arriving at gate 74 and departing from 71. Should I be concerned about my checked luggage getting on my flight to SBP? I'm elite status on UAL but with such a short layover I worry my bag won't get transferred in time. Thanks!

You won't have to worry about baggage transfer if your flights are via United /United Express. However, keep in mind that United uses T6 (gates 60-77)& T7 (gates 70-77), and United Express uses gates 80-88. If you need to transfer from T to T, keep in mind that T6 & T7 are connected by a tunnel, and T8 has a short walkway to T7. Transfer would also involve going through security check before proceeding to gate. You would have to hurry. Do scan the overhead screens on arrival for your departing gate!

We are arriving at terminal 4 and departing at terminal 4. How do we get from the arrival area to departure area?

When arriving at LAX, Terminal 4, look at overhead screens for your connecting flight number and gate. Terminal 4 has gates 41-49. Follow signs to your connecting gate.

Flying on SW need to pick up luggage and get rental car in a hurry are they close?

The three terminals at SLC surround the parking garage; and are connected to each other and to their concourses on level 2. On rrival at SLC pick up your bags at the baggage claim, then cross over to the parking garage which has on the lower level the rental car booths.

At CDG, internattioal arrivals folow "Flight Connections" signs; and take the free Aeroports de Paris shuttle to Terminal 2E, running every 15-30 mins.

Hi..I am planning to book flight from dublin to moscow with lufthansa..It arrives to frunkfurt 15.40 terminal 1.Leaving frankfurt terminal 1 for moscow at 16.50. Will i be able to catch flight with such a short connection? Thanks

You have plenty of time - Lufthansa uses both Piers A & B, connected by a transfer tunnel. Pier A has gates A1-42 & Z11-26; Pier B has gates B1-63. You can also take the SkyLine Train from Pier A to PierB.

My mother will be flying into Detroit via Delta with a 50 minute layover leaving via Delta Connection. She will be require wheelchair assistance. Will this be enough time?

When making airline reservations it is expedient to state special needs, including wheelchair assistance. If that is too late, I suggest you ask the flight attendant to contact your Delta desk at DTW to arrange for Skycap service.

  • its time enough to arrive the terminl?

Hi. My english is not so good, sorry I fly from frankfurt germny over atlanta to mineapolis. I am landing on 15.12.12 at 2:45 afternoon on Terminal I and I fly from your airport on Terminal S at 4:10 afternonn to Mineapolis. now my question is: Is that time enough to arived the Terminal S on 4:10? I will not standing on the Terminal and my plain is away without me. is terminal I far away from terminal S? and have i enough time to arrive terminal S whith all the checks (passport, safty) and the way to the next terminal? and what is, when i dont arrived the plain to the right time? must i payfor an other fly or do the flycompany book the next fly for me? Thanks for the hlp. sincerly Rene

    1. First of all let me assure you that you have enough time between transfers. However, make sure that you find out from your first airline if it will transfer your bags to the second airline, in case you use different airlines - if not, you need, on arrival, take your bag and check it in at the South Terminal's connecting airline desk. Also find out the airline rules about baggage and fees. Your passport needs to be valid at least 6 months after arriving at the U.S., if not, get a new passport quickly. 2. On arrival at ATL at the International Terminal, its Concourses E or F have separate immigration & customs checkpoints. While passengers arriving at Concourse F will go through customs clearance (CBP) at this concourse, regardless if connecting to other flights or not - Arrivals at Concourse E who need to connect to another flight will be processed right there. 3. Arriving from an international flight & transferring to a domestic flight: After going through International Arrivals customs clearance procedure, follow signs to the 'Plane Train' serving all concourses in the center of their gate arrangements. Also, the Terminal Connector Shuttle located outside the Arrivals level takes you to the Domestic Terminal - a 12-minute ride. Your connecting flight is in the (domestic) South Terminal.

Can I go from the AA gates to get a TAM flight withing two hour. and will I have to go through security again. - Thanks so much

At MIA, assuming that you are a domestic arrival with AA, you arrive at the North Terminal's Concourse D (the D gates are a mile long and use the elevated Skytrain with four stations between the east & west gates D17 & D46), To get to your connecting South Terminal, Concourse J (TAM uses J gates) you need to take the Skyride Connector, connecting all 3 terminals on level 3. Signs will clearly guide you - You will need to go through security check (Concourse J is at the left end with gates J2-18. you have enough time. Caution: make sure AA transfers your bags to TAM - if not, you need to claim your bag on arrival and check it in at the South Terminal's TAM counter.
